Spectacular location almost inside the Duoma. Modern rooms inside an older building. Only real donwnside is the amount of stairs to get to the rooms if the old time elevator is not available and it would be helpful to have more prominent signage to find the location within the building. B&B is on floor "2", but it is about 5 flights of stairs to walk up.

Absolutely loved the location....couldn't have been better and at a relatively reasonable cost given the location and view of the Duomo from the room. It is also in close walking distance to the Pizza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. Before getting there, we were advised that, due to air conditioning issues, they moved us from our deluxe room to a superior room with view of Duomo. We were fortunate to get this beautiful room that was very clean and with beautiful gold trim and purple colors. The twin beds we requested were comfortable. We liked the newness of the bathroom, esp the nice wide ledge where we could put our stuff. Breakfast was included, but we only opted to use it 2 out of the 3 days we stayed there. Since the dining room was under renovation, Alejandra was kind enough to run for groceries and provide us with everything we asked for the night before (juices, water bottles, bananas, yogurts, bread, meat, cheese). Loved that we could see the Duomo clearly from the rooftop.

The room door could only open partially due to what I believe is a defect with the door (should be easy fix by trimming it down so the bottom doesn run into the floor). Bigger folks may not get through the door too well.

Appartment was located at the central square of Florence, just by the Duomo. Rooftop was another way to enjoy the Duomo to yourself. Location is conveninent to most sights in the city, highly recommended for those exploring the city for the first time, whether it is to areas across the bridge, or the train station. All key areas of interest are walkable. which is amazing. The streets below is very busy tourist and shopping district. However, it was quiet once you close the windows. Room was spacious. Toilet was clean and well kept. Note there are specific reception hours only though it didn't impact our stay.

This is the most beautiful B&B I have ever seen! We had Duomo room, beautiful view, even though it is in the middle of the Duomo centre, the windows are very well sealed you can't hear outside! Room was big and clean, cleaning is daily, bed is big enough for 2 adults and 1 child ( ours is 1 year old), staff is very nice and friendly, coffee is delicious and you have complementary one bottle of water at your arrival. Also it is very close to Santa Maria Novella train station( 5'to 10' walk)

Although is delicious, Breakfast is very basic.

The room was as quiet as a tomb, in spite of being located right on the square next to the Duomo. It was evident that the property managers had made a very strong effort to provide a calm, quiet environment for their guests. There were multiple sound-proof doors between the public areas and the room itself, as well as signs reminding other guests to be quiet. This was really appreciated and yielded a premium feel to the stay. There were a few surprising lapses in maintenance, however. The bottom of the room door rubbed on the tile floor when opened about a third of the way, making it a bit clumsy to enter or leave the room. There were a couple of large and ugly chips on the toilet seat and toilet seat cover that don’t belong in a $400/night bathroom. The safe was clumsy to operate and not up to the standard expected in a room even half the cost, the heat/AC was inoperative or at least incomprehensible, however, everything was clean, the shower was easy to operate and had plenty of hot water, the bed was very comfortable, and there wasn’t the hint of noise coming through the walls, ceiling, floor, or the double-pane windows, a tremendous accomplishment, considering that there were probably 5 to 10,000 people right outside making noise. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. In addition to the above the guests have access to a roof-top terrance with spectacular views of the floodlit Duomo and Bell Tower. On our first night we had the terrace to ourselves and enjoyed it immensely. The next night a group of young people (guests? other building occupants?), were gathered for drinks, so usefulness of this perk may vary. Anyway, overall the experience was closer to a 10 than a 9.

Honestly, this place was just amazing. The location is great, the people are welcoming, the rooms are big and super clean ( really important for me!), and it looks so authentique and special. it wasn’t noisy even though it is really in the center of everything! I am so so so happy for having stayed here.

Nothing really! It would be maybe nice to have some included drinks in the room instead of having to pay for them, but that’s not so important

We liked everything. Carol (Carolina) was amazing! Very attentive, friendly, helpful, excellent service. This is my second time in Florence and this location cannot be better. A short walk to everywhere literally! Room was very clean, nicely decorated and spacious with good view. Mattress was firm and linens were great. It was not noisy at all. I will definitely go back. There’s a cool space in the rooftop to chill and have a glass of wine during sunset.

I loved the location! It was close to everything and the fact that we were right across from the Duomo made it extra special.

The smell from the elevator shaft was not pleasant and the use of the rooftop was really not highlighted. Some of the other hotels provided their guests wine and light refreshments at the rooftop just before sunset - a brilliant idea. We would have paid extra for such a service and it is a wonderful idea given the location.

Flexible with our late check-in and very friendly staff! Perfect location for many main tourist attractions in Florence and easy walking distance from the train, even with luggage. The terrace was beautiful and able to accommodate several couples if necessary. Host was able to store our luggage after check-out so we could continue exploring the city until our next train and had no problem with us stopping in and dropping stuff off/picking stuff up multiple times from our stored luggage. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to return!

The proximity was amazing - really close to the bus and train station and literally next to the main attractions. Very professional operator that was very accommodating. The aircon works amazingly and during summer it's a bonus. We had a late check in and instructions were very clear. Room was spacious and beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.
