Great location. 10 min walk from station. Very central able to easily walk to all the attractions. Lots of good restaurants around the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room a good size. Lovely view of the square from our window. Loved being able to people watch. The windows have good soundproofing so noise cut down considerably. We are gluten free and had a lovely breakfast every morning including tasty gluten free croissants. We could even have had pancakes. Best breakfast we have had and I didn’t feel left out Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is located on the square in Florence. I stayed in their largest room on the top floor which had a beautiful view. The room was large enough to have a sitting area. The bathroom was very spacious as well. The hotel does have an elevator to the lobby but there are stairs if you are in one of the top floor rooms. Keep this mind when booking so you can mention to them via messenger if you have issues with stairs. The breakfast is made to order as this hotel does a bit of hybrid - hotel and bed and breakfast. I picked out my breakfast the night before on the menu and everything was prepared the next morning in the dining room. So delicious and a nice change.

Great location, very central with easy walking access to all major points of interest and the central train station. The building and facility felt secure, and the room, lobby and breakfast area were clean and well maintained. The staff was professional and very helpful.

The room was excellent and spacious, very clean, with a wonderful view at Piazza San Lorenzo (we could also see the Duomo from our window). The location of this B&B is excellent, walking distance to all main attractions. Our hosts, Constanza and Alexandros, were both very friendly and wonderful! Constanza gave as suggestions on were to experience good food and aperitifs on less touristic places, that really met our standards, making our experience in Florence unforgettable! In general, our experience with Palazzo della Stufa was excellent, we strongly recommend this accommodation and we certainly book again at this place if we visit Florence again.

Everything was perfect!

What a lovely find. The room spacious and warm. Bathroom huge. All amenities found. Our host helped us with restaurants and local sights. Breakfast was absolutely fine for us. Gluten free bread and cheese and ham toastie as well as Great breakfast tea! Lovely to stay and would highly recommend people do. A fine example of a B&B. Bed so comfortable it was difficult to get up in the morning. Can't rate highly enough. Our lovely host even ordered the taxi for the airport. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Our room was large - unlike most European rooms and one of the reasons why we chose this B&B. It is located in an historic building that is just off the main Piazza Republicca - which was excellent! Close to everything but not in the middle of it all. Our hosts Constanza and Alessandro were very attentive and helpful with everything we needed. Constanza arranged excellent transportation for us 3 days in a row as we attended wedding festivities outside the city. Alessandro was on it when my husband left his phone in the taxi - and the phone was back in our room when we arrived back that evening. This is a wonderful B&B was a fabulous breakfast served each morning. Highly highly recommend and we will be back for another visit to the beautiful city of Florence.

This charming, beautifully decorated, and spotless B&B in the heart of Florence, was truly a delightful (and romantic) place to stay during our first visit to the city. Both the room and bathroom were gorgeous! I loved the view of the Duomo, Campanile, and San Lorenzo Piazza from our apartment on the top floor. And the sound of beautiful bells from the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the Campanile! We received a warm and ready welcome when we arrived and our hosts were super helpful. Although our room was up a flight of stairs, our host carried our heavy bag up the stairs for us without hesitation. It was quite hot but the room was air conditioned, making it such a welcoming home base to return to. Because of its close location to everything, it was an easy walk from the train station and to all the city sights. We could go out for the day but easily return to rest, cool off, and refresh for our next adventure. We also loved watching the sights below our windows on the piazza. Finally, we also loved how it was a bit outside of the throngs of people, making it also a quiet respite from the crowds.

There was not a single thing we didn't like!

Fantastic location - couldn’t ask for better. Overlooking the square near the Medici Chapels (Piazza San Lorenzo). Immaculately clean room. Great facilities. Warm welcome from the gentleman on reception who showed us to our room. Very good air conditioning, and a fully stocked minibar. Overall a great stay.

The only criticism we had was the cleaning on the 2nd day. We stayed for two nights, and unfortunately the weather was awful on the 2nd day - so we were late leaving the room (around 1pm), and were informed by reception that the cleaner only had time to change our towels. We declined because we still had clean towels. We then went to the indoor market and returned around 3pm, and saw the cleaner was still there, but hadn’t done anything in our room. I think there would have been time to quickly make the bed, while we were out. The hotel could have achieved a perfect 10 score from us had they done this, so it’s a shame since everything else was spot on.

The room was lovely, location was perfect, view from the window was fabulous. Would stay there again if we're ever in Florence.

Our room was amazing and so clean. All of the facilities including the breakfast room were very well decorated and a pleasure to use. Breakfast wasn't included and was 15 euros per person and could be chosen the night before. We had breakfast 3 times and it was good. The staff were so helpful and I must give special mention to Alessandro who was so helpful and pleasant. The location was walkable from the Santa Maria Novella rail station 10 mins, and very central to all the attractions. We could see the Duomo clearly from our window. We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. I think a little more choice for breakfast would be nice but no great problem as what was offered was good.
