The Hotel is in the best possible position, facing the dome square and the Rennaissance Battisterio (it‘s really worth taking the rooms with a view!) -just perfect! Nice, very clean and charming little B&B in the third floor of an ancient building wirh very friendly staff- special thanks to molto gentile Marcello, who checked us in and made us feel „at home“, also taking time for giving us great recommendations what to see, where to go and where to dine etc. based on a city map he provides for the guests- perfect! spacious room, great shower, warm and cosy also at chilly february evenings, nice little breakfast in a stylish little breakfast room (Italian style with sweets, croissants plus some international items) - great also the little charming terrace at 4th floor! 100 percent great stay, we will be back soon!

Marcello at the front desk was beyond exceptional! He made my trip to Florence unforgettable with his kindness and recommendations. On top of that the room had everything I needed and was comfortable. I would've paid much more just for that view and the rooftop terrace. And to my surprise the breakfast had so many options and was delicious. The easy access, unbeatable location. Amazing value!!! I would go back to Florence just to stay here and say hi to Marcello!

I made a mistake when I made the reservation and reserved a room for one person instead of two. The staff could not have been more helpful. They found us a room in a different hotel for the night and even walked us there and helped with our luggage. They gave us a wonderful overview if the city and made suggestions for lots of great things to do. We were able to stay at this hotel on our last night and it did not disappoint. The view was spectacular with the Duomo right outside of our window. The only downside was the Duomo bells sounding off at 7am.!

Waking up and seeing the cathedral out the window! What an incredible location! The staff was beyond kind! Gave great suggestions for restaurants and gelato! Finally an actual breakfast with fruit and eggs and not just pastries! And a very nice outdoor patio with wine, water, beer, snacks, etc available at a very great price. If I ever make it back I’m absolutely booking here again!

Location is phenomenal from our room 5. Elevator was wonderful to have, breakfast great and staff friendly and extremely helpful. Bed was comfortable and viewing the Duomo from bed incredible. Appreciated them allowing us to leave our luggage after checking out was very nice.

The location in the center of the tourist attraction. We are thankful and grateful to Marcelo, who did our check-in and guided us for all our inquiries. He is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is simple but tastes good, most especially the croissants and also the fresh juices.

LOCATION! Right in the heart of Florence. The B & B manager was extremely helpful. Gave us instructions for our room, and referrals to local restaurants.

There was a set of steep stairs immediately upon entering the room. And had to be used to enter the bathroom. There should be a railing of some kind as a safety measure.

I like the proximity of everything. The views are out of this world. So nice to people watch. If you wake up early, it is such a breath of fresh air without the crowd. Staff were super nice. Breakfast was good. Excellent sound proofing. Air conditioning was good.

We stayed at the triple room facing the baptistry. Furnishings need to be updated. For the price that we paid, they should have at least fixed the toilet paper holder and the lights inside the bathroom. Also, the headboards need to be replaced. They were peeling off. Stairs to go up at night is super dark. Need a flashlight. I don't know why they can't install some lights.

We stayed here just one night on 8/9/23 after our flight home was cancelled, so this was our ‘bonus night’ in the beautiful City of Florence 🏆 Wow, what an incredible view! All 3 rooms of our suite (the Brunelleschi Suite on the 2nd floor), looked straight out onto the Baptistry and Cathedral on Piazza San Giovanni in Florence. In arrival we just threw open the windows and enjoyed the view We quite liked the murmur from the busy Piazza during the day, but be warned, the bar below did have pretty loud music playing til about midnight (did not bother us as we are night owls👍) The guy that welcomed us was super friendly, as was the chap that managed breakfast and our check out. Master bed was THE biggest bed I’ve ever seen! (Suit thruples 🤣) 2nd bedroom also a double. Beautiful bed linen. Gorgeous big bathroom with big shower Lounge has comfy sofa and huge TV that has Netflix (also has Amazon Prime but screen kept freezing, so stuck with Netflix) Felt very grand stepping outside through the HUGE heavy front doors! Reception and breakfast is on 3rd floor (there is a lft👍) I read reviews complaining of dark atairwells, but there ARE lights (timed to save electricity)

Our apartment had a rather nasty pervading smell of smoke like there had been a fire below recently? We literally had to keep the lounge windows open because it did make me cough. Breakfast is indeed as disappointingly mediocre as other reviews mention. One does expect more for the cost per night here. I’d improve it if I were them, look at what competitors are offering. Also the room breakfast is held in feels like a cell. No windows. Made us want to whisper, strange atmosphere.

The view of the Baptistery just feet from window exceptional. Loved the tall ceilings. The elevator was 2 people plus luggage, quick, always working. Great A/C and soundproofing. Super central to G.d.Accademia, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi, markets. Very good breakfast, eggs, cereal.

Would have liked more comfy chairs to sit in front of window. Shower grab bar missing.
