Amazing location and remarkably quiet given we were right on the piazza. We had a little terrace (although a bit rainy at times so we didn't use it as much as we would have liked). The room is glorious with original (refreshed) frescos on the ceiling. There are only 5 bedrooms in this B&B, with a couple of common spaces. It is all beautifully appointed. You get a voucher to have a delicious breakfast every morning at a nearby cafe. Andrea was a marvellous host! He was so attentive and extremely responsive. He organised a taxi to the train station when we left, and walked with us and our luggage to where we picked up the taxi, ensuring everything went smoothly. His service was outstanding. We highly recommend this property and the staff.

Breakfast was taken at a little restaurant just around the corner which added to the charm. I loved the position of the hotel. It felt like a totally authentic experience and you could imagine the people who lived in the building over the centuries. Despite being quirky and full of character the room had all the modern facilities we were looking for. The room and the communal lounge and reception and terrace were beautifully clean. Our host Andrea was wonderful. He met us at the door, explained all the facilities and really assisted us with maps and suggestions for restaurants. He was full of local knowledge which he gladly shared.

We visited Florence during a period of extreme heat. The airconditioning was struggling a little but so was everyones in the city. I didn't like leaving!

The service was exceptional from days before arrival through after the departure. The staff arranged parking and transportation to the hotel, as well as an early morning pickup the day we departed. The room was exceptional, the fresco on the ceiling sublime, opening the window and having the Duomo so close, it literally felt like you should be about to touch it. Because we had an early morning departure, the staff provided the ability to access the breakfast items the evening before so that we were able to eat before departing and without the additional expense.

There was nothing that I would call out as bad or undesirable.

Andreas went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. His restaurant and bar recommendations were excellent, he phoned ahead a restaurant and walked there to personally make a booking for us. He phoned a taxi for us and walked us there helping with our luggage and letting the driver know where we needed to go. We also heard him being equally as helpful to everyone staying when we were there. The room and accommodation are incredibly central with the most extraordinary views of the Duomo. Yes under construction but the uninterrupted views from our room, the central location as well as Andreas kindness made our stay here unforgettable. We will absolutely be back! Thank you thank you, our last two night at the end of our Italian adventure were so wonderful.

A beautifully finished, small B&B right next to the Duomo. Lovely details in the restoration of this old property amidst all needed modern conveniences. The manager was very helpful before, during and after our stay, so although there was not always someone there, he always replied very quickly via WhatsApp. The breakfast at a cafe next door was very good.

The vestibule light inside the bedroom was on a timer switch - wouldn’t stay on if you wanted it on, and then come on brightly in the middle of the night as you walked into the bathroom. Annoying!

The service and staff are professional, personable and very helpful. Andrea and his staff members were diligent with their care towards my booking, transportation to and from the airport, assistance with baggage, and multiple recommendations and follow up for services, directions, restaurants, and things to in Florence as I was staying for 2 months. The hotel room is stunning. You’ll feel like you are living in work of art…the ceilings and bathrooms are so gorgeous…and the scent of the entire hotel is inviting and special (you’ll know what I mean when you get there). It’s so close to the Duomo, which will act as your personal alarm clock. Bring ear plugs, if you’re a light sleeper. The charm, view and energy of being in this area is what makes this place so special.

For duomo tourism, this is the best location. Breakfast restaurant is wonderful. All the experiences of checking in, comfort, leisure, amenities and professionalism were far beyond excellence. They even stayed in touch via WhatsApp and steered us to enjoy the best of Florence. Andrea is an exceptional host. He is dedicated to his work and beyond. Thank you for arranging the taxi and for making sure that we have reached safely at our destination.

Close to Duomo, spacious rooms, large bathroom with huge shower. Good bed. Extremely helpful and courteous staff with lots of information and good tips. There's a teakettle in the room to fix coffee or tea, safe, small quiet fridge. We asked if it was possible to move into the room earlier and they arranged it without any problems, they were very flexible and let us leave our luggage on the last day.

There is a staircase to the B&B (1st floor). Although they helped us with the luggage, it was a surprise. But the stairs are very comfortable with handholds on each side of the stairs (beautiful stairway).

The bed and breakfast is in a prefect location, opposite the Duomo. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops on the door step. Staff very friendly and provided valuable information on restaurants, and a detailed map showing all sightseeing musts. The bed and breakfast is spacious and clean, all in all we enjoyed our stay.

The property entrance is just a door and looks a bit ropey from outside. Once in, it has a shared stone staircase with two flights to climb before accessing an entrance door, which leads to reception room, bedrooms. It is monitored by CCTV and not really staffed. The bed and breakfast have facilities for you to make coffee but you must visit a cafe a few minutes away for breakfast, which is a set menu.

We were warmly welcomed by Andrea. He gave explicit information on the hotel. The latter has only 5 rooms, some with view on the Duomo Cathedral and larger floor area. Breakfast was served outside in a nearby restaurant. Plenty of food. Location was perfect opposite the Duomo cathedral. It is right in the centre. All amenities and train station are within walking distance.

There were only 3 choices of breakfast, though enough in each. More varieties would be preferable.
