It seemed the staff were waiting for us when we arrived in the taxi after dropping off our rental car in another part of Firenze. They immediatly took charge settling us down in the lobby with a prosecco and cappuchino while we completed the registration information. We were explained the procedures, taken to our room, and later the porter delivered our bags. The woman who worked the bar in the evening was absolutely excellent and the staff as a whole did better than expected. You earned your five stars with us and we'll stay there again on our next Firenze visit.

Everything was done exceptionally well in our eyes, not need for improvement.

Amazing location, right in the heart of Florence. The rooms are beautiful and cleanliness is first class. The facilities are perfect, just what you need and the decor is beautiful and eclectic. Finally, the staff. This hotel is blessed with the most helpful and courteous staff I have ever personally met at a hotel (and I have visited many countries and hotels).

Hotel Number Nine is definitely in the top hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We were in Florence to celebrate my husband’s 30th and the staff made our stay a very memorable experience from helping me to organise balloons and bubbles on arrival to surprising him with a birthday cake at breakfast. We are so thankful to everyone at the hotel for a wonderful stay! The hotel was incredibly clean, breakfast was fabulous and the service was 10/10. Need to also mention the gym and the fact that guests can also take part in free workout classes. Great location too, literally 3 mins from the Duomo. If you get a chance to book, do not hesitate! If back in Florence, this would be our first choice to stay.

Location - 2 mins from the Duomo or the central food market Part of a Private member club with a Friday music night - v good fun, nice atmosphere Lovely steam rooms / hammam area - felt fantastic after an hour in there Very comfortable large bed Congenial and friendly staff - very hospitable and lovely people

Temperature control in shower stuck (on relatively hot temperature for me) Safe not working - broken door For me the layout / decoration / fixtures / fittings and therefore atmosphere didn’t hit the mark - very eclectic and mad but not elegant with it, slightly rabbit warren internally - Suspect I’m not target market (51F). Didn’t feel the level of luxury I would expect at the rate I paid (and have paid in other Florence hotels)

The property was absolutely beautiful and centrally located. From the staff to the room and the overall ambiance, everything was truly five stars. The attention to detail and exceptional service from every single staff member were outstanding. Turn-down service, fresh linens, and having the bed made twice a day were thoughtful touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room spacious, and the bathroom generous in size. There was no hard water, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was an amazing stay. I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels, but this one stands out as the best by far. From the impeccable customer service to the perfect room and even arranging cabs—it was all perfection!

Nothing.

A stunning and extraordinary hotel right in the centre and close to many of Florences beautiful sights churches and galleries. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful . There was a great gym as well as mat pilates classes. In the late afternoon we could relax and recover in the spa after all the sight seeing. The staff were wonderful and incredibly helpful making every effort to make it an unforgettable stay - it was a trip to mark my husband’s birthday and this beautiful family rum hotel certainly did that. The icing on the cake was their in house Jazz members club in which we had 2 wonderful nights ( food was exquisite) The show ( Max and Frank) was do much fun. Thank you Ginevra and Max - we will be back

It's in an amazing location, just around the corner from the Duomo. The hotel decor is fabulously quirky and feels like a true boutique hotel. Breakfast was a la carte (which I prefer) - excellent quality, generous and very speedy. The rooms were very spacious, absolutely immaculate, super comfy beds. The bathroom was huge with Diptyque toiletries.

One tiny niggle: I was travelling with work (I'd booked 4 rooms). All of us had a bottle of prosecco on ice waiting for us in our room, which was a lovely touch. As we didn't have them the first evening, when we arrived back in our room on the second day, the bottles were removed with a note to say they'd been put in the bar fridge and to call reception if we wanted them and they would bring them back up to the room. Firstly, no one answered at reception, so we went down to ask for the prosecco. Were told they would be sent up to the room straight away. We waited 45 minutes, by which time we didn't have time to enjoy before heading down to dinner. Just a little niggle, nothing major.

This is an exellent hotel, the staff are friendly and helpfull at all times. the location is just great right in the middle of the city, everything can be reached on foot. The room is of very high standards and very spacious, unfortunatly what let it down was that we had no control of the airconditioning (temperature set by hotel) under the pretext of enviorment protection, somthing which we did't expect at this level. Very clean and decorated to high standards.

Lack of tempreture control in the room,

The hotel is perfectly positioned, within a few minutes walk of the Duomo. The team at the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. We had an unusual request before we arrived and they went out of their way to ensure we were fully looked after. It was also our honeymoon and they gave us an incredible room upgrade, which was very generous of them. Special mention for the receptionist Luisa, who had helped with our pre-arrival request, and decided to wait after her shift was due to end, just to meet us on our arrival. What a lovely personal touch. Cannot fault this place
