Great location, nice atmosphere and decor

No elevator and front desk staff did not offer to help with luggage so we had to carry it up to the third floor by ourselves

We loved that it was so unusual. We like quirky! The room was a great size and the shutters kept out the light. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was lovely and had something for everyone with cereal, yoghurt, fruit, meats, omelette, pastries & cake. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage so we could get some lunch before check in. Live music outside in the market square after the market leaves. We had opera singers, cello & violinists as well as larger ensembles. The closeness to the main centre was perfect as only a 5-10 minute walk. River was also only 5 mins away. Can recommend this hotel and the mama mia restaurant below. The food was lovely there. We would stay again

Just bear in mind that the live music can go on until 10.30pm and there is no soundproofing. There is also an Irish pub around the corner has a very late kick out at the weekend. We are light sleepers but found that earplugs solved this issue. We were a little uncertain about using the shower over the bath so we had baths mostly.

The location was amazing within the historic center of Florence. Every cultural museum/sight was within walking distance. The decor is definitely different—kind of artsy so no Italian frescos on the walls. It’s clean & comfortable. Breakfast is very European & lovely. Staff was helpful and assisted in arranging a taxi for us to get to the airport.

It’s without a lift so you walk 4 flights of stairs; definitely not fun with luggage. It’s right next to the Mercato Nuovo which means lots of noise from crowds of tourists during the day & lots of loud young adults to the wee hours (Irish Pub is right there). BUT location is worth it!!

Nice accommodation with a special style. Excellent location in the hart of Firenze.

Water problems in all rooms we used: Room 1: water flow of the shower was too small. Room 6: It was impossible to contain the water of the shower in the bath tub. Room 7: The water of the shower flowed outside the shower area.

The location was very central steps away from everything, the decor was exceptional, the breakfast was very good with cappucinos made by the staff who was helpful (kept our luggage, called a taxi and informed us properly for our stay).

The only very little thing was to initially find the location with google map that put you on the wrong side of the building so you need to walk to Mercato Nuevo (just 10-15 steps) and you then see it very well (close to the Porcello statue in the market) there is even a rhino head by the door (see picture).

Nice place to stay. Once we figured out where to go, the check in was easy. Our room was on the third floor and there were not elevators. The breakfast was wonderful - just enough variety, and cappuccinos made to order ! The room was cute, had two windows, and was at the end of the hallway. You could not hear people talking in the room next door. We felt safe in this area. There are a lot of people in the market, however, the venue was secure, the rooms upstairs. There were lots of things to see / shop/ eat / drink within 10 minute walk. One night we spent some time in the lounge area - it was just the right size for the two of us to stay up talking, while enjoying a little Chianti !

The neighborhood is the leather market square and there are folks setting up early in the morning and later in the evening. There was a decent amount of set up noise. Finding the venue was a bit challenging. We walked around in circles trying to match up our google map with the gps.

Superbly located in the heart of the old town only a few minutes walk from major sites. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast superb. All day help yourself to free tea, coffee, wine and limoncello. Really couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit. Room 6 with king bed and bath inside the room were exceptional. Thank you for such an amazing stay😃😃❤️

Didn’t bother us, but you do hear the street vendors dragging their carts to and from the market areas at half past five in the morning. But you’ll hear them wherever you stay in Florence. There’s no lift so you will need to carry your suitcases up two flights of stairs (although the staff will help).

Perfect location for these hot summer days. You can just take a break in your climatized room. The host is absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend.

If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are a must. The location is in the hustle and bustle of the city, right next to a market that is setup every morning from 5 on.

Breakfast was a good choice of cold Fruit salad , yoghurts, selection of hams , omelette and pastries to suit all tastes. Access to communal coffee station and kitchen for guest use. The accommodation was stylish and chic slightly worn in places but no way was a reflection on the overall style and vibe of the hotel . The location is 10/10 for ease of access to the city. And great when wanting to drop of shopping ! Staff were accommodating and welcoming.

Nothing comes to mind so that’s a resounding positive from us !

The location was perfect, close to all the sights and had a good bar/restaurant right outside the front door. The square was very lively, even at night but if you close the shutters there was no noise in the room. The breakfast was also very good for a continental option

It was difficult to locate because of the markets in the square but if you find the boar (that everyone rubs the nose of) just look to the left and its right there. The room was dark if the shutters were closed.
