Incredible stay with a beautiful view of the duomo and square. I absolutely loved the location and waking up to the cathedral bells in the morning. I traveled solo and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

This did not bother me but I think it's important to note that this location is in the main square and there are restaurants/bars that draw a crowd in the evening. If you are sensitive to sound, you will need to close the window or I suggest seeking a place that is off the square.

Excellent choice for a stay in Firenze. The owners were very helpful , gave us tips on the city, booked a table for us in a restaurant and helped us with the check in which was late afternoon. The room is situated in a nicely renovated building overlooking Duomo, which made it a perfect place to start our days since it was in the center. The room was spacious, very clean and with a great view, which made our stay even better , while the first day was raining so we took our coffee in the room but with a great view! Thanks for everything and we will definitely come back!

Perfect location—right in the heart of Florence, just steps away from the Duomo, which took our breath away from sunrise to moonlight. One magical evening, we even witnessed people from all over the world gathered in front of the Duomo, singing, playing violins and dancing together under the stars. It was A Florence View we’ll cherish forever. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Giuliana. She greeted us with such kindness and shared wonderful insights about Florence. Her recommendations for purchasing antique paintings were incredibly helpful.

We stayed for 2 nights in A Florence View during Easter and it was amazing! • Lovely, helpful hosts. They sent us all important information ahead of time, advised on places to visit and eat at. • Location - unbeatable. Walking distance to all key attractions, train station, restaurants, bars and gelaterias. Amazing view on the cathedral - we could admire Easter Sunday festivities without even leaving our room - amazing. • The room was clean, tidy and cozy. There was everything we needed - tea, coffee, glasses, toiletries, hair dryer etc.

The location is impeccable. I had never been to Florence before, and as I looked out my window, I was transported by the view. All around me were outside tables to enjoy a glass of wine, a cappuccino, a meal. Horse-drawn carriages if you fancied a ride through the streets. Vendors selling souvenirs and artists rendering paintings. The bed was very comfortable, there was an electric kettle with coffee and tea, immaculate bathroom with great shower and water pressure. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe.

If you are early to bed, close the windows! Florence does not sleep here until after 12 pm. If you have difficulty with several flights of steps, you might need to reconsider, though the owners are very helpful with luggage. Thank you, Mrs Giuliana, for a perfect stay.

We had an exceptional stay at the bed-and-breakfast in Florence! The location couldn't be better, right in front of the Duomo and perfectly situated for exploring all the main attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a wonderful experience during our stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while experiencing the beauty of Florence. Highly recommend this charming spot to anyone visiting the city!

The location was spectacular, the view was unmatched, looking right out on to the Baptistry. As an Irish couple it was also quite nice having the Irish bar as our neighbours! The hosts were so sweet and helpful, particularly Leonardo who marked off all the best things to do on a map including a yummy lunch in Guidos and a very fancy breakfast in Cafe Gillé. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and good storage for clothes. Fair pricing for the mini bar and free tea and coffee was a very nice touch.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Giuliana (the owner) was unbelievably kind during our stay, a level of hospitality and thoughtfulness we saw nowhere else in the places we stayed at in Italy or Austria. This alone elevated our experience above just being a place to stay. She offered great advice on things to do and see in Florence and accommodated for our awkward schedule. The room was incredibly spacious for a place right off the square. The place was clean, management was commutative, the view was great, the location was extremely convenient and perfectly centered in the city, and there were even little biscuits and coffee in the room for us. If we ever return to Florence, we most certainly will stay here again! Very glad we decided to stay here in a cozy B&B instead of a large, faceless hotel with no soul!

The views and distance to the Duomo were simply breathtaking. It was incredibly convenient to get around the city and everything is within a 10-15min walk. Giuliana was absolutely amazing and recommended many places to us, she even set us up with a map of our own. We also had several heavy luggages and her staff helped us bring them up the stairs to our room. We also left something behind during our stay and she helped ship it back to us. The service and location are truly unbeatable. Highly recommend!!

Only thing to note is that due to the proximity to the square, noise can be a little bit loud at night.

Location was unbelievable just in front of the Baptismal of the Dumuo Cathedral. A bit noisy at night as the 2 bars next door stayed open until 1:30 AM. There are quieter rooms overlooking the alley though. Giuliana was excellent. Stayed for a late morning check-in. Answered the telephone promptly to get directions and answer questions.

Room cleaning did not replenish the Cappuccino mix for morning coffee on either mornings. We had to ask. Also the toilet paper was not replenished and we ran out during the night. Not a good thing. Shampoo was likewise not replaced on the third day. Thankfully we bring some of out own.
