Very small hotel in a broad center of Florence - just far to be away from the biggest crowds, but still 15 min away from Duomo. The staff is amazing and friendly, though because of its small size, the hotel does not offer anonymity afforded by large chains. Room was functional and well-appointed. We visited in November, and the heating worked (probably too) well - the room was really warm. Wifi worked well, though not always fast enough to support videocalling. The breakfast is very Italian - rather simple, but satisfying.

Not really hotel's problem, but there is a lot of mosquito's, so don't keep the windows open for too long (we learnt this the hard way).

The hotel was in a good location, walking distance to the city center (Duomo, Pitti palace, Uffizi gallery). The hotel is elegant and the room was absolutely amazing. The room was big and height was at least 5 meters and there was a beautiful painting on the ceiling as well as breakfast room. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served in a beautiful breakfast room, and we received personal service, coffee was brought to the table. The breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Small family run stylish hotel. Quiet and well situated for walking to major attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed and bathroom for a few nights in Florence. Breakfast served in charming morning room and coffee made to order. Room is small as is bathroom but spotlessly clean and maintained. Request for restaurant recommendations directions and another pillow, nothing was too much trouble.

Very beautiful Hotel! The room we stayed in was not only beautiful but exceptionally clean – housekeeping was done regularly, and we always returned to freshness and comfort. The breakfasts were exquisite, with a wide selection of dishes to suit every taste. But the most impressive aspect was the friendly and helpful staff. They made our stay unforgettable, providing assistance in any situation and delivering exceptional service. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to the city. oh my, what a room. Amazing fresco ceiling in my room and in the breakfast room. High ceilings and so spacious. Everything was superb. Breakfast included hard boiled eggs, and a great selection of pastries, breads, juices, fruit, etc. Great to have a lift, albeit small and quirky! Turn left out of the street door to see the amazing centre of Florence beckoning you in. Nice & quite location, and there'll be a tram stop nearby soon, which will make a change frpm walking. BTW the tram is super easy to use - I used it from the airport for under Euros 2.

Nothing comes to mind. The owners were helpful and it's good to support an independent hotel. Good location as it was quite and full of locals. Lots of amenities nearby, with a new tram link on its way.

Very pleasant and helpful staff who spoke very good English. Spacious, comfortable bedroom which was exceptionally well decorated. Bathroom excellent. Nice breakfast. Lift to hotel which was on the 2nd floor. Allowed to leave our luggage after checkout for a few hours before we were due to catch our train.

We were initially put off by the entrance to the hotel as it's on the 2nd floor and the hallway that you go through to the lift or stairs was rather cavernous and uninviting. However these thoughts were completely dispelled when we reached the reception where we got a very friendly greeting from the owner.

This is the hotel I'm most satisfied with during my trip to Italy. It's not located in the city center, but the transportation is very convenient. We came by car and there's a large parking lot nearby, which costs about 10 euros a day. The hotel is also very close to the tram stop. The room is very beautiful and spacious, the paintings on the ceiling are amazing and all the decorations are carefully matched. The staff are very enthusiastic, staying here makes me feel comfortable.

Great location, easy walk to the museums, Duomo and city. Quiet, even though it's on the corner of a big street. Big room with very high painted ceilings and a modern bathroom.. Nice breakfast in great setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of an old building, but there is an elevator.

Can't really drive up to hotel by car, residential area, no parking. (Unfortunately on Booking.com it says parking available) However there is a good parking public parking garage very close by.

I liked the old bourgeois charme, the amazing lift, the ambiente, the style, and the big size. We loved the owners Greta and Guiseppe. Sometimes, I felt like in a movie, so stylish it is.

My wife didn't like that there's not two big blankets, but one big one for two persons. We got additional blankets, but these didn't really solve the problem. Walking distance is 25 - 30 minutes to the center. So it's around the center of Florence, but not in the heart of it.

Extremely clean rooms. We had two deluxe rooms that had beautiful 19th century frescoes on the ceiling. The mattresses were very comfortable and the bedding was first rate Italian quality. The breakfast was quite good and the dining room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The family that owns and runs the hotel are two of the nicest people you could meet. The hotel is located within the old city, but far enough away from the Duomo to be free of the tourist horde.
