We had room 40, which had dual aspect views out at the Duomo (Albert under scaffolding). Amazing location. Also very good AirCon which was very welcome as it was very hot during our visit. The bathroom is lovely and fairly new and also had a wonderful view out over the rooftops. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we had other places to be, but it looked very nice - and the location for breakfast is on or looking out on a terrace right alongside the Duomo. Wonderful. We also liked the old wooden lift access. This may be a drawback for some, but for us it all added to the atmosphere.

The location is excellent and the staff is great - very helpful and eager to make your stay comfortable and easy.

The rooms were a bit dated and could use a refresh. The pictures of the hotel online didn't quite match what they look like in real life. That was disappointing but by far my biggest criticism is that it was very expensive--unnecessarily so given the conditions and look of the rooms and the hotel itself. The triple room we booked featured an extra bed that seemed more like a hospital bed and was not very comfortable. Had I known, I would have likely chosen a different place to stay.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. They recommended nice restaurants and the must do activities that Florence has to offer. Very friendly overall and when I had my breakfast, they recommended and made a special type of coffee which I've never seen before. There are a lot of guest amenities which are included that other hotels don't offer. For example, the mini bar in your room are included at no added cost. You can pour yourself tea or coffee from the main hall at no added cost. This comes with refreshments to enjoy alongside the beverages. The location of the hotel was about as perfect as it could be. I enjoyed two evening coffees in my 2 nights here staring right out at the cathedral. It was just pleasant and it felt like a paradise! When I come back to Florence, this will be exactly where I will stay again.

The location was very central and close to the Duomo. The staff was very friendly and accommodated us by holding our luggage. Our luggage was brought up to the room for us when it was ready. The room was huge and the bathroom was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the closet was large. Great layout of the room overall. It was one of our favorite rooms throughout the entire trip. We only had breakfast the last day, and it was delicious! They hand-carved the ham in front of you and always had someone on hand to help.

The easiest way to get to the hotel was via the elevator, and sometimes you had to wait if multiple groups were going up. We arrived by train and the walk wasn't too bad from the station (about 10 mins,) and is something to consider if you have a lot of luggage (you may want to consider a taxi).

Fantastic location! This hotel is directly across from the Duomo and situated in an area with lots of restaurants and shops. It is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Our room was large, but we were a party of 8 and one couple had a very small room and one couple had a room that had not been updated. The hotel appeared to be updating rooms as workers were hanging wall paper. Our room, however, was spacious and very well appointed. The staff was very amiable and very helpful. We ate Breakfast one morning at the hotel and it was excellent, with a great selection and good coffee. They also had snacks out most of the day!

There was street noise at all hours of the night. I believe they were young college kids out having a great time. It was not too awful, but it did wake me up 2 nights in a row.

Excellent location. Less than 10 minutes (very pleasant) walk to every landmarks. Breakfast was varied with fresh fruits, eggs, etc with excellent coffee and cappuccino! A very safe area for women like me travelling alone with lots of restaurants and cafes at you doorstep. The superior single room is cosy with everything you need ( fridge, safe deposit). Excellent shower and large bathroom. Taxi drops you in front of hotel and picks you up the same. Also ( but not least) to mention very helpful staff and good management.

As publicised by the hotel on website there are a few steps to get to your room but this was not an issue and the staff helped me with my suitcase without me asking which I very much appreciated.

We were instantly charmed by the traditional Italian style of this hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and having 24 hour reception was amazing. We had breakfast most mornings at the hotel. Great value for only €12 and always greeted by the very friendly Georgia. The room was quite small, but very comfortable with really tasteful Italian design in the decor. Bed was very comfortable, and the room was serviced so beautifully every day. The bathroom looked recently renovated and the shower was spacious and worked really well. Plenty of lighting options as well.

The hotel has the most perfect location ever. It has terrace that is just as close to the Duomo as it is on their commercial photos. Check in is after 14:00 but they allowed me to check-in as early as 09:00 AM. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is providing free wine, coffee and tea in the lobby. Besides you get a bottle of wine from the hotel as a welcome gift. You can take umbrella in case of rain. The room was tiny but quite convenient. I will recommend it all my friends and close people to choose Hotel Duomo Firenze when visiting Florence. Thanks again!

Hotel Duomo was a spectacular location to spend our days in Firenze! We appreciated the kind and responsive staff, who were always available to answer questions. Being able to walk out onto the Duomo piazza was perfect, it is a spectacular area and made the city easy to navigate on foot. We enjoyed our balcony, and the larger balcony for breakfast. The room was modern, with good AC, a large shower, and even storage for our suitcases. It was a spectacular stay!

Property had a perfect location was amazing. You can see the duomo wall from your room and when you walk out, you are straight into the heart of all. Everything is within perfect walking distance including galleries, restaurants etc. Staff were incredible so helpful and friendly. The hotel has an area you can sit and bring your own food like a little cafe, they also supply water both still and sparkling or coffee’s and treats. Staff were so accommodating for an entire stay helping us with anything we needed. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable- our best yet. Would highly recommend staying at this place it is so affordable for the location and the inclusions. Also wi-fi is fast working and great
