Everything about our stay at B&B Cerretani Palace was perfect! The location is phenomenal, we were lucky enough to have room 2, which had the best view of the duomo without doubt! Rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and perfect reflection of the city. Edoardo was the perfect host, helping where needed to organise a taxi and also offering advice of the city and restaurant recommendations. You can contact them via WhatsApp which made life so much simpler too. Breakfast was wonderful and on days we were out early we were offered a takeaway breakfast bag. There was a water fountain in the reception so we could refill our water bottles before heading out. The room had air con which helped with the July heat and despite being right above the square it was surprisingly quiet for a great nights sleep. Would recommend without a doubt. A true gem!

Everything was excellent! I’m being honest and B&B Cerretani Palace was listed in the best stay I’ve ever had in my life. All were perfect. Edoardo and his brother were very kind and super helpful. Room was exactly Iike in pictures shown. Located just right next to Il Duomo and in walkable reaches to many important places i.e. Il Palazzo Vecchio, Gil Uffizi, Bogello museum, Il Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Repubblica, Accademia. Breakfast was great, too and had variety. You can choose what you’d Ike to eat for each morning. The bed was comfortable and large. B&B Cerratani Palace. Add my stay at Florence pleasant nd memorable.!

The location is hard to beat. It was only a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station (S.M. Novella) to the B&B, and less than 50 yards from the beginning of the Florence Duomo plaza or square. The view from our balcony of the Duomo was just outstanding . The two brothers that manage the property were very kind and helpful. Twice they arranged cabs to meet us within 50 feet of the entrance. You do need to be prepared to walk up stairs to what I would say is equivalent to the 2nd or 3rd floor in the USA. When we arrived by train though, they arranged to meet is on the grand floor to assist with luggage (we traveled light though). The property only is 5 suites in a much larger, very old palace building, but this space is renovated and very nice. It felt safe because you are given a code to a strong gate at the building entrance and into the reception room on the level of the rooms. The stairs are well lit with hand railings. We easily walked to the river, Uffizi and Accademia, and other attractions. Scored of great restaurants and shopping are all around.

This was our favorite property in our whole 2 week stay in Italy! The location was perfect, the room was very spacious and the breakfast was absolutely amazing every single day! Not to mention, opening your window to see the duomo every morning..WOW!!! Eduardo was so accommodating for anything and everything!!! He brought breakfast at a different time every morning to accommodate all of our tours! He even gave us croissants to go as we missed breakfast one morning for an early tour! I cannot say enough about this place or Eduardo. This place is such a gem, I am so glad it worked out for us to stay here. Cant wait to come next year for longer. THANK YOU EDUARDO!

There is NOT ONE thing that we didn't love about this B&B! It far exceeded our expectations! I thought it would be very noisy at night, being in the heart of the city but we didn't hear anything! He left ear plugs just in case but we didn't need them! We cannot wait to return next year!

This is in a lovely old building in the heart of Florence. Beautiful suite, very comfy bed and pillows, had a safe and a fridge with hanging space above. Edoardo was a great host and even arranged a bottle of Prosecco and cake for my wife’s birthday. Being in the centre you have to expect noise but the double glazing did a good job at night. Lovely balcony with views of the Duomo and some very random street performers outside on most days. Easy to get to the station, easy to get to all the sights. Good choice for breakfast. We can’t recommend highly enough!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It’s not a 5 star B&B so we didn’t go in with those sorts of expectations.

The property and host Edoardo were spectacular. He anticipated our every need and delivered authentic, beautiful service. The view out our window in the historic city center was transporting including the Duomo itself … we loved it! The room was beautiful with the feeling of being in a palace yet with a fully outfitted, lovely modern bathroom. And the room service breakfast was exceptional. Stay here, you’ll love it. You have to be careful entering the front gate but if you’re mobile, it’s fine.

I loved everything about this place. the hosts were extraordinary ! always at our disposal.. they met us right out of our taxi they carried our luggage and had prosecco ham and cheese etc in our room.. they reserved cars and taxis.. they brought us breakfast to our room every morning. one morning we had an early morning tour and they left us a bag with pastries and bottles of juice. and every afternoon we got back from a long day and there were pastry’s and treats in our room.. I seriously am amazed how wonderfully attentive and helpful they were… The day we left he got our taxi and carried our luggage down and waits with us till cab arrived! 14 days wasn’t enough .. they were spectacular and will definitely return.. Loved everything

Super convenient location (next to Duomo). Spacious, clean room. The staff is very helpful: welcomed us on the first day, left us chilled water in the fridge every day, and saved us some breakfast on the last day when we had to leave early in the morning. Breakfast is great and is sent to room everyday. Air conditioning is awesome and saved our lives from the 38C weather.

It can be a little noisy in the morning sometimes from outside of the window. Not every room has Duomo view so just be aware of that.

I stayed at B&B Cerretani Palace for three nights, and the experience was truly exceptional. The host was absolutely amazing—respectful, helpful, and provided outstanding service. The room was large, very comfortable, and had a stunning view of the Duomo. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Florence and incredibly convenient. Breakfast was excellent—simple but high quality. In short: I strongly recommend this place. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Florence.

The host, Edoardo, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable at his B&B - very gracious and welcoming with kind touches like fresh pastries in the room each day and arranging a late check-out for us. The location of the B&B is excellent - we had a view of the Duomo 150 metres from our window - and even if it is in a busy area it is very calm. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was enormous and breakfast (delivered in the room at a pre-arranged time) was good.

There was nothing really. Perhaps a small side table by the bed was missing?
