This hotel ended up being in a great location for walking to several things we wanted to see. They graciously held our bags safely until we could check in. It was spotlessly clean and quite comfortable, even if the room was a bit tight and the beds on the firm side. The breakfast was amazingly fresh, with both hot and cold options, and included excellent pastries - and the cappuccino one of the best we had in Italy!

The staff, while friendly enough, seemed a little lacking in energy, and could not accommodate their 2 p.m. check-in time, forcing us to wait a half hour when we were already quite tired, and couldn't make any change for a larger bill. Although the location itself worked out well for us, the hotel is not located on the nicest street and I would not have been comfortable walking alone in the evening,

It really feels like home away from home. The staff serving breakfast made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent, and they were very kind to us. I have never had such delicious orange juice anywhere else. The hotel was clean, safe, comfortable and well-appointed. And the front desk staff was always available and willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, etc. I hope to come back to Globus Firenze hotel for a full week and have a more relaxed visit, where I can feel like I have seen Firenze.

Great location, lots of restaurants, shops and walking distance to all main points. Couple blocks from the train station. Staff is amazing, and helped us with recommendations, reservations and suggestions. Breakfast was very good, a mix of american and European cuisines. The hotel was really clean, room and bathroom were extremely clean. They would leave a surprise in the room for my kids every night and also left us the cutest note on the last night! I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing- it was really nice

Brilliant location only 5 minutes walk from the railway station and the Duomo in the either direction, in my opinion a better location than where most of the bigger hotels are. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular one young chap who gave me lots of useful tips for my onward travels in Tuscany. The small treat on departure was a lovely touch.

The single room was advertised as quite small but it was actually okay for one person. The bathroom was a tight squeeze though. The breakfast is very basic.

Breakfast is excellent. Best meal of each day for us. The quadruple room we had was spacious. There were a few issues, such as heating, lighting but the staff resolved them quickly.

The only complaint is they are going through renovations and we were not forewarned with loud pounding from 8AM-5PM. We were jetlagged as Florence was our first stop. We couldn't take any nap with the pounding right above us. They stopped for 30 minutes after we complained. It was painful to have that noise when we badly needed a rest.

Wow wow wow Just book it ! Shout out to the staff-Giovanni helped make reservations for dinner for us and would generally start conversations to ask us about our stay and seemed genuinely interested, Mia (I hope that was her name) she helps with breakfast and is Hispanic- she always greeted us with a smile and said good morning and was one of the only workers who had amazing customer service, maintenance man-helped us with the tv and would always say hi.

Truly enjoyed my stay here! Every member of the staff was lovely, super welcoming and accommodating - especially the blonde girl from reception (sorry, didn't get her name!). The room was ideal for a solo traveller - it had all the necessary amenities, was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The location is lovely too, right next to the Mercato Centrale which is useful to grab a quick bite/drink, and only five minutes away from Piazza del Duomo. If you enjoy walking then this is a great choice to explore this beautiful city. Will definitely reconsider for a future stay (hopefully very soon).

Everything was amazing, the staff were very accommodating and even prepared bags for us to take in the morning with breakfast inside when we were going to be too early for a sit down breakfast. My colleague wanted to practice his Italian and the reception staff were great at accommodating him and having conversations in the morning. We stayed in the single rooms and were very nicely surprised at the size of the beds, they were a good size, much bigger than a standard single. One morning my colleague left his wallet on the table and the staff went out of their way to call me to let me know that they had it and kept it safe until we returned in the evening.

Small, but cozy and clean room on the third floor. We had everything we needed in it including small fridge and kettle. Breakfast was included and it was a great start of our days. Fresh fruits, pastry, eggs, pancakes, bacon, you name it. Final touch with a postcard and cookies in a small bag at the day we left on the door handle - this is how every hotel should do. Such a small thing, but it made my day. Thank you to great hotel staff!

For tall people like I am (195cm) the bed was short. Though it is super subjective, since for majority of people it won’t be a problem. Open Wi-Fi I see as a super bad practice since many people might not use it as not secure. And yeah, it was the slowest elevator I’ve seen in 31 years 😆
