The location is right in the center of MIlan tourist area - near the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Piazzas. The room we were assigned was spacious - this is room 404. Bathroom clean and beds comfy. We also had a sofa. Delighted by the welcome snack (delicious biscotti from Leonardo) and drinks (water and wine). Warm welcome by the front-desk (Filipina-Indian) who gave us restaurant recos. The hotel is easy access to taxis as well. Hotel can call a taxi for guests and they will use official taxis of Florence. Taxis arrive quickly. Breakfast is value for money at 18 euros per person - cold and hot selections in the buffet. Beautiful breakfast view at the top floor. Dining out in cafes around and outside the hotel will cost more than 18 euros. The lady at breakfast who served and welcomed guests was so warm and attentive. Kudos to her!

Exceeded expectations so can't say anything negative.

The room was clean, and the front desk staff was SO kind. The location is near perfect (walkable to/from all the main sights and activities in Florence), and the breakfast selection is incredible - not to mention it's served on the terrace with a stunning view of the city.

The elevator is really tiny - it's a tight squeeze for two people with luggage. To turn on the lights in the room, you must insert the room key into the box on the wall near the door- this wasn't very clear and we had to ask the front desk how to turn the lights on in our room (they were very kind and once we figured it out, all was well).

Perfectly located corner property close to everything. Modernized Boutique hotel with English speaking staff who were kind and very helpful. Room seemed new well maintained and very clean. Good AC, good shower and TV with a few English speaking US news channels and MTV. Other Language channels too. Highlight was morning breakfast 730-1030 on the 7th floor. Laura ( pronounced Lawda) was exceptional and worked tirelessly to keep things tidy and stocked. Coffee and eggs made to order along with dairy and a lot of sweet and savory items buffet style.

Old style wall vacuum hose type blow dryer good for short or very thin hair And found the shower floor to be very slippery so I put a hand towel down when showering.

I liked being on a vibrant street and having a balcony.. There are wonderful fast food places nearby and, the balcony was a perfect place to relax. Sound proofing isn't perfect, but if the neighbours are quiet, it's not a problem. We had to leave very early and the overnight concierge managed, with much difficulty, to secure a cab for us.

There was a worrysome disturbance in the middle of our last night in the room above. Some security measures would have been appropriate, but fortunately, things died down. Regardless, given the location, the price of the hotel and star rating, I think overnight security should be improved to ensure comfort and safety of the guests. The cab booked for 5:30am and guaranteed by the hotel staff did not arrive.

Breakfast was good, the lady in the kitchen was very nice, and when a taxi was needed the front desk responded immediately. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the hotel's location is the best. You are just right there to take a stroll to go anywhere.

The bathroom shower needs to be safe for everybody. The floor is VERY slippery and it could be very dangerous to people, specially for older people. The construction people outside next to our room never respected the times to start or to finish the works day, they were pounding even at 2 am

The central location makes vsiting Florence a doddle. The bedroom, an upgrade, was larger than we had expected. Although bottled water was supplied, the tap water was cool and delicious. Double4 glazzing provided quiet sleep. The 7th floor breakfast room was charming, affording lovely views. Being late November, the roof was close, yet still allowed lovely rooftop views. The breakfast itself, buffet style, with eggs etc. cooked to order, was very good indeed, as was the service.

We struggled to secure a spare loo-roll. There was a kettle and a minimal amount of tea/coffee, but no milk, despite the room having a fridge. The toaster, as with every hotel in the world, is a pain. The reception staff seemed a little short of knowledge..."General strike?...What General strike" ! Perhaps that may say more about Italy than the staff.

Great location. No bells and whistles. Basic but completely fine. Staff placed our rooms side by side as requested which was lovely. Rooftop breakfast was lovely. Staff were very accomodating with food offering.

The lady behind the counter seemed stressed and flustered. Air conditioning unit in one of our rooms was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on. Made for a hot night in July. TV’s didn’t work. We only stayed one night so didn’t bother to hassle the staff. If we would have stayed longer, we would have.

The hotel is not huge, but every little detail made it comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were great. We were greeted by Mario that helped us navigate the main attractions and offered some good info on restaurants. Laura was the server for breakfast and she was amazing, always remembered what we wanted before we even asked. The hotel is very well located a block away from Ponte Vecchio and walking distance from main attractions. We loved it.

Easy check in and out. Clean and comfortable bed Friendly and accomodating staff. We arrived 2 hours early, but they let us rest at their lounge while waiting for the room. Location is perfect! Closed to anywhere we wanted to go. They have bikes that guests can borrow; but we were not able to use it; as it was too hot that day and rained the next day. Breakfast was unexpectedly good! Awesome selection- fresh breads, pastries, cakes, cold cuts, cook to order eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt, fruit jiuces, nice coffee

This was a last minute booking as we got locked out of our AirB&B. This was the closest hotel. I am so glad we were able to stay here. I wish I could have canceled the apartment and stayed the rest of the time in Florence at this hotel. It had a cute balcony and was clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They pointed us the right direction for the market and other unexpected needs that popped up due to our unfortunate predicament. I am grateful to the kindness of the staff!
