Enrico and Filippo are wonderful hosts! So welcoming and kind. The b&b is beautifully decorated. It has an excellent location, close to cafes, restaurants, shops, the main train station and anything you might need. It is in walking distance to all the major sites in Florence. Attention to detail in each room, cleanliness and a lovely breakfast room make for a very comfortable stay. Our bed was so comfortable and welcoming after a day of walking and exploring the city. We recommend that you take advantage of the delicious breakfast that's available (for a small additional cost) consisting of yogurts, fresh fruit, delicious cake, cheeses, jams, nuts, coffee, teas and juice. Everything was fresh and served with a smile. Everything that travelers might need has been considered and we really appreciated this. We highly recommend La Stella D'Oro b&b. The host Enrico was very welcoming and provided excellent advice with dining options and directions. The B&B was within an easy walking distance of the train station and the historic center, restaurants and shops. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and the shower was nice with good pressure and plenty of hot water.

The fact that the electricity key was permanently attached to the door keys which made it hard to lock the door at night without a flashlight.

Was greeted by the warm hospitality from the friendly Host (Enrico) with all the necessary arrangements from early check in & arrangements of the 2 way airport transfer request! Location was superb with everywhere especially from the train station (11 mins walk) and to the city centre (around less than 15 mins walk)! Room was spacious and clean with well equipped facilities! Definitely highly recommend to anyone who is planning for a stay in this beautiful Florence city!

The location of the property was perfect! It was walkable to the train station about 10 mins walk, short walk to the Mercato central, restaurants, shopping and sights. The staff was nice and responsive, especially Filipo he was very friendly and helpful answered all our questions and made recommendations.

Upon entering, the stairs area of the property has this weird odor not sure if it's from the trash bins outside or the restaurant kitchen next door? The common area and room were CLEAN however we had mosquitoes inside our room🙁. It probably went inside at some point but our windows were closed the entire time. Spent time killing about 8-10 mosquitoes in the beginning. So that was fun hehe

La Stella d’Oro B&B was incredible all around. Enricho and Fillipo were beyond kind, helpful and welcoming. We felt highly taken care of our entire trip. The breakfast served daily was always very fresh and tasty! Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Overall, this was the best place we stayed our entire two week trip to Italy. We will absolutely be back and plan to recommend this B&B to all of our friends and family!

There is honestly not a thing I would recommend to change or do differently at this property. It is truly worth every penny!

The kindness of Filippo and Enrico. They go for extra miles. Very clean B&B, central and great breakfast. The room is very very cute and nicely decorated and with a tea kettle, coffee machine, cookies , water at your disposal and the hosts are very helpful in all situations and they provide you with lots of suggestions.

No bidet in the bathroom but a little shower tube for the toilets. The garbage trucks in the morning but luckily my mum woke up before it and I too...😁I'm very sensitive, despite the window were very well isolated. There are other rooms not facing the street , hence you can go here without hesitation. Maybe put more shower gel and shampoo and add the air conditioner 😁

We absolutely loved the owners, both were so lovely and helpful. Even on WhatsApp when it was out of reception hours they were very responsive. The WiFi was good - free and fast. The room and bathroom were a good size and clean with all the amenities you want. Bed was very comfy and we liked the classic decor of the room. It felt like coming home everyday. The B&B itself was very quiet and we couldn’t hear any other guests really. Location wise, this was perfect - 10 min walk from the station, 15 mins from Ponte Vecchio and 10 from the Duomo. Didn’t have breakfast so couldn’t comment but it looked/smelt great. You can get free still/sparking water from reception. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout which was helpful.

The AC was set to warm because it’s Winter season, but it would have been nice to have the option for both, as we felt warm at night and some AC would have been helped. We didn’t open the window because the bin men and noise was a little loud even with the window closed. Also a tiny suggestion for the room would be to have a few more shelves or drawers for storage space. Lastly, it would have been nice if there was a bathroom available when we collected our luggage before leaving Florence. These things were not dealbreakers or huge issues to us, just small suggestions.

The location was perfect to see all the sights across Florence. All were in walking distance and there were cafe's and restaurants around every corner. Our hosts, Enrico and Filippio were both there to welcome us on our mid-day arrival and were both very helpful with recommendations for our evening meals. There was an option for breakfast and the display and standard of food was excellent and would recommend booking a breakfast at least one of the days.

Great location, very clean rooms, excellent air conditioning, comfortable amenities (shower was one of the biggest I’ve seen in hotel, had a mini fridge, coffee & water accessible). The hosts are SO friendly and kind! We only did breakfast one day here and wish we did it every day, they put out such a lovely spread of food and drinks!

Wasn’t an issue for us, but worth noting no elevator up to the second floor! Hosts were so kind and helped us with our bags though!

Wonderful hotel, excellent room, exceptional service from Enrico and his team. Room had everything we needed, and more, with some lovely little homely touches. Very comfortable bed. Air-con was great as it was really hot outside. Shower was hot and powerful. Fabulous breakfast, great value with a range of fresh and very tasty food. Great location for exploring Florence. Enrico and his team were always very helpful and helped to make our brief stay very memorable. Thank You. Thoroughly recommended, although we would prefer that not too many people book as we would hope to stay here again if we get the chance to return to Florence.
