LOCATION, location, location! Need I say more? Nice open dining room area allowing guests to use shared kitchen facilities during their stay.

Don't bother with the breakfast here, you're offered a very basic continental style provision in your room. Best to go out to the lovely cafes in the square. Our favourite was the Rivoire opposite. NO AIR CONDITIONING - AC system installed in the room but locked off by the proprietor. Room quite warm, forcing us to open the windows at night and be eaten alive by MOSQUITOES. "INNER COURTYARD VIEW" - sounds lovely, listed on the web page but view didn't exist in our room. NOISE - not from street but from noisy restaurant staff putting out waste in the viewless back "courtyard" below.

Location was amazing. You literally step out the front door into the Plaza in front of Palazzo Vecchio. The Uffizi Gallery, The Duomo Museum & Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery were all just a short walk away. Even the Accademia Gallery is less than a mile away. Shopping, amazing restaurants, and the Mercato Centrale also in the neighborhood.

If you like to sleep in cool temps you may want to chose a different option. Yes there is air-conditioning, but NO you do not have control over the temperature setting. The temperature in the room ranged from 23.7 - 24.4 celsius (~ 75 degrees) during our stay, which was a bit warm for sleeping.

If one likes authentic (in this case : with character, unique, representative of the city), this certainly is a great choice for the price - The location can’t be better / and Simona, the keeper, was very sweet, helpful, tried her best to make everyone’s stay the most comfortable. -

I believe I took the least expensive room available at the time. While it was spacious and had a huge very nice bathroom, it lacked personality (a bit more colors, pictures …would not hurt) and the windows overlooked an inside court where the local restaurant and neighbors keep the trash cans a few floors below. It was also loud (old building) because of the local restaurant business . Given the lack of view, something ought to be done to compensate and bring this room closer to the image presented . The staff did their best to help with the noise situation but without ear plugs some nights would have been difficult.

The best part of this experience was the woman who managed the facility. She did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and always with a warm smile. The room was nice and met our needs. The location was central to the main historical sites of the city.

The continental breakfast consisted of just some small packaged items. We either ate out or bought our own breakfast items (yogurt and cereal) at a local market. The view was not what was shown in the pictures, but not everyone can have a good view.

Beautiful apartment/room in historic Florence property. Very quiet room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Central location for main sights especially Uffizi Gallery. Plenty of nice restaurants located nearby. Excellent location for shopping, shops in close proximity.

Air conditioning is set by property owner and no facility to change the temperature. We found our room a little too warm. If you want a breakfast they provide a limited continental self service option with buffet trolly in room replenished each day with pastries and cereals and UHT milk. Plenty of nice cafes for breakfast located nearby. Small size TV.

We really liked the room ! It's very big and comfortable.Bathroom also nice and spacious.The location is perfect right in the piazza Della signoria and close to everything. Couldn't be better! Reception was only in the morning, she was nice and helpful.

Expected a better breakfast for the price. They had already laid some baked goods in the room for all the days.Not a huge problem for us but im putting it out there. The only other negative was the noise from restaurants and people outside but it's something you should expect when you choose a central hotel in high season.

You could not get a better location, right on the square of the palace Vecchio and round the corner from the Uffizi gallery. No view from the windows but excellent large room. If you want a view of the square go for the golden room suite. Staff are available 08.00 to 13.00 and are really helpful and friendly.

If I had to be picky it would be that there wasn’t any view from windows. But the location made up for that.

The location of this place is absolutely incredible, right outside the door is the square with the Medici palace and there are great restaurants accessible morning and night.

The room was spacious and comfortable accept we wish we could have had control of the AC since it was locked at a higher temperature than we would have preferred. Also the shower is a bit small, but overall these are small complaints and our stay was really good.

We liked the big , spacious room. Location was excellent for what we were doing in Florence. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and meeting points for our excursions.

This hotel had all the benefits of a hotel (attentive staff, cleaning service, breakfast provided) and an Airbnb (a shared kitchen kitchen space and homey feel). There is an elevator but know there are stairs to get up to the elevator, not a problem for us but good to know. An easy walk to any of Florence’s tourist destinations. Once again, the staff was great!
