Perfect location to walk out and explore city center. Great value in terms of space for a family, while hotels can offer only 25m2. I asked for a crib and got one plus towels, soap and some kids supplements. Very helpful. Kitchen is fully supplied with pans, dishes, cutlery etc.

5 stairs to apartment can be really exhausting. Floor was not really clean, my kid had dirty pants after crawling on it. Air conditioners on both floors broke on a first day. Next day some technicians had to come to our apartment, which is irritating.

The hosts were fantastic, the suite was immaculate, the location is just enough away from the main hustle of town but perfectly primed to access it if needed. In high season it provided a necessary escape from the chaos. I loved the split level suite, the amenities, the friendliness of Marco and Alessio, and while it's an old building with LOTS of stairs, they helped us with our bags - a nice touch. It's a short walk from the main station, there's really no need for a taxi if you take the right route - there in 10-12 minutes. Also did not realise you got a turndown service and cleaners in the apartment, it's much more like a hotel in that respect. The cleaners were lovely and super considerate and efficient. The AC worked a dream, the light poured in from the windows but you had blackout curtains if needed. Everything was thought of. It's clear to see why this place is rated so highly, a miracle we managed to snag it with a week to go for our trip - it made the trip so much better than anything I could've imagined.

The property is amazing. The room was just what we needed for the 3 of us. The location is absolutely perfect. Quiet room. The owner is very helpful. Everything is 5 minutes from the door!

We stayed at over 13 properties during our trip and like all the other properties the bathroom does not have a venting fan so moisture and mold are a problem. It is not unique to this property(we stayed at places that were over 1,000 euros a night and they also have mold in the grouts) I am picky about mold. The property is modern and renovated. I just wish that there hadn't been any mold.

That was a wonderful stay in the center of Florence. Everything was perfect! Marco, the host, was on top of everything and ready to help anytime. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was spotless, with fantastic decoration, and a lovely style but still keeping the old palazzo charm. Safe overnight parking (a different company) is literally across the street. Everything you need to visit is within a 10-15 minute walk. Supermarket and bakeries are a couple minutes away. We highly recommend Canto degli Scali for a family stay in Toscana.

The apartment is gorgeous and located a stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio yet on a quiet street. It couldn't have been nicer. We met the owner, Marco, and he was so helpful and very nice. If I were to come to Florence again - and I hope I do - I would stay here.

I didn't like that we had only one night there before we had to leave! Our flight back to the US was the next day but I could have easily stayed there for a month.

Wonderful location for historic Florence. Our apartment was tow stories in a medieval tower of a monastery. Newly renovated with huge windows, wonderful views nd endless charm. Only downside was 89 stairs from the street to our bedroom - the last 25 being up a narrow, twisting, steep, medieval staircase. And the bathroom was adjacent to our living room - one floor beneath our bedroom. As an added benefit, the restaurant below the "hotel" was fabulous.

The hotel apartment was just what we wanted for the start of our visit. We wanted just a couple of days in Florence so this was perfect. Small kitchen allowed us to not have to eat out every meal. Fantastic location for wandering around. They even helped us get transportation from the airport--even with a lot of delays due to flight issues. Very accommodating to our chaos. Were very responsive to any questions (where are the dishes stored?) or issues.

Nothing that could be helped, but the stairs to the second sleeping area is very narrow!

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous! The master bedroom is a romantic dream! The furniture, decor, candles, bed, full length mirror, armoires, high ceilings, sound proof. The location is perfect. So close to all major sights and designer stores for shopping. The property manager Alessio (not sure of the spelling) was extremely kind, helpful, & willing to give us a lot of tips & useful information.

There is no bathroom in the master bedroom. The only bathroom is located at the front entrance of the apartment, on the opposite side of the bedroom. When in the bedroom, we had to walk all around to the opposite side of the apartment to use the bathroom. In the kitchen there were no napkins or paper towels.

The location was great, it was a safe area for female travelers. The property was very spacious with all the needed facilities.

The shower drain was getting clogged after 1 minute so you had to stop the water to let it drain and then continue showering. In addition, it would have been nice to have a bidet in the toilet.

The bedroom full of windows was an absolute delight, it was a joy to wake up in everyday. Excellent aircon, perfect respite from the heat of the city. Perfectly located to attractions and restaurants. Staff were so friendly and helpful, will definitely stay here again.
