Long story short, I'll plan my next travel according to available dates of De Biffi, to ensure that I'll explore the beautiful city Florence under perfect conditions. We had the incredible experience staying at this hotel in Florence. - The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions and landmarks. - The breakfast served at the hotel was exceptional. We were expecting a simple breakfast menu, but it was outstanding. (check the photos!) - The hotel itself was beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Very nice balcony that you can feel the city. Starting the day with breakfast on the balcony was a delightful and elegant experience. - Outstanding hospitality provided by Andrea, the host. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything needed and was always available to assist us. Even after we checked out, Andrea continued to offer his support and guidance. We were so impressed with the hotel and Florence that we wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. However, Andrea helped us to find another place to stay, even secured a discounted rate. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The perfect location, exceptional service, and delightful ambiance make it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Florence.

I couldn't name anything I didn't like. However, this is not a issue for us, and it seems that staff are willing to adjust their working hours to accommodate our needs, note that in-hotel reception is not available 24/7, but the staff is exceptionally helpful and responsive to messages and phone calls, which is generally satisfactory for most visitors I believe.

Location is amazing 2-3 min walk to Dumo and very near to all critical locations such as academia or uffuzzi gallery. all nice restaurants and mercado is very near. as location aspect maybe one of the best location hotel. rooms are quite large for the concept of hotel chosen. Breakfast is small but good. Staff is available in the morning till evening as part of the concept of the hotel. but they are all very very helpful and nice. we had get a very good service and support from Ms. Elif from Reception. we were very happy with our stay in that hotel. let me enter some extra details such as room heating is very good, electrical system is well, bath water heat and pressure is very good. the beds are comfortable and large.

We stayed at B&B De Biffi as a family of four, including two children aged 4 and 12. The room offered was moderately sized and had a cozy, home-like feel. It included a decent bathroom but surprisingly lacked a mirror in the main room, which was a bit inconvenient. The sleeping arrangement included three beds, with one being a converted sofa bed. While the space was quite generous considering the central location, it’s important to remember that the building is old — typical of Florence’s historic heart — and has been refurbished into a hotel setting. We opted for breakfast, which was a simple affair — croissants, omelettes, and a few other basic options. There’s no dedicated dining area; instead, you place your order with a lady in the small “kitchen area,” and she prepares and delivers it to your room. While the breakfast was adequate, don’t expect a buffet or a wide selection. Location-wise, this B&B scores very well. It’s in the heart of Florence, with most major attractions within walking distance — including the Duomo and Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia Gallery. Roads in the area are typically narrow and busy, but that’s part of the charm of staying in such a central, historic location. Taxis were readily available, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it’s a good choice for families looking for a centrally located stay with basic amenities. Just manage your expectations regarding the luxury and services.

No Mirror in the Room: A basic item that was missing and made getting ready a bit inconvenient. Sofa Bed: One of the beds was a converted sofa, which may not be the most comfortable. Old Building Feel: While charming, the old structure means you may miss out on some modern conveniences. Limited Breakfast Options: The selection was minimal and there’s no proper dining area — just a kitchen corner where you place your order.

The location was excellent and in walking distance to the main attractions, restaurants and the train station. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The warm water lasted only for two people to shower, but we were a family of 4 who travelled in March during the colder season. Breakfast started only from 8am. You order it from a lovely lady who prepares your breakfast in the kitchen and then serves it directly in your room. This took some time to prepare so if you’re planning to start your sightseeing early or to go on a guided tour (many start at or before 8am), you’ll miss breakfast.

We stayed in room 8, which was really beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the room had everything we needed, including a hairdryer and shower gel. We were especially impressed with the breakfast – the choice was great, as we could order exactly what we wanted, and it was delivered directly to our room. We had options for both sweet and savory dishes, yogurt, cereal, croissants... The location is also excellent, close to the train station and the city center, which was very convenient. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Overall, this is a perfect place for a relaxing stay in the city. Highly recommended!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provided recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, and were generally very accommodating. They even provided a thank you gift when I checked out! The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it was fine. They offered a variety of yogurt, fruit, pastries, and toast options. They also made a great cappuccino. An interesting thing about the breakfast is that you place an order and they deliver it to your room a few minutes later. The room had plenty of space for me and offered what I needed as a solo traveler: a bed, desk, closet, small refrigerator, safe, and a bathroom with a spacious sink and a nice shower. The location is exceptional! It was an easy walk to pretty much anywhere I wanted to go, about 2 minutes walk from the Duomo and within 15 minutes of Ponte Vecchio.

The room was very sparse, with a bed that wasn't terribly comfortable. The lighting wasn't great in the room, either, at least not for someone who likes to read before bed. I gather that the rooms vary quite a lot in size and orientation in the property, though, so I don't know that this applies for other rooms. It was also very hot at night, and there was no way to control the temperature other than opening a window. Thankfully, it was cool enough outside that the window provided the temperature regulation i needed.

B&B De Biffi was a winner. Our room was generously sized, and had two twins and a double bed, which was perfect for a family of 4. The location couldn't have been better. In the heart of Florence, 3-10 minutes walk from Mercato, Duomo, Santa Maria Cathedral, San Lorenzo, Accademia, leather market, a zillion food options, everything. Easy walk to the train station. Zero money spent on transit other than our train into town. We were traveling with grade school kids and really appreciated the in room breakfast option, which made starting the day way easier. The staff was warm and wonderful, and our room was very clean. I wish we had stayed longer.

Great location right next to the Duomo. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The room itself was very spacious for a family of four. The bathroom was modern. Most of the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast table was a bit cramped for a family of four. There were not enough lights in the room; specifically no small bedside lights, only for the entire room. One of the twin beds was comfortable but very narrow and was placed not alongside a wall, so our child fell from it while sleeping. There is quite a bit of noise from the alleyway under the room when businesses open in the morning (around 7am).

The location was excellent. Really close to everything you need in the city and walkable from the train station. Staff spoke good english. Room was as expected and the shower was nice. I would book this room again.

I thought it was strange for the breakfast, a lady took an order of whatever you wanted and you had it in your room with a small table?? kinda weird because there wasn't any options just whatever came to your head and the cooks english was non-existent. The whole breakfast took awhile and it started at 8 am. I wanted to get the sites early so that the lines were short. I would recomend just making a menu or pre make basic food options and starting earlier. Also the pillows were flat so that was annoying as well.

Location excellent, in the middle of Florence, close to everything. Property easy to find. Smooth check in and check out. Staff very helpful, kind, efficient, generous and professional. Breakfast was delicious, room was clean, beds comfortable. Would stay here again.

Not a problem as such as not very obvious but the ceiling bathroom extractor fan in our suite was in need of vacuuming - I forgot to mention it to the staff, I have no doubt the staff would have arranged for it to get cleaned straight away if only they were made aware of it.
