Good sized room for two people with lots of storing options for clothes. Room was on the side of a semi-busy street but windows kept the sound out well. Pretty good view from the second floor. Our room had old electrical sockets (3 pins), but our regular 2 pin chargers fit and worked no problem. The staff was very friendly and we were allowed to keep our bags in the reception area before we checked in and after we checked out.

Great location and did the job. Was able to comfortably accommodate myself and my friend, with comfortable beds and good showers to re charge for the night. Staff were very hospitable and allowed us to leave our bags for no extra charge and gave us a map on where to go and recommended a beautiful Bistecca Restaurant to eat at.

Bit out dated the room style. Parking is a bit of a shocker but not the hotel's fault, just the lay out of the city. We got very lucky and just parked on the street where you are supposed to pay (but we didn't pay and did not get caught haha).

The place is nice, they give you a code to get in which is super comfortable (at least to me) when you are outside during the night. The location is great because you can reach basically everything without using any car/bus/tram, you are close to almost everything and you can walk to the places. The staff is super nice and they also let me leave my backpack on the last day after I've done my checkout so I could still visit the city without heavy stuff on the shoulders lol The place is really quiet, the room was nice and clean, the bathroom too.

We stayed in Florence for 2 nights. 1 room 4 beds. The location of the hotel is  11 minutes walking distance from the station or a short bus ride if you have a lot of luggages. They have a lift and automatic door at the entrance. So no worries if you have luggages or for elderly guests. The rooms and toilet are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Aircondition is working quiet well in the summer heat. They also provide towels and toiletries. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, especially the receptionist Maximo. He even recommended very nice osteria to eat! The cleaning staff Rose also cleaned our room very well. Overall  we very well enjoyed our stay in Hotel St. James and will definitely  recommend this place.

The noise of the street during weekends No coffee machine, no kettle, no welcome water in the room, no fridge I had a baby for whom I shall store his food in the fridge and I could not. And, if I warm to heat up water, I have to go to the reception to ask for that. They were very helpful but mot convenient In addition, you have to ask for the AC remote control. It happened that he have not handed it upon our arrival and we were unable to sleep during the night of the high temperature and no one was at the reception during the might. So we had to wait for the next day

Room was clean, simple but nicely decorated. Tile floors were nice and cool on tired feet after a long days walking about Florence. We had a nice view of park beside hotel. We were able to store our luggage until we had to go catch our train. 10min walk from Duomo, 10min from SMN train station - great location. The little patisserie shop on opposite side of the road was great for coffee and croissant (only €1,50 for a pistachio croissant!)

Only one pillow (I'm a 2-3 pillow gal). Air con wasn't cool enough and no option to change it - it was 34°c outside so needed to be a lot cooler - in the morning it was better to sit outside to cool than in the room. Bed wasn't the comfiest but we were only there one night so not that big a deal - I have back problems, and I did wake up all achey which hasn't happened anywhere else on our trip yet!

We found this hotel to be just right for the price we paid. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Accessing the hotel with codes was straightforward, and the reception is open until late, which was convenient. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive to all our needs. They even allowed us to store our luggage after check-out, which was a big help. The location is excellent—centrally located and close to the main train station. We definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay!

The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was close to the station and a short walk away from all of the main attractions of the city. The staff were super friendly and accommodating when we asked to leave our bags for a few hours at checkout. For the price it was great value for money and it exceeded our expectations.

The room is soo clean and big. the location is perfect which is close to the main train station by walking and most of the attractions and cafes. Also,the man on the reception is so friendly he let us to store our bags in the reception after the check out which that make our day trip in Florence is nice.

The property was in a great location with easy walking distance to the city sights as well as close to the tramway. The room was big with a modern bathroom and was completely spotless.

The room was on the first floor so the lift was only really big enough for 1 person and a big suitcase, so the stairs can be difficult if you have more than one bag, but I would say it was a major issue just takes a bit longer to get up to reception.
