Great location, clean facilities, excellent breakfast.

Mosquitoes - we didn't know and in the night our daughter was bit in multiple spots.

The location is wonderful! At short walking distances to major attractions like the Main Cathedral, Art Gallery, Museums, etc. Even if the streets are very busy, it's quiet in the room; I did not hear the noise from outside. The toilet and facilities are excellent. The breakfast is delicious. The room for breakfast is not so spacious but otherwise it's good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can store your luggage for the day until you need to leave the city. There is also an agreement with a nearby garage, so if you come by car, you can leave it there. The garage takes care to register your car so that you avoid the pollution tax in the city. The street in front of the hotel is full of restaurants, so for lunch and dinner the possibilities are varied and delicious. If you come by car and use Navigation app to reach the garage, you should be cautious because there are many one-way roads and the maps may not be updated. So, in my case, there was a little fuss (around 10 minutes delay) for reaching the garage.

I cannot find major issues. Just small points to improve, as I mentioned in the previous review: POSSIBLY directions provided by the reception in the message (maybe it was the case, but I did not notice it); POSSIBLY improving the breakfast area. Otherwise, it's good!

The hotel is perfectly located not too far from the sights or the Railway station. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The room we had was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was of a good standard with a good choice for a smaller hotel such as this. If we are back in Florence again we would happily choose this hotel again.

Staff were excellent, location couldnt have been better, breakfast was excellent. Room size was ideal for the 3 of us.

Minor point in that the breakfast room was a little small leading to little flexibility with what time you could eat in the morning. regards the room there was very little in the way of natural light and no view at all.

First and foremost the staff was exceptional. We would particularly like to thank Alessandro at the front desk as he was friendly, welcoming, helpful and informative. He took a great deal of time with us helping find our way through Florence to the car rental agency and provide great directions on where to park after we picked up the car. He was a wealth of information and just fun to talk with. He was superb and the other front desk folks and breakfast room staff were very good as well. The location is great - very close to the main sites such as the Medici Chapel and the Duomo. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean.

Small room. No elevator. Simple cold breakfast. Somewhat limited selection.

The hotel is located close to the station. The room was warm and quiet.

Unfortunately, the hotel has no lift and it may not be accessible for disabled people. I wish the staff could be courteous enough to help with the luggage, it would have been a nice gesture. As soon as I entered the place I started sneezing, I think there may be a bit of dust all around, probably because it is an old building.

Location was convenient for walking to hisrorical sites and museums; breakfast was superb with fresh fruit, milk, juice, coffee, tartare and pastries, healthy cereal and sliced meat. And it was clean and neat.

The location was excellent, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Towels were replaced and new shampoo/shower gel received daily, the breakfast was basic but good.

It was smaller than the impression I got from the pictures, and I don't remember seeing an indication that there is no lift, or that there are even more steps to climb once inside the hotel. This is just a personal preference, but I would have liked to also have some conditioner. Also, the towel rack was damaged, so I needed to be careful with it.

Great location, spacious room, friendly staff, good breakfast. Alessandro was extremely helpful with information about the city, and even carried our bags to the taxi after calling for our ride to the airport. This location is ideal, walking distance to the SMN train station, to all the important sights of the city, and a great buzz in the evening with all the restaurants and even live jazz band in the street. Just a few steps away from the San Lorenzo Basilica and Medici museum. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Nothing to dislike. Just beware there’s a flight of steps to walk up to reception, and a few stairs to traverse on the way to the rooms.

Breakfast was excellent. The location was only a short walk to major tourist attractions. Local restaurants were excellent. Short walk from train station. Quiet in the hotel even though busy outside.
