Very nice location, clean and comfortable very secure

Everything about this place was good

Excellent central location at a fair price, clean, safe and very helpful staff. Some of the negative scores for this place are ridiculous. The property is right in the heart of Florence so I could walk everywhere and return to the accommodation easily mid day for a break. The staff were very helpful, easy check in, a lift up to the 4th floor which is great with luggage. I could leave my luggage for a few hours the day of check out. The windows are soundproof so no issues with noise, the place is very clean and air con is very good. It's not a luxurious 5 star hotel but for the price and star rating its an excellent option in the heart of Florence.

Nothing. I think some guests didn't realise that not closing the lift doors meant they wouldn't work for the next person. Lots of signs saying close the doors after you but still the doors were being left open. Maybe the message in more languages might be needed?

The hotel has the best location if your priority is to be able to walk everywhere. It’s 15 min to train station and 2 min to Ponte Vecchio, it’s literally in the center of all the attractions. The room, sheets and towels were so clean, honestly I was worried about the shared bathroom but it was more clean and bigger than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in Italy so far. As a solo female traveller the area was safe, the price was so affordable and the owner was really polite and caring about the guests. I stayed in a single room and it was actually wide, don’t mind the comments about small rooms, it’s all same in Italy and France, just book the hotel :)

Great location, very clean room, and great service. I elected to share a bathroom and enjoyed having a sink to myself inside my own room. The bathroom was always available and clean whenever I needed it. Even though the room is small, they have lots of storage space for your toiletries & a small wardrobe. There is also a small shared fridge that is very convenient to store a few items in. Enjoyed using the elevator as well.

European hotels are different than hotels in the USA. Usually they are comparatively smaller. This hotel did a great job leveraging all space possible for my needs.

Location is the key. One is literally in the middle of where all the action is in the city of Florence. It can’t get possibly better than this. The hosts keeps a very good eye on small details as well that the guests might need in a small room. Everything is very functional and all of it works out very well. We did self checkin as we arrived in the evening. Even that experience was superlative.

The only complain I have is about the heating. There was a air conditioner in our room that was supposed to take care of keeping the room warm. But I can’t say the output were fully rewarding.

The location of the property is excellent! You are just a short walk from the main attractions. The owners of the property are very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and well equipped. The only downside is that, since rooms are very close to the entrance and reception, it is possible to hear people coming and going (also during the night). But nothing some earplugs can’t fix.

The location is perfect! Right by the leather market and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. You can hear the street performers playing music right from your window - it was lovely! The staff was very friendly and helpful - they kept our room clean with fresh towels. For the value, I would definitely stay here again.

The beds aren't the comfiest, but they're not bad enough to ruin the stay! Because you're in a central location, you can hear noise from the streets if the window is open (we sleep with a white noise machine, so it didn't bother us). The room is also small, but it was perfect for the two of us (just be aware!).

The location is excellent and within walking distance of all the attractions of Florence. We had a very peaceful sleep which is amazing considering its central location. It is an older style traditionally decorated accommodation on the 4th floor of an old building but very comfortable and secure. The staff we met were really lovely and kind. The place is spotless.

This is a one star hotel and it was what I expected for that rating and price.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The room was not only spacious but also had that charming Italian character, especially the bathroom. What truly impressed me was the seamless check-in process; they provided a key in a secure locker, making our late-night arrival hassle-free. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our late check-in, and their warmth and friendliness added a personal touch to our stay. Thanks to the incredibly helpful and amiable hosts for making our visit truly enjoyable.

While the room was comfortable and the hosts were friendly, it's worth noting that there is no kitchen or cutlery provided. If you plan to order food, there's a small mini-bar available that can be used as a refrigerator, but that's the extent of the in-room amenities for preparing or storing food.

- the staff was super hospitable! 💚 - the location was the best! - the bed was comfy and the room tidy, the cot was provided too, with no extra hidden costs like we've experienced in some other places in Italy sadly.

- the ventilation in the room. The air felt very humid and mouldy inside and opening the window didn't help as the streets were quite loud and busy all night long 😅 But I do understand - we've stayed in an old building in the old town.
