Perfect location, couldn’t have asked for better. Hotel was very well presented and the addition of complimentary wine & t-shirts in our room as well as a surprise bottle of Asti on my wife’s birthday just made it stand out as a Hotel that really looks after it’s guests. The staff were all very kind, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Stunning views from the rooftop bar, a lovely place to relax and enjoy a coffee or Aperol. Would most definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the near future.

I loved this property. Fantastic location- you can easily walk to the quieter Oltrano or walk to all the sights in the Centro easily. Staff is amazing. They treated me like I was a princess. I had a room in the newer wing and it was huge , very comfortable, had an extra comforter which is unusual, a robe and slippers. Bathrooms in new wing need an update but that is happening this winter. Great breakfast in a stunning room with frescoes and a view of the Arno . The rooftop Deck is fantastic place to have an afternoon glass of wine . Everyone was very helpful and absolutely lovely. Will be back in the spring .

I tended to get lost finding my way around!

I stayed in the single room. Small but perfect for its size, faces the back of uffizi. The breakfast was really good in a stunningly beautiful room. All staff in reception/breakfast are very helpful. Appreciate that it is open 24 hours for late night arrivals / departure. Excellent location next to Uffizzi and Ponte Vecchio.

The bathroom in the single is in need of better upkeep. The toilet is cracked at the back and held together by tape, and there is some unpleasant smell coming from it. The standing shower doors are misaligned and requires fixing. Otherwise the rest of the room is good.

We chose your hotel mainly for the location which was exactley where we wished to be as it was within walking distance of all the sites we wanted to see. All of your facilities were to a standard above what we expexted and the staff were very helpful with a couple of small requests we made. There was one small mix up with the payment for parking when we checked out as it appeared that the card reader used for the parking was not working. After 2 attempts we decided to add it to our account with your Hotel. Once we got home I looked at my card account and noticed that we had paid both the car parking people and also your hotel on their behalf. I called the reception and spoke with Eric who was understanding of what had happened and said that once the car parking people notice thay have been paid twice they would refund the money back into my card account. He also stated that if this did not happen automatically within 5 to 7 days to then get back in touch with him and he woud follow up with the car parking people. I thought that Eric gave me a very clear explanation of what to do and the service he gave me was exceptional. I intend to contact Eric once the matter is sorted to thank him personally.

There was nothing NOT to like.

The location of the hotel was excellent, it was within walking distance of virtually everything. fantastic restaurants close by. The breakfast area was very well presented with great service, loved the cappuccino's every morning. We had actually booked a standard room for a couple of days and then a suite for the remaining, as suite was not available for the dates. The hotel however put us in a suite from day one, unexpected but very much appreciated. Room was excellent overlooking the Centro Storico and Ponte Vecchio. excellent job.

The location was perfecto! 15-minute walk from the train station, the Arno River right outside the hotel entrance, the Ponte Vecchio and The Uffizi literally to the right and left of the hotel respectively. The breakfast had numerous choices including eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon, cereal, yogurt, pastry, coffee/cappuccino, juice/water, cheese selection, etc. The rooftop bar was heavenly! Great place to end the day after doing touristy stuff walking around Firenze, chill out, have a “beverage” and take in the view overlooking the Arno. We had sporadic light rain so it was outstanding that the rooftop had an awning they could open and close so we could stay outdoors even when a rain cloud came through. This is truly a ****S (S=Superior) hotel. Excellent in-room amenities including toiletries, slippers, robes, split of red wine, flat screen TVs, in-room A/C and heat control, comfortable bed and bedding, overall a modern spacious room.

We chose the larger room, suite with bedroom, living room sitting area and desk, which did not state in the description if it did or did not have a view. I expected some sort of a view not an interior room with no view except rooftops. Anyway, initially I was not happy and spoke to the front desk about a room change. As it turned out we were out most of the day and the the spacious room and it’s upscale furnishings was what we truly enjoyed and did not miss the view especially because we had the rooftop bar available to us.

This is our second year in a row staying at the Orafi because we love its location, staff and amenities. The room was spacious, had everything we needed. The reception areas are beautiful, and we found it nice to be able to take an afternoon dinner Drink down to the sitting area near the breakfast room, and just relax on a chilly rainy night. The rooftop bar area is beautiful, although we did not have any food or drinks there because their prices are exorbitant. However, the view is wonderful, and there is a large area for many guests. Everything about the hotel feels lovely. The breakfast is excellent, and Lorenzo, who has been at the hotel for 13 years,is so friendly, efficient and quick to make sure all is well. Everyone at The front desk staff, (except for one gentlemen, who never did acknowledge us as we came and went from the hotel; he always had his head down looking at paperwork?) was very friendly and greeted us as we entered or departed each day. The hotel has a welcoming feeling which is not always the case for a larger accommodation.

Unfortunately we were not able to get a room with a view of the Arno this year. That was too bad because our room had a view only of some rooftops, which was disappointing. Next year, we will need to book earlier because the river view is outstanding.

This was the perfect location for our first visit to Florence. Great location a stone's throw from Ponte Vecchio, 20 mins walk from train station and right in the heart of everything to see in the city centre. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious and the staff very friendly. I had 2 lovely sweets on my pillow each day on return and the room was beautiful. There was a selection of different pillows to choose from to suit your liking and the bed linen was very cosy. My wife and I would recommend to anyone!

If I had to pick anything, the bed was a bit firm for my liking but my wife liked it and the shower was very small but had good water pressure. Really couldn't think of another thing.

Everything was really lovely. We had a view of the Arno and our Executive room was perfect, comfortable and spacious with everything we needed and a super bathroom. Knowing it was my birthday, the hotel placed a bottle of pink fizz in our room which was a lovely surprise. The rooftop bar had a superb view of the Duomo. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast had many choices served in a beautiful room, and the hotel's location couldn't have been more central. The Christmas decs went up during our stay and the hotel looked gorgeous.

The basin plugs in our bathroom did not close adequately, and the view from our window was slightly marred by some underpants on the tiles just below!

Big room, comfortable bathroom with shower, very nice and helpful people, very clean, top location just between gli Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio - small but very nice terrace on top of the building. The hotel indicated to us some very good restaurants we would not have found ourselves and was able to find a solution for reaching the airport despite the strike of the taxis the day we left.

Bed too hard - seems usual in Italy to have such, but not very comfortable for my back. The hotel may propose to customers like me an additional mattress ("surmatelas" in French).
