My stay was wonderful, traveling with friends and family. The rooms were beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like chocolate treats left by our coffee table. Although our first room had a drainage issue, it was promptly resolved by Eleonora, who was attentive and proactive in addressing our concerns. A highlight of our stay was Aman, who made incredible coffee every morning—his kindness, warmth, and attentiveness truly added to our experience. I looked forward to my morning espresso and the delicious mini donuts each day. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a variety of cakes, donuts, and other treats that made each morning special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Great hotel! Clean and spacious, with extremely friendly helpful staff! In a lovely location close to all the sights, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops close by. Only a 15min walk from the train station, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Breakfast was great- large selection of teas, coffee and food. Room was nice, shower lovely! We had a warm welcome for our 30th wedding anniversary- room had a nice view out across local rooftops to the Duomo!

Lift was out of order during our 4 night stay (ok for us but difficult if someone has poor mobility) No ice available in the bar for the last 2 nights of our stay (but the friendly team did offer us a cold drink instead which was very kind) Corridors are too dimly lit

We booked this hotel very last minute (2 hours before check in as another hotel cancelled) to say this was the nicest hotel we've stayed in on a city break is an understatement From the second we arrived Erida greeted us. She was so welcoming and so friendly! We had a slight issue with a machine noise in our room and on the second morning Erida sorted this, like a true professional and was so kind. There wasn't enough she could do for us. The location is absolutely ideal for sight seeing or travellers in Florence. It's situated on a quiet road. Less than 10 mins to the train station and 5 mins to the main Duomo square! There's so many nice restaurants near too!!! I've never stayed in these hotels so I was nervous. But the service is extremely good. We were greeted by the wonderful Aman and Mariam for breakfast each day. Breakfast is on until 12pm, which was brilliant as we could go sight seeing and have breakfast early or later. The quality of the food was brilliant and by day 5 Aman greeted us as if we were family. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I can't wait to stay in another Room Mate hotel on my travels.

The hospitality was exceptional. The room and facilities are beautiful, with many amenities offered. The building is cheerful, perfectly located, with cold AC and niceties such as toiletries, a mini bar, and evening pub available. The breakfast has a generous selection, and excellent extended hours (easy for those with jet lag, or an awkward schedule). The staff were very kind and accommodating (especially the man who serves at breakfast!) and the reception staff were incredibly helpful with holding my luggage, and assisting with a taxi. I can't stress how perfect the location is - it's very quiet overall, but located perfectly for a short walk to most destinations of interest.

My room was above the elevator and reception - not a good location for me, as guests come in very late (3am) and also begin rising for breakfast very early (7am). If you are a light sleeper, and please request a different room.

Great location, less than 5 mins walk to accademia galleria, and everything else within 15-20 mins walk max. Was able to pop back to the room in between things because it was so close. 24h reception is very helpful as we arrived late at night and left early in the morning due to our flight times and the staff were very friendly. Room was fairly small but very clean and the bed was very large and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of options, including for vegetarians and it is available until 12pm which is great if you want to have a lie in too! Also was great to have the air conditioning in the room too as it was 37° when we were here!

We really liked what they have done with the place, an older building met with a modern and fresh style. The place feels homely and comfortable. A cosy bed, powerful showers, nearly sound proof windows (with everything closed at night you can barely hear a thing from the outside world, despite being next to a busy road). The breakfast was brilliant, served 7am till midday. Plus they change up a few fresh cooked items daily to keep it interesting. Location is excellent, 10-12 minutes walk from the station with luggage. Then all the sights are a mere 5 - 20 minutes walk at most. No need to use public transport. Our room also had a view of Dumo which was really quite special. Finally, the staff were lovely.

Air con can be a tad noisy at times.

It was a great stay, very high cleaning standards and comfort levels. Functioning AC, no noise even when we stayed facing the road side. Breakfast was really nice with fresh fruit. Very helpful people at the check-in and check out process. Great location to explore Florence! We liked it so much that we extended our first stay for another three days.

The only minor thing was, we put the sign to not clean out room since we thought it was pretty ok after one night, but when we came back the room was cleaned and the sign was taken away.

Staff very friendly and the room was well maintained and clean. Also room was a great size for 2 persons. Breakfast spread was also well balanced and had a good selection to choose from. Hotel ideally located to great restaurants and not too far from the 'must see' tourist hotel spots. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended
