-located right by the main square and Uffizi museum, convenient to walk to all tourist attractions, but due to central location, can be very noisy and busy -17 min walk from Florence SMN train station and 30+ min walk from Florence Campo di Marte train station -lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby, but mostly touristy

-front desk is not open 24 hours (closes at 5PM) so cannot store luggage after checkout -our room was on the first floor right by the front desk, so it was noisy at times but surprisingly quiet at night

Location is the best, cant ask for any better, view from window anytime was delightful, met our expectations and would recommend for anyone else wanting to stay in Florence

Best location overlooking the Piazza Signoria with the Uffizi. Really great central location to walk to all main attractions. Staff were all really helpful. Really well set out room, very clean. Elevator to the floor below the penthouse, small amount of stairs to penthouse.

Location is amazing! You walk out the door into the Piazza Signoria with the Uffizi next door, Palazzo Vecchio in your view, many shops and restaurants around you in every direction and Ponte Vecchio down the street. Just a few minute walk to the Duomo, Central market and other destinations. It’s a short taxi ride to the S.M. Novella train station if you have too much luggage to walk it. Staff was friendly and price was very affordable. Unit had a small kitchenette as well.

The unit was clean but there was a strange smell in the unit when we arrived. Easily fixed by opening the door and window for a little while, so this really wasn’t an issue.

Perfect location and easy walking distance to everything. Very comfortable and our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the Piazza Signoria.lots of restaurants and cafes in the area.

The only negative was the tub/shower. Like many baths in renovated ancient buildings (i.e in Paris, London. Rome, and Florence), the tub/shower is raised slightly above the floor to accommodate the plumbing. That was the case here, and the tub had a curved bottom and no rubber mat. It’s a higher step up into the tub and a little slippery for a 72 year old person with a little arthritis in the hips. The situation is not the fault of the hotel but a reality of retrofitting an old, historical building. My suggestion to the hotel is to at least provide a non-slip rubber bath mat to improve safety for us older traveleds.

This property is bang in Piazza della signoria, the heart of Firenze close to all the attractions walking distance and even about 12-15 min walk to train station. Rooms are clean, neat, easy access, bed, room is fantastic... the reception is good, staff were nice and friendly, Reza one of the check in staff spoke well and welcomed us... check in process was easy and hassle free. A very good stay indeed close to Uffizi and Arno river. Room Price was little higher but then we were in the heart of history, art, culture, food and the best things in the world... so who cares of prices....

The location was excellent, and very convenient to the Academia, Duomo, Ufizzi and other tourist attractions. Anything else we wanted to do was within a 5- to 20-minute walk, and we felt safe moving about on foot (but do be mindful of the narrow streets shared by pedestrians, bikers and vehicles!).Lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby! We enjoyed the view from our 3rd floor window, looking down over the Piazza Della Signoria; it was vibrant during the day, but quiet at night after about 10. Loved the spaciousness of our apartment, which had a small kitchen and dining area at the opposite end of the bedroom. Office staff was very polite and helpful and cleaning staff kept our room immaculate!

One VERY minor thing that can easily be fixed - the kitchen cupboard doors and refrigerator door slammed closed, so I had to be very intentional about gently closing them.

Wow the view from the room was outstanding! We totally loved this studio apartment right in the centre of Florence! The apartment was spacious and very clean with a large king sized bed and large wardrobe to hang your clothes and store your them. There was air conditioning/heating, which we could control, in the room. Although we were right on the Piazza it wasn't noisy at all. The room was serviced daily which was a bonus! The staff at reception were friendly and helpful We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Relais Piazza Signoria was absolutely the best part of our visit to Florence. The location couldn't have been more perfect. The distance to all the key sites was very close and we didn't have to walk more than 15 minutes to reach any of them with most sites being less than that! The staff at Relais Piazza Signoria were extremely helpful and very lovely people. We will undoubtedly stay at this location whenever we return to Florence and we highly recommend staying here! Our unit was very cozy as if we lived like Florentines but with concierge amenities. We had a full-size kitchen, living space and a large bedroom with its own bathroom. Our stay could not have been more wonderful!

This is a minor complaint, but we noticed that the main entrance door to the building sometimes did not require us to enter the entry code. We were able to open the door without entering a code.

Checking in: The apartments have 9-5 reception, so we had no problem as we arrived before 5 pm. But they gave us clear information how to self-checking in after 5 pm. Location: Can't be better. It is in the city center at the Piazza della Signoria. All the major attractions are in walking distance (2 minutes to Uffizi Galleries, about 8 minutes to Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Palazzo Pitti, 12 minutes to Gelleria dell'Accademia, 10 minutes to Basilica of Santa Croce). Service: We had two separate stays in the apartment, with 1-day gap in between (when we went to Cinque Terre and stayed overnight there). The staff not only let us store our luggage so we can travel light (with only backpack) to Cinque Terre, but they asked us to leave our luggage in the room at the end of the first stay, and they put the luggage in the room assigned to us for our second stay. They also helped arrange a taxi to the airport. Thanks! Utility: The room was spacious and comfort. The elevator is on the ground floor and directly goes to the floor of our room, no stairs involved. Staff: Very friendly and helpful.
