I loved my stay here. Ulrike the host, is absolutely wonderful. Due to a delay from our airline we needed to arrive a day early and Ulrike was able to accommodate us. She stayed up to let us in when we arrived after the check-in time. She was also very informative showing us the best places to eat, ATMs, Sites to visit, and how to get around. The location is in the center of the everything making it easily walkable. Our room had everything that was needed from a coffee set with hot water to a multiple plug converter. A True Gem 💎 of traditional Florence Style.

Breakfast was suppose to be included on the booking which it was not. There was even a picture of a breakfast room on the listing site. The pictures of the room online show the garden patio which led me to believe you could access it to have a coffee there. Our room had a view of the garden, but it is only accessible when booking the family room.

Location was very convenient and close to several attractions. Ulrike took the time to walk us through a map to help us orient ourselves and plan our trip. It was easy to access and private. The room was comfortable, had A/C, a hair dryer, several outlets, space for luggage, comfortable bed, spacious and clean washroom. Ulrike was helpful with accommodating our luggage in between checkout and when we had to catch our train.

The bath soap was empty and the water wasn't reliably hot. We brought our own toiletries. I don't have much to add to this, because it was a minor point, and overall, the stay was exactly what we wanted.

Wow what a beautiful, unique place to stay, Ulrike is the perfect host, very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all questions we had , we were celebrating two big birthdays and were given a bottle of bubbles to celebrate, that was such a kind and thoughtful gesture, such a comfortable room with everything you need , perfect location and short walk to train station, would definitely recommend

Satya was very welcoming and responsive to our requests, giving us tips for our stay in Florence, lending us umbrellas, etc. The old mansion is very charming!

We stayed the 2-bedroom suite, which has the old mansion's theatre annexed. The downstairs room is very spacious, but the suites area upstairs is quite small in comparison. The bathrooms were also quite small, notably the shower cabins. It is worth noting that the suites are not fully independent - you have to pass through one room to get to the other, which can be an inconvenience depending on the degree of intimacy of the guests. I guess it comes with the limitations of repurposing and old mansion...

The location was ideal to all the city attractions. The host and staff were friendly, helpful with suggestions and went out of their way in assisting us with transportation. Room was quirky and perfect for what we were looking for. I would highly recommend!

The bed was a little uncomfortable, but it is difficult to please everyone. It could just be our old bones🤣

We stayed in the Actor Suite. Loved the charming 18th century decor and elements that were from the original room/building. This gave a very different feel compared to a modern hotel. We especially loved spending time in the outdoor courtyard, had our breakfast there and also sat out there to wind down for the evening before bedtime. 5 star location! only a few minutes walk from the Duomo. And a comfortable stroll to river. Ulrike and Satya were amazing hosts, they texted me to confirm our arrival and departure timings, were there to greet us when we arrived and also sent us off when we left. They also provided useful tips on the sights to see and recommended restaurants.

Not much to dislike about the place. But one practical improvement- provision of mosquito repellent would take it up to the next level! had to kill a number of mosquitos that managed to get in probably through the front door (insect screens were intact)

The rooms are charming, and the outdoor patio that adjoins one of the rooms is lovely. The property is on a quiet street, but it is convenient to Florence’s main attractions. The rooms would be suitable for a family, since one of them had an extra bed, and another was a actually a suite of rooms like a small apartment.

Because the property is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, it doesn’t have hotel amenities.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The owner was beyond kind and welcoming, the room was fantastic, the location was perfect and if we ever get a chance to stay in Florence again I hope we can get a room here. It was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to see.

It felt like we were staying at a home that was designed with love and care. Our host ulrike was always available to help when we needed something. And it was prompt. The little common sit out was a very charming touch.

Beautifully maintained property, clean rooms and a lovely host in the perfect location.

The only suggestion I could make is a couple of bottles of cold water in the fridge would be nice after dragging suitcases from the train station in the hot sun.
