There are so many great things about this property, don’t even know where to begin. The location is beyond perfect! Everything that you would need, including restaurants, shopping, historic sites are under a 12 minute walk, with most things, five minutes or less. All of the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The included breakfast was beautiful, delicious, and a great start to our day.

Everything was great! Just know, that if you have mobility issues, make sure you are OK with two flights of stairs. It was fine for us, we enjoyed the cardio!

This is a great place to stay in the middle of Florence! This bed and breakfast is located just two minutes walking distance from the Duomo so great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom had an enclosed shower which we really appreciated after some wet experiences in other hotels. Breakfast was really good and Antonio was kind enough to teach us some Italian :). (Thank you Antonio!) Just be aware that there are four flights of stairs to climb to get to the hotel, but staff is there to help you with your luggage. Would definitely stay here again if we ever get a chance to return to Florence

Exquisite! I felt at a gorgeous little palace! Amazing details!

The location was perfect. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was small, as expected for a centrally located hotel room, but big enough for easy movement.

The lights were confusing.

If you're looking for authenticity, convenience, comfort, and charm, this is the place to stay in Florence. Casa Thiele all Signoria is in the absolute heart of the historic district. Just around the corner from Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Galleria Uffizi, and within easy walking distance of just about any other site you'd want to visit in Florence. You only need to step inside to see that Casa Thiele was designed with the true eye of an artists. Furnishings throughout are unique, no-nonsense, beautiful and comfortable. Each room is one-of-a-kind. Breakfasts are generous and delicious. The staff couldn't be nicer. This was our second visit; I consider this place a true "find." For a bird's eye view over Florence's main pedestrian thoroughfare, ask for a room overlooking via Calzaiuoli (where, by the way, you'll find countless inviting shops). For a superbly quiet hideaway, ask for a room away from the street. Please note: This hotel occupies two floors in an ancient Palazzo. There is no elevator. But you WILL have help with your luggage. The stairs are worth the climb. For sure!

I suppose I could mention street noise. But that would be a mistake because if we hadn't heard it coming, we would have missed the incredible parade (medieval costumes and instruments) that went by unexpectedly one afternoon!

Breakfast was okay but quite basic and the same thing each morning. With such a simple setup it would be nice to have breakfast delivered to the rooms versus having to select a time to sit in the common area. Also, consider some hot options like eggs, bacon, or similar.

The stairs but nothing you can do about this! And you mention it in the listing. For the room we were in, the street noise is quite invasive so perhaps looking at other window treatments to help reduce the noise if possible or provide a sound machine with brown noise. The wifi single is very weak and not possible to work or actually use during the stay. Invest in better routers or consider putting extenders in each room.

Our room was very nice facing the street but with the windows closed , it was very quiet. The shower was amazing , big and great water pressure . The bed was very comfortable. The room was very spacious and nice ambiance .

We had a difficult time finding it even though the GPS kept saying you have arrived. The location is fantastic , easy walking distance to everything. Once the HPS says you have arrived , look for the green door.🤣 there are quite a number of steps but no issues .

The location is perfect - right next to the Piazza and walking distance to all the sites. For being so close to everything, the rooms were very quiet. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean and well appointed.

Carrying the luggage up the 3 flights of stairs was difficult - but we knew this before we arrived. There is no elevator - so it is a workout - but well worth staying if you don't have any mobility issues.

The room was excellent! The bed was very comfortable and it was set up perfectly! The bathroom was large with a huge shower and plenty of hot water! Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were all very helpful. The location was fabulous! Daniel got a cab for us one day, our rooms were cleaned each day, and Antonio was very personable and talked with us after he served us breakfast each day.

The only downside was that there was no lift for when we brought suitcases up. But this would not deter me from staying here or recommending this hotel.

The room was lovely. Clean and Inviting! The location was perfect! Restaurants, shopping, museums, and so much more all within walking distance; just steps away. And the staff.... wow!! .Antonio and Samuel were fantastic! Every morning Antonio served us a delicious breakfast. And Samuel was so helpful. Both were excellent hosts!
