We came to Florence for the first time! I found the guest house on booking based on reviews, and I made the right choice! Many thanks to Alessandro for the warm welcome! The room is large and clean! There is the possibility to wash clothes in the house, detergents are provided free of charge! There is a common room with a coffee machine, you can make natural coffee! Not all hotels in Italy offer such coffee! There are wine glasses and a corkscrew for bottles in the room! These little things are very important and thank you for having them! The room is large and clean! I definitely recommend this guest house! I also want to express my gratitude to Yariy, he helped with booking a table for our dinner! I also want to note the story opposite the guest house (this is my love at first sight) Osteria Nuvoli (I will of course write a separate review for them) unique, atmospheric and with incredibly delicious food and Italian hospitality!) We liked everything very much, we will definitely come back here again! Florence remained in my heart, thanks to the amazing people we met!

Exceptionally located right next to the Duomo, within walking distance from the train station and major points of interest, the room provided all comfort. The window afforded direct view on a very busy street, but provided a very good insulation both for noise and for light. The bed was very comfortable, we had plenty hangers for the clothes and coffee and tea were available in the common room. We did not include breakfast in the booking, but Alessandro provided information on available options nearby, being very welcoming and attentive all throughout our stay. In the room we also found a list of recommendations for local restaurants, from which we chose the dinner locations and were not disappointed. Clothes washing and drying area was available, we did not use this service. As we had a late train, we had the possibility to leave out luggage in the common area after the check-out and could enjoy more of this wonderful city before we left. In conclusion, we definitely recommend staying at the B&B Dell’Oglio, as we will in the next Florence trip.

Our accommodation had beautiful character, and was spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Our host, Alessandro, was very polite, friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We appreciated our clothes being washed, the daily cleaning and the good kitchen facilities. Our accommodation was in a fabulous location, around the corner from the Duomo, only a few minutes from the train station and central to lots of sights and places of interest. We felt very safe walking around at night, and we were close to lovely shops, restaurants and cafes.

Nothing, we LOVED it!

Location was incredible (truly half a block from the Duomo). Space was clean and manager was helpful (brought luggage up for one small flight of stairs). Separate room from living/pull-out bed was very nice. Great a/c! Daily turn-down service was nice. More of a hotel feel than we were expecting (with a shared washing machine).

Minor thing: A little sparse on amenities. One garbage in the upstairs room and the little one in the bathroom (one in the main space would be nice) and could have used things like facial tissues/lotion. Nothing big, just things to make it a little more easy for a family. There is some street sound, but nothing our family was bothered by.

Best location ever, 30 seconds feom the Duomo and a few mins walk from everywhere. The rooms were very clean and decorated. Alessandro was very helpful when we arrived. The place also has free self laundry services which was very helpful. Except for the church bells, you don’t hear almost anything from the street even though it’s so central.

The bed was not very comfortable, and in the morning the church bells might wake you up.

The location is fantastic, the property is well-kept. The coffee service is nice, but we didn't use it. The bed was just like being at home. It was so comfortable. Daily housekeeping is no longer available at most US hotels. This was a real treat, and the room was SOOOOO clean!

The towels were huge (that's great), but a little scratchy. This is MINOR compared to all of the great things B&B Dell'Olio provides. It would also be nice to have wash clothes.

This place is absolutely perfect! The location is amazing! We were greeted by the host, Alessandro, as we arrived. He gave us a brief orientation and escorted us to our room. It was spacious and beautifully designed. Our bathroom did not disappoint either. It had an elevated feel with white tiled walls and black flooring with a very nicely sized shower. Alessandro was always available and gave great dining recommendations as well as "must do" things during our visit. Breakfast vouchers were given for each day to enjoy a variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, and freshly squeezed juices at a quaint, precious bistro called Konnubio. It was a very short and pleasant stroll away. We thought that it was a great way to start off our day each morning. If you are lucky enough to visit Florence when there is availability at B&B Dell'Olio, do not hesitate to book. It will not disappoint!!!

Honestly, I chose this location quickly based on location and positive reviews. The location was even better than we had imagined. It was clean, comfortable, and could not have been more convenient. When we forgot to indicate we had left the room for the day, they left clean towels and everything we might need until the next day. We cannot wait to stay here again! Bonus - breakfast is at a little charming cafe nearby. We loved it!

The location was fantastic, staff super friendly and responsive! The accommodation in this 14th hundred century palazzo was a great experience! Very clean and tidy and a lovely and big room. Thank you for the kindness and the champagne!

The heating took a while to figure out. But on the second day it was able to fight the cold temperatures in the city. One small improvement: use a king size mattress instead of 2 singles (THIS IS MY HUSBAND's Suggestion)

Location, location, location!Our room was spacious with comfy bed and beautiful bedding.Nicely appointed bathroom with everything you needed.Washer /Dryer was a bonus! The pretty sitting room offered nice amenities as well.Immaculate facility Alex our host went above and beyond to ensure are stay was most enjoyable. He even ran out into the streets to help my husband find parking! Who does that these days?! Alex gave us an extensive list of restaurants written for us!
