The location is perfect. The staff are very friendly. The room was cleaned daily. It's a quirky hotel, and I loved the staircase, and it's connection with Pinocchio. The little cakes for breakfast were delicious.

The size of the breakfast room. It was very small and cramped at times. Even though I loved the cakes, and the coffee was perfect, the rest of the food was just adequate. I was disappointed with the bread still in its wrapping from the supermarket. There was a tray with meat and cheese, but nothing to go with it, like tomatoes or cucumber. There was another empty tray with a lid, so I'm assuming there would have been something else to go there. The only other let down was the hairdryer. There's no way you can style your hair. The nozzle gets red hot and hard to handle. It just blasts air like a hand dryer.

Everything about our stay here exceeded our expectations. Upon check in, the staff was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was exactly what we needed for a family of four (Adult child and teenager), we were able to spread out and have plenty of space. The loft was great. The additional things that made this stay great may seem simple, but they just made this our favorite place we stayed for our entire trip. Things like a fan in the room, plenty of storage space for our bags, shelves in the bathroom for you toiletries, tasty coffee in the room, mini fridge, power adapters, and additional space in the room to just sit in comfy chairs or sit at the desk and write postcards. The hotel over all was clean, offered a really nice breakfast and a simple rooftop terrace that was great to just sit in the morning and drink your coffee. Location of the hotel was perfect as well. Not far from the train station and walking distance to most of the attractions. The market near by was fun to browse through.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the expected facilities, coffee and tea making facilities, a safe, a TV, a hairdryer etc. The location to the city centre was great. We were just a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral and most of the main museums. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing advice on where to eat and drink.

The room was very small, but as we were only there for 2 nights and only slept there, it wasn't a problem. However, for stays longer than 1 or 2 nights, the room would feel a bit claustrophobic. We stayed in room 402.

Fantastic location, close to duomo, central market, train station, a few minutes walk from many key tourist attractions. Very clean & kept so every day. Staff on reception / breakfast very pleasant.

Breakfast- limited, not much selection & nothing like the breakfasts we’ve had elsewhere in Italy, but adequate if you’re after something light like coffee & croissants. Room sound - could very easily hear other guests in their rooms and walking past in the corridor, which made it hard to sleep with noisy guests.

A wonderful pearl in the middle of Florence. Walking distance to all monuments. Very kind, helpfull and professional staff. We stayed in junior suite, very clean and spacious with the soul of Florence. A lot of places to put your luggage. A lot of towels and clean bathroom. A wonderful breakfast! We will come back! COMPLIMENTI!

The breakfast was perfect--nice selection and very fresh. The hotel staff were welcoming, accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. The location is exceptional; everything we wanted to see was in walking distance.

Nothing--we had a good sized room that was comfortable and very clean. We loved the place. Nice atmosphere--not plastic and sterile like the large chain hotels!

Hotel Collodi is perfect, it's small but very special with wonderful staff and great location. The rooms are all unique with beautiful finishing. The local jelly sweets that are complimentary at the reception desk are extremely delicious! The manager especially was a kind and helpful man making us feel very welcome. Would recommend this hotel for anyone, families. Couples or solo travellers.

The location was ideal for seeing Florence. The owners were gracious and accommodating. Hotel is beautifully remodeled and our room was absolutely lovely. Especially for Europe, the bathrooms are large and comfortable.

The breakfast was very unremarkable. It could have been the breakfast offered in a cheap motel in the U.S. From Italy... I expect more. I would recommend that the owners offer their guests less selection and more authenticity and quality.

I love the Italian authenticity and attention to detail as well as the delightful and intimate breakfast area. I love the dependably pleasant and genuine warmth and greeting every time we came through reception. I love the location as it is central and easy to find. The rooms are all beautifully appointed and simply perfect.

This hotel is a gem. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The room was charming and classic European. Very well appointed especially the bathroom, which had everything a traveler needs. The breakfast included was very good with a wide array of choices. The location is great - walkable distance to all major attractions in Florence.
