What an amazing view…. Just wow! We had a birthday and the staff was ready to greet us for our celebration ✨ Fabio and his other worker were super attentive and coordinated our late arrival since we had lots of delays so we really appreciate his effective communication 🫶 As far as the stay…. It’s VERY central and you really cannot beat this view! You can walk literally anywhere and most main Florence interest points are right downstairs. 👌 Walking up in this listing was magical everyday. Our group stayed in the penthouse unit and had the Murphy bed and it was nice we could put it up during the day. So great for those who need two beds and a kitchen. Amenities were great from having the elevator to confortable beds and soft towels. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this listing! Thank you for hosting us ☺️🇮🇹

-located right by the main square and Uffizi museum, convenient to walk to all tourist attractions, but due to central location, can be very noisy and busy -17 min walk from Florence SMN train station and 30+ min walk from Florence Campo di Marte train station -lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby, but mostly touristy

-front desk is not open 24 hours (closes at 5PM) so cannot store luggage after checkout -our room was on the first floor right by the front desk, so it was noisy at times but surprisingly quiet at night

Location is the best, cant ask for any better, view from window anytime was delightful, met our expectations and would recommend for anyone else wanting to stay in Florence

The location was right in the centre of Florence and really handy for the Ufizzi Gallery and all nearby attractions, we were only there for a short time so this was ideal as we could pop back to the apartment as and when needed. Also loved the rooftop terrace and spent our last night there enjoying the rooftop views. Would be really good value for 2 couples as our penthouse apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The staff at reception were very nice and helpful, providing a list of recommended places to eat etc.

The lift could fit 3 people or 2 people with luggage, so sometimes that lead to a wait or alternatively using the stairs, however its surprising it had a lift at all due to the quirky nature of the building.

Clean, comfortable and spacious. Location was perfect, right in the middle of all the city and restaurants within walking distance! It is about 10-15 walk away to Firenze Station but the path is relatively smooth and straightforward.

Property is dark in the corridors within building (you will have to turn the lights on) and entrance is hidden between restaurants so it was hard to find. Nonetheless it feels like an apartment which is good for stays. Note that check in is before 5pm so you will have to arrange with the host if you are running late!

This was our second stay at Relais Piazza Signoria, so we knew it to be central and comfortable - and (even 15 years later) it lived up to the expectation. We found the accommodation (penthouse/3 bed) to be very spacious, clean, well maintained and well serviced. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the aircon was great, the balcony (overlooking the upper floors of Palazzo Vecchio and the rear of the Uffizi's west wings) was lovely, etc. All in all we found it a comfortable, cool and quiet "oasis" in what can otherwise sometimes be a fairly touristy spot.

Granted the options are limited in an old/historic building, but not all in our party appreciated the small elevator/lift. There were also some (very minor) issues with the keys/doors. But, once you have the "knack" it's not an issue. Perhaps not everyone will feel comfortable questioning a potential "tailgater" entering from the street - but doesn't impact overall sense of security...

The location is extremely central; it's right in the heart of all the tourism stuff, which was perfect for our first time in the city. It also blocked the sound really well (3rd floor). It felt safe; the entrance area is well lit and populated, and both the building and room are locked. The size of the apartment was good, and the bathroom especially was very clean, functional, and worked well.

The apartment is a little old-fashioned and a bit stained. Next time, we might stay a little further from the tourism center to get a better sense of the city, but it was fine. I didn't end up using the stove, there was no microwave, and the fridge was very small, but it got the job done for 2 nights.

The hotel’s location was perfect—once you step out the door, you’re only about 30 seconds from Palazzo Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery is just a one-minute walk away. It’s right in the heart of the city, and we were incredibly happy with our stay. We had no issues with the elevator; it worked just fine. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The sheets, towels, and bathroom were all spotless, and the beds were really comfortable—both the main bed and the extra bed were soft and cozy. During our stay, the weather was around 37–38°C, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, so we had no trouble at all. I can truly recommend this place to everyone with peace of mind

Just as a very small suggestion, maybe a little bit of decoration could make guests feel even better. All the functional furniture is perfectly fine, but sometimes it’s nice to see a small decorative touch as well.

A great property in a fantastic spot in Florence. 15min walk from the train station. In close proximity to Piazza della Signoria, and a 10 min walk to Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. We stayed in a deluxe studio overlooking the piazza. Small amount of street noise could be heard during the night. Room fitted with blockout curtains. These provide some protection from the street lights. Studios fitted out with new appliances. kitchenette with only a stove top. No dishwasher. Bed comfortable. Aircon worked great. Only one small elevator. Had to regularly wait, especially with suitcase. Otherwise, quicker to walk up the stairs. A good comfortable studio apartment, in a great central location. I would definitely have it on my possible accommodation options in Florence.
