Good location, close to central station, central market, transit and old town center. Easy instructions to access building (once proper location found). Staff were very prompt in replying to messages. Daily housekeeping (not necessary, but thoughtful). Supplied shampoo, toothbrush, etc in room, water machine in lobby. Spacious room, quiet, overlooking little garden.

Location was incorrect (problem with address on ad/map) but prompt reply from staff brought us to the right location, only half a block away (the numbering system is a little funny on that block - not the staffs fault). AC was very weak our first two nights, so it was uncomfortably hot to sleep (over 35C outside during day, kept curtains closed, etc.), but by the third night they fixed it properly and bright us a little fan, so it was much better.

The location of this accommodation was perfect, right in the centre of Florence. Our host was very accommodating and was quick to respond to any queries we had. The room we were originally allocated was too small for a 4 night stay but when we spoke to the host he was more than happy to help and after 1 night was able to offer us another room which we were more than happy with. The facilities were good and we had easy access by foot to the train station and many restaurants and cafes nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The room was comfortable, with a working fridge in order to buy groceries for breakfast. The location was top notch, super close to the historic center, many restaurants and stores. Daniele was very nice in giving us suggestions on where to go in the city.

The location given by the website was off, it was actually about half a block north. Room was cold without the option to turn on the heating (it might be because it was around 16C outside, but we still wanted to make the room warmer). The shower could have been cleaner. The toilet had some trouble flushing.

A bit of a walk from the train station, close to many different areas.

The sidewalks in Florence are narrow and in bad shape especially when walking with luggage. Compared to Rome, the streets and sidewalks with very dirty with alot of litter. I wonder why Florence does not clean like Rome does. Several areas of construction where they were working on the sewer lines for the neighborhood smelled realty bad of raw sewage. The workers should cap and seal at the end of every work day. The street is confusing. The address listed, you get to it, and it is the black section. You need to go the the address in the red section of the street. For a visitor this needs to be made clear.

Everything was great, from check in instructions to the room. It is equipped with a microwave and other kitchen equipment including oil and condiments. Staff was also lovely, with old school manners of serving water when they saw tired guests. They helped us with our luggage too. I highly recommend this place!

I would only point out the bathroom facility. For such a huge room, the toilet-bathroom was very tiny. The space to squeeze into the toilet seat was so narrow, I can't imagine how a big person will be able to do it. Moreover we hurt our ankles more than once on the sharp edge of the shower while trying to access the loo. Better and more reasonable design please!

The staff here were amazing! I had to change hotels last minute. When I arrived to this hotel I was instantly welcomed and the care that they put in towards myself and all customers was exceptional. My room was ready upon arrival in the morning so I was able to go straight in and make myself comfortable. And when I needed to have a train ticket printed without question they printed it for me. Cannot recommend enough and so amazingly thankful for their help and going above and beyond.

The position was wonderful, within walking distance of lots of things. A map was provided by reception. It was easy to find and get in. I would recommend getting a taxi from the station. Because, like a lot of places in Italy, the footpaths were narrow and bumpy. The room was large and comfortable with a fridge and Aircon that worked. The staff were very helpful including getting a taxi to the station for, a task we couldn’t have managed. I loved the automated coffee machine which ground fresh beans. It was free to use.

No lift, which is not uncommon.

Very well located, the room was comfortable and decent sized. Also very much appreciated the added facilities (free access to an espresso machine and ice cold water in the hallway). The proprietor was super helpful with recommendations and I went to some amazing restaurants he suggested.

I was doing some work while travelling and therefore looked for a room which had a desk so I work from the hotel, the listing of this place mentioned a desk but the desk in the room was not comfortable at all to work from. However, as it was a short stay, it didn't have too much of a negative affect.

Air conditioning worked great. The hosts were very helpful. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Overall everything was good and we would return.

The room was a bit small and the sink was inside the room and not on the bathroom, but we made it work. There were no hooks on the bathroom for the towels The shower didn't have a lot of water pressure.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to Duomo, Museums, etc. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem for them. The room was older style and spacious. It had everything we needed. We even tried to stay longer. They were fully booked but helped us to find another close by accommodation.

We over packed as usual so had heavy bags. There are 2 flights of stairs to go up to accommodation. A lift would have made life easier, but obviously the age of the building…
