A quaint, personable boutique hotel with staff who have amazing detail towards the guest experience. From the wrought iron lift to the welcoming lounge. The room I booked was an economy double and was large enough with nice light from an inner courtyard. The bed was firm. The breakfast was continental, with a selection of baked goods, fruit, and fresh cappuccino. The location was spectacular. A one minute walk tonthe Duomo, and 3 minutes to the Medici Chapel. Florence is compact, so walking distance to the Uffuzi Gallery or Ponte Vecchio bridge was less than 20 minutes.

The staff were excellent - so friendly, thoughtful and helpful. It was my second stay here and I would definitely make Hotel Perseo my preferred accommodation in Florence in the future. They provide an excellent breakfast. The laundry service was reasonable. The location is just perfect. It's easy to pop back in and drop things off or have a rest for an hour. You are in the middle of the historic centre of the best city in the world.

This is not a criticism of the hotel, but is just meant to be helpful for people intending to stay here. I would suggest that when booking a room, you ask for one that opens onto the interior rather than onto the street. The location is extremely busy from early morning until late at night, and the close proximity to the Piazza Del Duomo means that buskers, musicians and street noise can be heard. It wasn't terrible, but if you prefer a little more peace and quiet in the evenings, go to the other side of the building.

The hotel is located in an excellent area , near the Trains station (if you go with a small baggage you can walk to it) and near the historic center . We can go walking to many sights . At night many restaurants nearby. We stayed at the family room, that was very confortable for 4 people .The breakfast was good. The cleaning was good. The staff was very cool and I can tell Ms Louise , the owner, was very kind with us.

As the whole Europe, the old buildings have small elevators and sometimes we have to climb stairs.

Location was fantastic and easy to get to all of our tours. Staff was very help providing a map and explanation of how best to get around the city. Very clean.

Beds and pillows were uncomfortable which made it challenging to sleep

Hotel Perseo is just a few meters from Piazza del Duomo and The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, from where you can easily reach on foot almost every single tourist spot in Florence. It is also close enough from the train station (about 600 meters), so you can also walk from there to the hotel (I choose to get a taxi because I was with a handbag and a large bag). The room and bathroom have both a good size, are very clean and are decorated in a very nice color pallet. Breakfast was included and was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hats off to Marco, who handle my check-in and checkout (he actually made all the checkout process the night before so I could leave the room very early next day, before the checkout time, only returning to the hotel at the end of the afternoon to get my bag and go the train station).

This charming hotel in the heart of Florence was a wonderful place to stay. We had multiple rooms, which were all comfortable, but the highlight was the Junior Suite with a private terrace, which was large, beautifully decorated and had breathtaking views over Florence. Watching the sunset over the Duomo was an unforgettable experience! The staff were all lovely and the security for the building was great. Really good heating in Winter for such a large room. Breakfast was fresh and coffee was great.

I loved the central location! The staff were all so fabulous and made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast every day was a great perk and got us on our way on slow mornings. Great recommendations for dinner and also helping us get last minute tickets to things I didn’t prepare for! I feel so incredibly grateful I chose this spot for our time in Florence 🇮🇹

Be aware that 3rd floor is actually 4th floor of stairs. They do have an elevator but we tried to leave that for people who needed it.

Extremely close to the train station. Its a ten min walk and taxi's are readily available. Hotel is a bit odd to get into. Once you get into the elevator and come to the third floor it gets better. Reception was a stickler for keys but reasoning makes sense. The room was FANTASTIC. Super comfortable beds and facilities. We didnt have a good view but thats the least of concerns. The breakfast was AMAZING. The location is central close to the Basilica. Theres so many good restaurants close by.

Wish they offered shuttle service from train station

The location is absolutely fantastic and we had no idea how close it was to the Duomo and all the amazing attractions. It is set on the main road but it is so quiet that you are never disturbed. Best nights sleep and great air con! The view from our room was wonderful. The hotel is on the 3rd floor and has steps as well as a lift and also gated entrance with code. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was a welcome surprise - especially needed for all the walking!

The hotel was classy, clean and very conveniently located to both the train station and most of the major historic attractions in the beautiful city of Florence. The staff was knowledgeable about the city and always eager to assist making plans, dinner reservations or travel arrangements. Breakfast was plentiful, with a wide range of items available daily. Everything tasted great.

Our room was quite small, and I understand the limits of such. However, there was no place to unpack most of our smaller items. The armoire was useful for hanging items, but there was no dresser, drawers of any kind or a space large enough to open and place the suitcases other than on the floor. We felt very unorganized and messy living out of the cases on the floor. Again, I realize how space is at a premium and not what we are accustomed to from an American hotel standard. I believe the two small bedside tables could be replaced with a bedside tables with a small drawer or two on each of the bed side for socks, underwear and other small items.
