Duomo View was absolutely amazing!!! My teenage daughter and I came for a few nights stay and absolutely fell in love with the room and the city of Florence. We were greeted by the gracious hosts upon arrival, given a tour and all the information we could possibly need to begin our stay in Florence. Even though we did not sign up for the breakfast online, we were able to pay for the breakfast per day by simply signing up for it the night before. The breakfast was so delightful...several coffee choices, fresh juice, croissant, toast and jam. It was the perfect way to start the day in this beautiful space. The bed was very comfy and although the weather was beautiful during our stay, the AC was a welcomed treat in the heat of the day. Our favorite thing to do in the room was to open up both windows and listen to the sounds of the Duomo Square. Musicians playing guitar, opera singers, the beautiful church bells, and just the sounds of the people enjoying their time in this absolutely stunning place. The Duomo View will not disappoint. It is simple and understated, but the room is spacious, very clean, and in our opinion absolutely perfect. We will DEFINITELY come back on a future trip to Florence.

The location was definitely breathtaking and something I never thought I could experience as a tourist right on top of the Battistero and Duomo of Florence, at birds eye view. Personnel was extremely sweet and accommodating. Breakfast offered for a few euros extra. Elevator (even if small, funny and a bit ancient) was there, so no complaints about that.

I don't really have many negative points to say about the accommodation, I believe they could take advantage of some renovations in the inside areas, making it look more hotel-ish rather than the current vibe of "visiting a friend" but I understand the latter can be appreciated as part of the experience. The room we were in was small but that's on us, we booked the small room - if you can, get the bigger one. Only thing I can complain about is the lack of a mini fridge in the room and maybe the shower, as a shower curtain in a hotel isn't definitely the most hygienic thing.

Location, location, location. Right in the heart of ancient Florence. The sounds of Florence are intoxicating. But it is also good that the room has good shutters and windows that can keep out the noise and light when not wanted.

The room is spare and not very comfortable. No drawers or closets to put your clothes. The bed had a pretty saggy, lumpy mattress. This is a very old building that has been remodeled, but not with much care or charm in the rooms. The building itself is charming with its shutters, narrow staircase, and ancient elevator for 2 people (or 1 person and luggage). Breakfast is just a typical Italian light continental breakfast. 1 pastry, 2 small pieces of Melba toast, a cup of tea/coffee, and a glass of juice and some butter and jam....all brought to the room at a time (only between 8:00 and 8:45 am) of your choice. There is no attendant or service after 12:00pm.

We were traveling for a funeral, but the dates were changed at the last minute, where I had to rebook the flights and hotels. We booked non-refundable, but after we explained the situation they allowed us to change the dates with no extra fees. They did not have to do that, and we greatly appreciated that they did.

The hotel was literally across the street from the Duomo church. This means that when the bells rang, it was very loud. It also means that the hotel is right in the middle of a tourist location. This is great if you want to be right where everything is, but my wife and I enjoy going off the beaten path. It took a bit of a walk to get to restaurants and cafes that were not aimed just for the tourist. This isn't what we enjoy, but it's likely what others like.

Antonella was amazing and her croissants for breakfast were absolutely delicious. Super helpful even before I arrived with all the necessary information. Location was just incredible everything was within a 5/10 minute walking distance, the view from the room of the duomo was surreal and everything was just so organised. Really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend!

Bottled water should be included for amount you pay and a little annoying when people don't close doors to the lift and you have to walk 😀

Our two night stay there was very pleasant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the room was sparkling clean and the location is unbeatable. The bed was comfortable and there were two different types of pillows. A/C worked perfectly well during our stay (important, since we were there in June).

Our room was a simple room in the most perfect location. Our check-in process was extremely easy with great communication from reception before our arrival. Breakfast was simple, but enough to get your day started. Our view of the duomo was absolutely amazing. Staff were very accommodating and always made sure we had what we needed. There was a great cathedral view, the room was clean, the breakfast was good and the lady who works there is very kind.

The room is small but it is enough for a short trip.

What can I say the most perfect position to say, to open your window and be looking straight at the Duomo you can't ask for more, proximity to station is awesome infact proximity to every thing was amazing. Staff excellent 5 stars all the way.. This B&B exceeded my expectations when it came to view and location 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Limited storage space, but it wouldn't put me off returning.

The location - right on the Duomo Piazza - can’t be beaten in the great little B&B. The manager was kind enough to upgrade me to a room with an indoor bathroom and the most stunning view. With the windows shut, the noise from the square wasn’t bad at all and waking up in the morning to see the Dome and the Campanile right outside my window was so worth it. There is an elevator after the 1st set of stairs, which makes it easier if you have luggage. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Great value for money, good staff and awesome location.
