I recently stayed at BB lorenzo de medici and I cannot express how pleased I was with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after long days of exploring the city. The hotel’s location is also ideal, close to major attraction where we could relax without any noise thanks to soundproof windows. Breakfast was nice and coffee machine and the coffee capsules they left for us were good. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional and memorable stay! Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special.

We stayed at B&B Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal—just a 10-minute walk from the train station and right in the city center. Our room was very clean, and the breakfast was great. Carmine was super helpful and even offered to do our laundry for free, which was a nice bonus. The price was fair, making it an excellent value. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Florence!

Excellent accommodation, superb location with a very attentive host My partner and I spent a weekend in Florence and had an amazing stay here. The accommodation is a short walk from the tram station and the central market with easy access to all the major sites. Our room was clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with a lovely bottle of Chianti awaiting our arrival. The breakfast is extensive with a good range of options and a great choice of good quality products. The host, Celestine, is the kindest, most caring and considerate man you will ever meet who went above and beyond in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay and our weekend away in Florence. His communication pre-arrival was excellent with very clear directions and instructions. He greeted us on arrival and carried our cases up two flights of stairs, and then spent time with us making some excellent suggestions/recommendations in terms of restaurants and places to visit. My partner was seriously unwell on our last day of our stay and Celestine checked in with me sending regular messages to see if he was ok or needed anything. Following the cancellation of our flight back to the UK on the Sunday evening due to the storm, Celestine was extremely helpful in allowing us to keep our room and extend our stay for another night. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking to stay in Florence

The B&B was easy to access via train. Carmine is an amazing host, he contacted us beforehand, sent us a map of the location, and informed us about our stay. he was very helpful. the room was very clean and had everything we could ask for. Breakfast was delicious. we left our baggages after the check out to explore the city. Thank you for making Florence an amazing trip for us! hope to see you again.

Carmine is the best host - he really goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy. He provided us with lots of recommendations for restaurants, kindly helped us with our luggage, and was super responsive. Thank you, Carmine!

The bed was a little hard. Also, the location is directly above the leather market, so it's definitely not a quiet neighbourhood (although the rooms are pretty well insulated from the noise below).

Carmine is the best host we’ve ever had! He made us feel so welcomed the entire 4days we spent there. Extremely accommodating. Our initial room was having maintenance done on the AC, so he graciously moved us to room with a working AC. The room was spacious and very clean. The coffee/expresso maker in room was delicious. The breakfast was so delicious and a variety of options to choose from and is served in a separate kitchen/dining room. Carmine is reachable via phone all the time. We got complimentary wine, chocolates, bottled water, beer, and soda. This place is about 100feet from Mercado Centrale which has the most delicious Italian food. The next time we’re in Florence this is where we will definitely stay! Gracie mille Carmine!

N/A . Nothing to not like. Everything was 10/10!

Location was absolutely spot on. Close to train station, close to all little restaurants and with Bazar just under the window. Building opposite has fresh food market on the first floor and some places to eat, but second floor is mainly food. Worth the visit. From day one we had great experience. Carmine and Silvana took great care of us and our room. Breakfasts were great and hospitality superb. Carmine ensures there are gluten free options and some for lactose intolerant people. I am so glad we went with all the reviews from other people. This location made it easier for us to plan day trip to Venice and Pisa and also enjoy the beautiful Florence. My heart already misses Italy! If you want great place to stay with amazing human beings, don't look further and book here.

Honestly? I don't think there was anything we did not like.

From the start, Carmine was attentive and informative, ensuring we had a fantastic stay. The location was unbeatable, less than a 10 minute walk tot he train station and all main tourist hotspots. Would definitely stay again without hesitation and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Carmine for being the best host we have experienced and for providing such a lovely, large, clean room.

Unfortunately you are on a main street, which means you can hear everything outside, including people chatting at night and the market which is set up outside every day - bring earplugs and you'll be fine.

The property is within walking distance from the train station Santa Maria Novella and also important landmarks. The room was spotless and cleaned everyday. We were also provided with toiletries and free hot and cold beverages which were replenished on a daily basis. Carmine, the host was very helpful and also provided it with useful information to make our stay in Florence memorable. The property also felt very safe despite being in the centre of Florence.

Nothing. A constructive feedback would be to include more healthy options in the breakfast for e.g. avocados, kiwis and berries (bananas, apples and tangerines were provided). Another suggestion would be to add seeds and nuts and oats. In all fairness Carmine did ask us from day 1 if we wanted anything specific for breakfast.
