It was perfect! Perfect location over looking the Duomo. Perfect staff that were so helpful with reservations, suggestions, and taxi’s. Perfect room, decorated with utmost taste and quality. A fire place, sitting table, bench at the end of the bed for putting on shoes, a beautiful wardrobe. Perfect attention to detail, with every amenity needed, water, sparkling water, snacks, coffee, bathroom toiletries, even a toothbrush kit! Perfectly cleaned daily by wonderful housekeeping, always smiling! Perfectly comfy bed for a good nights rest. Oh, and did I mention the rooftop terrace with amazing City views! Would book there again in a heart beat. We had the “Anna” room.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. I had a bit of a struggle with how high and firm the pillows were, but I’m sure some like them that way.

The location, it was clean inside the apartment area and bedroom. Also cleaned to a high spec each day. The staff were helpful, in particular Navy, she was so patient and very helpful, sorting out a few issues we had with our return journey.

The entrance and hallway needs a refurb and there were very unpleasant smells as you went up the stairs. Additional costs for breakfast were expensive and should have been part of the costs. In addition if did want breakfast the location was quite a distance from the apartment.

Such a lovely boutique hotel! Our room felt as if we were sleeping in a gallery. We had a view of the Duomo and the square below. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. You really don't need a restaurant in the hotel as there are so many options right outside the door. We needed ice for our room, and the staff provided it, as well as fresh water. The lighting in the room was great and there were 'stars' over the bathtub! Make sure to see the Boboli Gardens. It's a nice walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Great area, staying at this hotel gives you access to the terrace which is usually empty and you’re allowed to bring up your own drinks which is good, it feels like you have an exclusive view of the Duomo. The rooms are extremely beautiful and has a story behind them all, it also has some books to read about Florence. The bathroom is also heavenly

Excellent location, on the doorstep of Piazza del Duomo, good sized interestingly decorated room with fabulous bathroom. Very comfortable large bed and good sound insulation from outside noise. View of Duomo if you stick your head out of the window and look right. The old fashioned lift was fun.

Pre visit written communication contradictory and confusing. Reception staff on site only between 13.45 and 20.45. Early bag drop off proved difficult with no one on site despite a pre arrangement and no apology from staff member who eventually arrived. No on site instructions to lighting, heating, bath and privacy controls etc, and introductory tour and staff knowledge was patchy. No mention of available access to roof terrace, found out by chance later.

Take the vintage elevator up three floors, and reception is just off the elevator. Nice lady checked us in and walked us to our room. Room is beautiful, wood floors, nice dramatic lighting, bathroom is gorgeous. Has 2 racks for your suitcases that slide in and out which is an excellent idea! Feels very plush. View of the Duomo out the window. Not straight on of course but if you lean out you can see it. View of Medici Chapel dome straight out the window. Really nice looking spacious room. Also small sitting area with a table and three chairs. Really nice. Big beautiful bathroom with a tricked out exceptional shower. Wonderful, and then ... access to the top floor terrace seals the deal. Spacious private sitting area terrace with about six or so tables, looking straight at the Duomo. Incredible view! Wi-Fi works but it's not perfect. Windows open but are double pane so they cut the sound down dramatically. AC. The location by the Duomo is excellent. Not only do you get to see the Duomo, but it's central to all other sides in Florence. Fantastic stay.

The breakfast. The room. The view and the location. The roof top is pretty cool to have a drink and look over the city, not that great in the rain though. I liked the stairs up to the 4th floor, great exercise.

Could not work out how to get into the building. It was eventually a Prada staff member that helped us out. The room was not ready, however to compensate the establishment gave us breakfast. It was advertised as a hotel but it is actually a bed and breakfast according to the staff. One of the staff members was not very friendly and was quite offish, the others were amazing.

The location is central . The bathrooms were very modern and aesthetically pleasing . The rooms are very clean and the decor of the room including the art work on the ceiling keeps the essence of Firenze alive . The staff is very friendly . The complimentary art work from the owner is a piece of memorabilia.

The hotel doesn’t have an in house dining facility . The terrace which is empty can be converted into a bar to have drinks with a view .

Clean and well located. Modern and tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast. Staff, when they were present were very helpful.

Main problem was that reception wasn’t adequately manned. I had to ask other guests for help on two occasions. Main door was sticking and I couldn’t get access to my room, other guests also found this problematic. Couldn’t get the safe to open, although this was resolved quite quickly it spoilt my last morning and caused me stress.

Duomo Luxury Florence was an amazing stay at the heart of Florence. The room was very seamlessly decorated, and room was very comfortable including the bed and the shower. The minute you walk into the room, you feel like you are in Florence and you are part of the history. Nice view of Duomo from the windows as well and windows are completely sound proof although it is on the main street. I would highly recommend to stay in Duomo Luxury Florence.

There is nothing we did not like and it was a lovely stay. Price did feel on the higher end and was a bit out of our budget but we are glad we have stayed here on our first night. Comparing to the other places we found it to be still reasonable as the details, luxury and comfort you are getting from this stay was a good value.
