The location was amazing and the view was great. It was a good sized room and everything was clean. Instructions for arriving and checking in were really helpful and the staff were all kind and polite

The room was absolutely functional and I'm pleased we stayed. I'd definitely return but I'd love to see a few minor improvements; We could only find 2 plug sockets and we couldn't use the plug adapter in one of them, so we struggled to charge our phones etc. The shower facilities need a little attention, the shower head didn't work properly and you couldn't adjust the pressure. It took a long time to warm up but it did get there and you could shower. The extra toilet functions didn't work - but normal flushing was fine. No kettle or tea/coffee station.

Amazing location right next to the Pontevecchio and quick walk to other sites. Staff friendly and helpful. While our room was not the best, the balcony room with bridge views was amazing (where our daughter stayed!)

Our particular room was tiny and right opposite the reception so was noisy at times with guests coming and going. (the rest of the family were in fabulous rooms!) There were no window coverings so at night the light from the street and the early morning sun was annoying. Being on a very busy street there was a fair bit of noise from late night revellers.

It was a beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. We stayed in a room with a balcony, and the view of the Arno River was absolutely charming. Waking up in the mornings and opening the balcony door to that view was such a cool experience for a tourist. We especially enjoyed this amazing view at night. I believe this is one of the best hotels in Florence in terms of value for money. We were able to walk everywhere, and when we got tired from the crowds, we would stop by the hotel to rest. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends visiting Florence. Contrary to some reviews, I didn’t find the room too small — the high ceilings make it feel more spacious. 5/5!

We got the apartment. We were shocked by the news we were on the opposite side from the actual hotel check in but it ended up being for the better cause we enjoyed being on that side best. They texted every day to ask if we wanted the apartment cleaned which was nice.

The shower is very very very tight as well as the kitchen. I was really looking forward to getting stuff at the market and making a small meal for us one night but we couldn't do that because it was just so tight. Otherwise it was fine !

We loved this property in Florence. The location was everything and the staff were very nice. The elevator made it easy getting all our luggage there. With the 3 doors before your in your room made it feel very safe. Lots of great shops literally as soon as you walk out of the building. The block out curtains made it easy to sleep in and we found the bed really comfortable.

It was noisy at night due to people gathering outside because it is in such a central location.

Great location, right on the river overlooking Pontevecchio. Room was good, A/C was great, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Second floor, but there is a lift. A little noise from the nightlife of the surrounding area, a great guitar and vocal performance somewhere further along the river… I count it as a positive, some may consider it a negative.

A little difficult to find… and had to walk from garage to hotel with luggage. Not far, just across the Pontevecchio. More a B&B than a hotel but they do have a reception desk but only seems to be staffed during check in/out. Bathroom is compact but well done. Secure location. Only thing the room really lacked was a chair!

The owners/staff were most helpful and very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view across the river from our balcony. The location was perfect as base for exploring Florence, situated literally just a few yards away from the Uffizi.

There was a bit of noise outside during the early hours with various waste collections, cleaning, and vendors pulling their carts; inevitable in such a location.

Very central, and the family/owners were very accommodating! They let us store our bags after check out so we could continue to explore. The room is basic but it is a clean, well lighted place. Great for a place to safely stay where you don’t need much from a hotel.

The bed linens were a little scarce but it made sense given the heat of July. I would have appreciated some information about driving into the city ahead of time- we couldn’t drop our bags before parking which was slightly inconvenient but not terrible given how close the parking garage was.

Only thing knowing we had a internal room (which we knew previously before our stay and was happy with) the light down stairs I think was reception room was left on both nights which shined into our bedroom even with our blinds closed so it was quite bright when trying to fall asleep. Hot water would run out quite quickly

Having sent an email to ask if my room had a view of the pontevecchio I received a couple if emails saying yes it does. Only to find it does not as per picture in the top right hand corner is a tiny bit if it. Also there is a large arch in the way and to look out I have 2 stone steps to climb to open the windows as per picture of the room. I was told by a member of staff that you can book it on line. There was no option on booking.com to do this. I only sent emails thru booking.com to ask and clarify my room had that view. A reply saying all rooms have view. This not so as per my picture. I was told only balconies have the view. So request a balcony and get that confirmed. However this did not distract my short break. As I only had to walk downstairs into the street to see it.
