I loved the hotel's location—it couldn't have been better! The decor in the hotel and the room was charming, and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Overall, my stay was fantastic!

Above my room was a kitchen and restaurant. Unfortunately, I could hear everything, from chairs moving to cleaning and cooking. I didn't mind but thought about future customers, such as families with small children or older people, who might complain.

The room is in the most spectacular position right by the Ponte Vecchio. It was an easy 12-minute walk from the train station even with bags. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very good although the coffee left a lot to be desired. Everyone was very accommodating during our stay. The room was quite small but reasonably comfortable.

There was no fridge in the room which was rare for us. There was also no kettle so it was impossible to make tea or to keep fresh milk. We unfortunately did not get a room with a view of the river. The location although very central can be quiet at noisy at night.

The room was beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful and easy to work with. The views from the rooftop and the breakfast dining room were gorgeous. The decor was so pretty. There was an opera at the church next door and with the windows open, we could hear everything! It was like a special gift given to us! I could have much longer!

The eggs were not warm, but everything else was so wonderful, it did not matter. I know if I said something, the staff would have fixed it, so I am not complaining.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hermitage! It is a cozy boutique hotel, tastefully designed, lots of character, with a beautiful restaurant, terrace and view of Ponte Veccio. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. My room was small, but had a lovely view of a small piazza, and perfect for my needs. I met the owner who was welcoming and warm. And the location cannot be beat! I did a lot of researcher, and I am so happy I stayed at Hotel Hermitage. You will too.

Amazing location that’s right next to the Uffizi gallery and all the main attractions. Quirky and homely decor that not only looks characteristic but also really clean and welcoming. You also receive complimentary water which is a huge plus for me.

Sadly my plug adapter was too new for the room i booked, so I had to purchase the old style plug adapter to charge mine and my partner’s phones. Also the shower takes getting used to, as it’s a really old style shower and has a built in jacuzzi setting.

Location is magical, right by the Ponte Vecchio! Easy to walk everywhere, on both sides of the river. Lovely room, period style! Most magnificent roof top restaurant with great food. Breakfast was included and was also lovely! Restaurant staff and breakfast staff extremely polite and charming!

Reception desk could be more welcoming! Also, please note there are a few steps in the building before reaching the lift.

Top location in the heart of Florence (comes with the downside of being noisy at night), this hotel is decorated very nicely and offer amazing breakfast as well as beautiful views over the Ponte Vecchio. All major tourist attraction are nearby and the train station can by reached on foot.

The lift is very small and shared the the rooftop guest which makes it complicated especially during the evening when wait can be long.

Once we found the Hermitage the location was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Location by the Ponte Vecchio bridge is superb. Uffici and the Duomo just a few steps away.

The Hermitage is a hidden gem. So well hidden that it took us three hours to find it. Even the navigation system in the car could not place it. The last 45 minutes on foot in 42° centigrade. Not very healthy. We had to carry our luggage up one floor to the elevator which was very cramped.

Basically, everything is quite satisfactory. The only trouble is the Stairs leading to the elevator to go up to the Reception on Floor 5 and to the rooms. For travellers with many large luggages can be a real challenge. Yet, if the hotel can arrange staffs to assist on the luggage, it would take care of this shortfall.

The location is absolutely perfect, right at the Ponta Vecchio. Within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and shops, and of course, the amazing cultural attractions.

I found it quite noisy, my bedroom window opened down to an alley where on a nightly basis the locals would gather to smoke and drink and shout and fight.
