Great location and host was friendly and helpful.

The city tax was higher than advertised but apart from that everything was great

The accommodation was wonderful; very clean and comfortable and we loved the ornate decor.The room was spacious for our family. We especially liked having the salon to sit in and watch the world go by from the window. Merlie was so helpful and friendly at check in and throughout our stay, what a gem.

Not many outlets in the room to charge devices, but it's an old building so this is understandable. Didn't realise there wouldn't be a lift!

This was my best stay in Italy! The entire experience was absolutely magical. From the stunning location and incredible staff to the beauty of the room—everything was perfect! It rained the whole time during our stay, but that only made Florence feel even more enchanting. The hotel’s location was ideal, right in the heart of everything—restaurants, shops, and landmarks—making it easy to explore entirely on foot. Oh, and we had the best pizza just a few buildings away at Simbiosi! The wonderful lady at the front desk recommended it, and it was an organic pizza place that was absolutely delicious! This location was a step back in time of beauty! The Venetian style and location were incredible. The staff was amazing super sweet. Helped with baggage. Helped set up a taxi for a very early morning trip back to the airport and even text to make sure everything went OK before I got onto the plane. Incredible service.

There was only one thing that was not preferable about the location and it was the fact it did not have an elevator. The staff will help you bring your suitcases up the stairs, but it is something to note. Outstanding place though.

lovely big room, great, comfy, big bed. All very clean. Good coffee machine in reception, helpful receptionist. Very good location, great restaurants and sights very close. Car parking and station not far. Small balcony.

shower was too small- mainly because of the bulkhead of the unnecessary jacuzzi bits-it was a tiny cubicle so would have been better with a normal power shower. No tea and coffee and milk in room-had to fetch from reception which is not ideal in the morning. Lots of stairs to climb with heavy bags-very dangerous at night as no lighting in the stairwell that we could find and I slipped on the stairs going down. No option for breakfast was disappointing especially as the photos are on the website showing the breakfasts.

We stayed for five nights in oktober-24. The location is perfect, onley a few minutes walk to all important sights in Florens. It was very clean, and the room and bathroom were in a good size. There was a water cooler, and an espresso machine in the dining room area. You are able too leave your luggage at the hotel at arriwal and check out. Be ware of the four stairs without elevator, to reach the hotel.  Our hostess was amazing, very kind and helpfull. Our warmest recommendations. E&M

Fantastic location and the host was extremely nice. She very kindly let us store our luggage after check out for a number of hours. We had even accidentally left something in the room and they put it on our suitcase for us. Free cold water was provided in the reception area.

Some areas of the bathroom needed a bit more cleaning - the towel rail was super dusty and there was a tiny bit of mould in the shower, but this was really minor

Excellent location, unfortunatly no breakfast, but there are a lot of stores and coffee shops allaround the place! The room was beautiful, large and clean, our host Mady was cordial and gentle, warm and helpful in any ocasion. The appartment is also equped in hystoric stile with many pictures and furniture from some other times and made us feel as if we were sorrounded with spirits of Medici.We would definitly choose this place again if we come to Florence again!

There are no hangers in the bathroom to hang our towels.... But everything els is just perfect!

Excellent location, everything was walking distance, lovely receptionist, free tea/coffee and biscuits in the lounge area, rooms have a nice renaissance vibe.

Not a big deal, but just take note that if you have heavy or alot of luggage then you will have to carry it up a few flights of stairs. Also it can be noisy if you are loud, so just be mindful of other guests as you enter and exit. Lastly, a lot of little notes about what you can and can't do all around the place, just keep them on a one page document in the room maybe?

The lady who manages the apartments was fantastic... so helpful and sweet. She really made us feel at home and let us use her fridge to store our perishables. Free coffee and snacks were appreciated, too. Bed was comfy. Good location in the centre of town.

The room is pretty standard ... no bar fridge but pleasant to come to after a big day of exploring Florence.
