Writing as the husband of the owner of this account which booked the stay: The room was clean, staff is extremely polite and go out of their way to help, breakfasts are really complete. The most wholsesome thing about our experience: my wife accidentaly dropped her engagement ring over the sink during the night, after unsuccessful attempts to recover it I went down to the lobby and asked if I could pay a fee to get it recovered, told him we were leaving the next morning to Milan at 10:00 AM. He told me they would send someone earlier than that to recover it. As promised, without needing to remind the staff, the gentleman knocked our door and recovered it in 2 minutes. He refused to take a tip. I went to the lobby to ask if I could pay a fee or leave a tip, they refused to take it as well. It is not an overreaction to say they really saved our mood through our trip, as we were just 3 days in on a 21 day journey, would have been awful for my wife to carry that feeling over the entire trip. Thank you for your awesome service, extremely recommended, will definitely come back just for that reason.

Friendly and communicative staff who gave us great recommendations on what to visit. The location is excellent: bus and tram stations are within a 5-minute walk, and the old town is easily accessible on foot as well. Breakfast was tasty and varied. The room was clean, neat, and well-equipped with all necessities, featuring a comfortable bed and daily room service. Good value for the price; highly recommended! The kitchen is small, with limited seating and narrow spaces between the tables, making it a bit hard to move around.

It was in a very good location for exploring Florence. It was clean. The included breakfast was impressive for the price. The staff were friendly. There was a rooftop where we could go and take up our dinner and see the sunset. Air con and everything else worked well. When you think about the location, included breakfast and how the room was completely adequate, this place was really great value! We are glad we found it!

24 hour reception with great staff who explained where everything is, where the delicious discount restaurant is. Great location, close to the tram stop to the airport, a little further bus stop around the city. It is possible to leave your things before check-in or after checkout. The breakfast is delicious. Good shampoo with a pleasant smell.

There is a step in the bathroom that is NOT marked. Be CAREFUL and take care of your feet. The internet almost disappeared at night. The TV did not work.

The area of room was perfect. The bathroom was very comfortable with a sort of mortar used as a flooring, which made it ever dry. The Wi-Fi was working perfectly. The breakfast was really good and they did not allow any serving to get empty. The receptionist omar was very helpful and provided me on the first day with a really comprehensive guidance on the map to help me explore Florence. The other receptionist lady also was very helpful. It was a lovely shared terrace in which you could sit by the side of the reception area.

Perhaps if it was a little bit closer to the center this would have been great!! The hall in which we had breakfast needed a bit of aeration or a fan or an air condition.

We needed to book a place to stay for an extra night. Since it was near the end of our trip, we chose the most reasonable price we could find. What a bargain! There were four of us and we slept in very comfortable, very clean bunk beds. At the beginning of the day, we were worried and frustrated, by the time we got to Garden Blue and saw the bunkbeds we were making a pajama party out of it. The next day, breakfast was on the house. There were plenty of items from which to choose and everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great discovery. Whether you are on a budget or not, this is a great find.

The location was not very central, but still in walking distance. Nice people at the reception, there was a room to leave out luggage before and after checkout. The breakfast was a nice bonus. The room was not exceptional in aspect, but was very clean and well maintained.

Breakfast had only ham and eggs as real food, otherwise everything was sugar-based: Croissants, donuts, pie, jams, chocolate, juice.

ad the check in at the morning the receptionist ask to paid for the checking service. i did paid . when i back in afternoon to get the key the receptionist ask again, (which is another receptionist) to paid de service or tip. the receptionist was not happy because i answer i paid already , yes i did paid already thad kind of attitude didn't make me feel very trustworthy.

I don't understand the mediocre reviews: it was a pretty decent stay! The staff is very friendly. I travelled with my old Indian mother, and the staff made sure she was welcomed and also initiated conversations with her (something we haven't encountered so far!). The rooms: Big and spacious, sufficient for two people. The room we had was on the first floor and the stairs were not very high up. The transport: You have to take a tram (2 stations from Firenze Santa Maria Railway station) and walk about 10-15 minutes (it's navigable). From here you can literally walk everywhere: The entire city of Florence is 10 minutes-20 minutes of walking from here. The tax: Higher on the Tourist tax: we paid 12 euros for 2 person per night. Be mindful of that because costs can add up. The breakfast: Lots of options including vegetarian things. Overall, it was really good. Don't know why the negative reviews; I think it was one of our better stays in entire Italy.

The city taxes are high (6 euros/person/night). Be mindful of this! It can easily add up to a lot.

The location worked well. The receptionist recommended a wonderful restaurant which we walked to on day one and returned on Day 2. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but went to a nearby coffee shop which made coffee I love. Firenze is wonderful.

Getting out when we left very early in the morning was difficult. My husband went to get help. When he got back, I had managed to open the door. It was easier coming in rather than leaving!
