I recently stayed at BB lorenzo de medici and I cannot express how pleased I was with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after long days of exploring the city. The hotel’s location is also ideal, close to major attraction where we could relax without any noise thanks to soundproof windows. Breakfast was nice and coffee machine and the coffee capsules they left for us were good. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional and memorable stay! Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special.

We stayed at B&B Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal—just a 10-minute walk from the train station and right in the city center. Our room was very clean, and the breakfast was great. Carmine was super helpful and even offered to do our laundry for free, which was a nice bonus. The price was fair, making it an excellent value. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Florence!

Carmine the host was exceptional on every level. He was available to help with every need from carrying our luggage, to organising activities, calling taxis etc. he was always around the property and available to reach on WhatsApp also. He went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable and took the stress out of travelling. The breakfast had everything you could wish for and was fresh and tasty with local ingredients and pastries etc.. treats were left in our room on arrival. The room was serviced daily and topped up with necessities. The location was central to all attractions and walking distance to everything. There is a market for fresh food and shopping right near the property. Will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.. we also made a friend for life ! Thank you again Carmine numero uno!!

Excellent accommodation, superb location with a very attentive host My partner and I spent a weekend in Florence and had an amazing stay here. The accommodation is a short walk from the tram station and the central market with easy access to all the major sites. Our room was clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with a lovely bottle of Chianti awaiting our arrival. The breakfast is extensive with a good range of options and a great choice of good quality products. The host, Celestine, is the kindest, most caring and considerate man you will ever meet who went above and beyond in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay and our weekend away in Florence. His communication pre-arrival was excellent with very clear directions and instructions. He greeted us on arrival and carried our cases up two flights of stairs, and then spent time with us making some excellent suggestions/recommendations in terms of restaurants and places to visit. My partner was seriously unwell on our last day of our stay and Celestine checked in with me sending regular messages to see if he was ok or needed anything. Following the cancellation of our flight back to the UK on the Sunday evening due to the storm, Celestine was extremely helpful in allowing us to keep our room and extend our stay for another night. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking to stay in Florence

We could never have imagined the perfect stay that awaited us at B&B Lorenzo. Having only stayed in 4- and 5-star accommodation before, I didn’t expect a small B&B to surpass our expectations — but it truly did. Carmene, the owner and our gracious host, is the most perfect gentleman you will ever meet. When we lost our way, we called him for directions and he told us to wait — he would come and find us. He did, and then proceeded to carry our combined 80 kg of luggage up to our room! Our room was beautifully renovated, with thoughtful little gifts left on both bedside tables. Carmene personally explained the amenities and even offered to make me tea. When I asked for peppermint, he didn’t have any — but 10 minutes later, he knocked on our door with a box of Twinings mint tea he had just rushed out to buy for us. Carmene’s generosity of spirit continued throughout our stay: When I became unwell, he checked on me daily and offered to speak to a local doctor on my behalf. My husband had been turned away from barbers across Europe, but when I mentioned this to Carmene, he immediately called a renowned female barber — known for being featured in the New York Post — and arranged a haircut for him. Each morning, Carmene personally laid out a breakfast that could rival many 4-star hotels. The variety and presentation were exceptional. When it was finally time to leave, we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. True to form, Carmene insisted on carrying our luggage again and walked us to a safe spot while he personally called a taxi for us. Everything Carmene does comes from a place of love and passion for caring for his guests. He has created a beautiful haven at B&B Lorenzo, and we are excited to see his next venture — a restaurant he is opening on the ground floor. We wish him every success and the very best of health. And finally, if Carmene ever visits Australia, we would be honoured to host him, to repay even a fraction of the kindness he showed us.

The B&B was easy to access via train. Carmine is an amazing host, he contacted us beforehand, sent us a map of the location, and informed us about our stay. he was very helpful. the room was very clean and had everything we could ask for. Breakfast was delicious. we left our baggages after the check out to explore the city. Thank you for making Florence an amazing trip for us! hope to see you again.

This is an exceptional B&B. It's extremely clean and comfortable. The rooms are larger than most B&B's and hotels. My wife and I could actually leave both suitcases open. The rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated, so everything works and still looks new. The bed is very comfortable and it's very quiet so we slept great. Carmine, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating. He truly cares about your comfort and providing an excellent experience. The location is exceptional. We will return.

We had a wonderful stay in b&b!! Very close to the station and the center of the town!! Very good restaurants and Coffee shops were near us!!! The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed!!! A complimentary bottle of wine as well as chocolate treats were destined to welcome us when we entered!!! The breakfast had a variety of cereals,sweets and you were free to open the fridge and take anything you liked!!! The girl who was in the kitchen and cleaned was polite and helpful!!! But most of all Carmine was exceptional!!! We've never met a person like him!!! Extremely helpful,friendly,polite,ready to assist us and guide us as if he were our old best friend!!! Pros: excellent AC, great price for what you get, free laundry service!!! breakfast, location (easy walk to train, Duomo, in the market) cleanliness, hospitality, laundry service, amenities, no street noise, water cooler to refill bottles, bottle of wine and drinks in fridge.

three flights of stairs (the host carried my luggage upon arrival), firm beds (good for my back), views, occasionally a door buzzes when u enter your room, so sometimes u can hear that when others enter.
