We liked the atmosphere a lot, the spirit of the antique cozy appartment. The location is perfect, just a few steps by the Ponte Vecchio.

We didn't know that the appartment is on the sixth floor . There were missing sugar and some such basic things in the kitchen.

Location is very good for getting around, though it’s in the heart of the most heavily touristed part of Florence.

The listing on Booking is not accurate. The elevator only reaches the floor below the apartment, and there’s a steep staircase to the apartment. ANYONE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STAY HERE.

No microwave despite description of being fully exiled kitchenette. I notice other reviews indicating mismatch between property description and their stay. After poor communication exchange from the property management, we did not feel comfortable staying here. We asked for cancellation fee minutes after booking (no business loss here), but the no cancelation policy was firm. We forfeited 2 nights stay.

MANY BUGS. I checked in and found the bed covered by creepy bugs. not several bugs, but hundreds. I immediately asked to do something but the owner hung up my phone call. There was no refund, no clearness, no hospitality. Afterall we stayed there for 5mins and booked another hotel located by Duomo which was very nice.
