Excellent staff and comfortable bed with good linen. Good shower and all very clean. Absolutely fabulous breakfast. It’s in ideal location and room quiet.

Our room was 400 and lots of steps after the lift. Leaving day was early so asked for packed breakfast but for €18 it was extremely poor. Banana, apple, very small packs of biscuits and crisps.

Our stay at the hotel was a very nice experience, that perfectly blended comfort, elegance, and the vibrant spirit of Florence. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, just a short stroll from the best places to see and the central train station. It’s the ideal base for exploring everything the city has to offer. Our room was comfortable with a comfortable bed, clean, and surprisingly quiet thanks to excellent soundproofing. We appreciated the air-conditioning which worked really well. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great sized suite and comfy beds (there were some stairs to get to the suite lifts which made it a bit difficult with luggage). Bathroom was small and very warm - and not well ventilated. Would have preferred the entrance to the suite be through the main bedroom rather than the lounge (especially with children). Breakfast was nice - but quite loud as the kitchen was in close proximity to many of the tables. Great location.

Room was not ready when we arrived (which was fine as we were early) - requested a call but didn’t receive one.

We were a family of 7 in 3 rooms spending 3 days at the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located to reach by foot all the important attractions in the city (5 minutes from Santa Maria del Fiore) and 10 minutes walk from the train station. It is just on the Piazza Di San Lorenzo. The rooms are quiet, clean, with all necessary amenities. Breakfast is rich and adheres to different preferences. Beds are comfortable and the shower is strong. The front staff is welcoming, professional and patient (one of the best I have encountered in Italy). Highly recommended.

There was no kettle in the room which I find odd considering the rest of the experience (which was excellent). Getting there with a car could be tricky as well as it is within the closed zone. That being said, public parking is 10 minutes sway by foot.

We checked in late after a very long 32 hours in transit. We couldnt find the credit card at check in time, this was no hassle and they made sure we just got into our room and were settled. The room seemed much bigger than 18 metres and the view took our breath away. This is not my first visit to Florence but this was by far my favorite hotel there. And how lovely to arrive to some home made complimentary biscotti and the first round in the mini bar was on the house! Every time we went through reception the staff greeted us warmly and we felt so welcomed. When my partner hurt her foot they were happy to send up ice and provided some nifty ice packs. They did all of this with no fuss and made everything easy. The location was on point, just far enough away from the main tourist attractions to be a bit calmer but close enough that everything was easily accessible. And the beds were really comfy! Also we were doing GF eating in Florence and the hotel is surrounded by great GF restaurants. Whilst all the facilities are good at Solo Experience it is the staff that made this accommodation so wonderful. There was a woman whose name I have now forgotten - she was on reception quite a bit and her customer service was on another level. I am sure by the dates of our booking you will be able to tell who she was, I cant say thank you enough. She even complimented me on my outfits a few times, which made me feel wonderful. Again, all the service felt natural and real warmth. It was so good that the first thing I did after we left was post pictures and talk about it in groups for Australians visiting Italy and also for GF people visiting Italy because of its proximity to so many of the known eateries.

I dont have anything to complain about here.

1. Spacious room: It easily fit two 29-inch suitcases with room to spare. No awkward suitcase gymnastics required. 2. Lovely city view: Whether it’s morning sunlight or evening lights, the view gives the room a charming atmosphere. 3. Great first-day experience overall: The cleanliness and layout made a strong first impression — exactly what you want after a long journey.

1. Strong bleach smell on arrival: On the first night, there was a noticeable bleach odor in the room, which made breathing slightly uncomfortable. While it signals thorough cleaning, a bit more ventilation or a lighter hand would go a long way.

The breakfast was wonderful with a good variety of healthy options. Everything looked fresh and was replenished frequently. The breakfast staff were very welcoming and polite. The reception staff were also welcoming, helpful and informative. The location was perfect and central. Everything was next door: Mercato Centrale for street food until 11pm, the two best artisan Gelateria and My Sugar, the Duomo and railway station.

The mattress was worn and could have been prevented by regular turning. You are woken up early with city noise.

The hotel gave an excellent service. I was particularly impressed with the staff who were very helpful and considerate. I'm disabled and in the months before I arrived the staff were very happy to answer all my questions and provide me with the information I needed to work out if the hotel could meet my disability-related needs. While I was there, they were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The lift worked perfectly throughout my week-long stay. I'd like to thank the staff for a wonderful holiday. Solo Experience is located within walking distance of Florence’s main train station. The hotel is set among beautiful buildings in a quiet area with no passing traffic, which made the atmosphere pleasantly calm. It’s also just a short walk to major attractions like the Florence Cathedral, shopping districts, and even the Arno River. Overall, I was very impressed. Most importantly, the staff were outstanding — extremely helpful, always smiling, and willing to assist with anything. They helped me call taxis and were always cheerful and welcoming. I was also pleasantly surprised to be able to check into my room immediately upon arrival, which I really appreciated since I thought I’d have to store my luggage first.

There was no breakfast provided, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. However, I would not recommend walking from the main train station to the hotel, as the cobblestone roads can be rough and tiring — calling a taxi is a much better option.

This hotel was an 11/10, I haven't had such a great experience since many years. The staff, the location, the rooms, the service was exceptional. We stayed overnight with our 3 kids and were amazed by the kindness of the staff who welcomed us super friendly with exceptional service right at our arrival. They took our car while we could enter the room, recommended a nice restaurant. The hotel is perfectly located, only a few min walk away from the Duomo and the main station, right at a very nice and lively piazza.
