Perfect location, and very fair price compared to other Hotels in Florence!

If there is some room for improvement, then in the noice cancelling. Room doors and windows are old, and with some gaps, and inner walls thin, so you hear not only if the person in the next room listens loud music, but every step, shower etc. So bring earplugs.

Lovely large room overlooking San Lorenzo Church. Double glazing ensured a peaceful night. The staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel clean and tidy, everyone did a good job. Great breakfast and breakfast room, staff were attentive and kept the breakfast room spotless. Bed was comfortable and quality towels. Loved our stay here.

There was nowhere to hang the towels in the bathroom, but I think the hotel was looking into this. Didn't like shower products in the little sachets, I think a pump action bottle attached to the wall is more practical. The sachet was hard to tear and not much inside. Tea & coffee in the room would've been nice too ^ maybe 1 bottle of water.

The location was excellent, the staff communicated prior to arrival and answered all my question very quickly. The staff was great and helpful, the breakfast was great, wifi was goo. Only one point was the rooms were a little small. But furnished very well and the bathroom was good.I would wholly recommend to anybody The location was right in the middle of the plaza and was excellent to get to eat, sight see and walking.

Not much to complain about. Like I said rooms were on the small side, but furnished good, bathroom was excellent, ahh Elevator was little small but not issue.

Hotel Palazzo Benci is right in the heart of Florence’s historical centre, just minutes from the Duomo. There are numerous restaurants and bars right outside the hotel, making it easy to enjoy the local food and nightlife. The hotel has a small, cozy feel that adds to its charm. The single room, although compact, was clean and comfortable.

The windows are not soundproof, so street noise continued late into the night, which made it hard to sleep. The breakfast was decent but nothing special or memorable. The hotel felt overpriced for what it offered, although this seems to be the norm in Florence, particularly during the high season.

Location, location... That was the main reason we chose this hotel. Also, it was important that it had a lift/elevator, quite a rarity in old buildings. If we leaned out of our window, we could touch the Medici Chapel (well, not exactly, but close). For some reasons, the hotel did not furnish electric kettles in the rooms. However, hot water is available at any time from the empty bar at the reception level. It may be important for those who need a cup tea often. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room, the only true remnant of the palazzo.

The room on the fourth floor was small, even by Italian historic center hotels, but we asked for a quite room, so perhaps the rooms at the top floor are smaller. The breakfast was adequate; we missed something hot but it is not everyone's preference.

Fantastic location! Short walk from train station and centrally located to all tourist sites. lots of food options nearby and short walk to market and Centrale Mercato. Breakfast was very good with lots of options although limited cooked options except for boiled eggs. Staff were friendly which was appreciated as there were lots of places in Italy that weren't friendly at all. Concept of service is quite different in Italy.

Beware that cooling is only available from May to October ( centralised system) so we had to open the window to get some fresh air in room and there were mosquitos around.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Palazzo Benci. The room was super nice and modern and clean. The location is ideal since it is close to everything you need to visit in Florence! The breakfast was also great! The staff were super welcoming and helpful. I really recommend this hotel! I will be coming back for sure!

Only downside is that they give 1 towel only (extra cost if you require another one)

This hotel actually exceeded my expectations. I know European hotels can be a mixed bag, but the rooms were new, and it was very clean and convenient. I like it a lot and would highly recommend. There was nearby laundry self-service, and the hotel staff were all super, super nice and friendly. It really meant a lot to me how helpful and kind they were with all my questions. You can just tell they want you to have the best time, and they care about your experience. I think in general Florence can feel a bit like a tourist trap, but this hotel had so much Italian warmth and hospitality. Would come again! Also the location was amazing. Right by tram for airport and close to Mercato Centrale and most of the attractions. Really was super ideal.

The room was a little cold, but it was a necessity because of the mosquitos during this time of the year. And the little fridge (which I was happy to have at all!) was a bit icy. The showers are also very small, and I'm a smaller person, but even for me it was snug. If you're very tall, it would be a bit uncomfortable.

Comfortable small hotel right in heart of Florence. I would recommend it for travelers for 3-5 days ( I stayed 4 night). Easy to rich any historical place by feet. Excellent breakfast with prassuto, ham, cheese, fruits, eggs, yogurt coffee, and very clean area for breakfast. Also find out nice garden on first floor behind building. Also a lot of places to eat just next to hotel. Stuff was very helpful and friendly with explanations and calling taxi.

For some reason they did not replenish toiletries for 3 days (same piece of soap) until i asked them. Also it is located in the heart of Florence and at late evening could be a lot noise from the street.

Staff were super friendly and helpful (they even posted my postcard for me). Location of the hotel is fantastic, right next to the Cappelle Medicee and San Lorenzo Church. It's also just a few minutes walking between the hotel and the tram stop or train station. There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby, also a few supermarkets. You can get everywhere on foot from this hotel. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. There are a double set of windows which were great to keep out the noise from outside. There were toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo / conditioner / shower gel, tissues, shower cap, soap). My room was pretty spacious for European standards and for me as I had booked a single room but they gave me a double. The bed was very comfy. There is a courtyard garden where you can relax and enjoy some quiet time, you can also order a drink at the bar. Breakfast was buffet style with mostly cold options. There was filter coffee but also a machine where you could choose other types of coffee. If I visit Florence again, I will definitely stay here again.

A power plug near the table / desk would have been handy. My room was just in front of the kitchen so every morning there was a bit of noise from the preparation of breakfast. And there was some noise from the hall and neighbours but that's the case in every hotel I've been. The shower door was a bit on the small side. There was a mirror above the headboard of the bed which wasn't very useful.
