My stay was wonderful, traveling with friends and family. The rooms were beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like chocolate treats left by our coffee table. Although our first room had a drainage issue, it was promptly resolved by Eleonora, who was attentive and proactive in addressing our concerns. A highlight of our stay was Aman, who made incredible coffee every morning—his kindness, warmth, and attentiveness truly added to our experience. I looked forward to my morning espresso and the delicious mini donuts each day. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a variety of cakes, donuts, and other treats that made each morning special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Nothing to complain about. We had a nice experience staying in this hotel.

The room and facilities are beautiful, with many amenities offered. The building is cheerful, perfectly located, with cold AC and niceties such as toiletries, a mini bar, and evening pub available. The breakfast has a generous selection, and excellent extended hours (easy for those with jet lag, or an awkward schedule). The staff were very kind and accommodating (especially the man who serves at breakfast!) and the reception staff were incredibly helpful with holding my luggage, and assisting with a taxi. I can't stress how perfect the location is - it's very quiet overall, but located perfectly for a short walk to most destinations of interest.

My room was above the elevator and reception - not a good location for me, as guests come in very late (3am) and also begin rising for breakfast very early (7am). If you are a light sleeper, and please request a different room.

We really liked what they have done with the place, an older building met with a modern and fresh style. The place feels homely and comfortable. A cosy bed, powerful showers, nearly sound proof windows (with everything closed at night you can barely hear a thing from the outside world, despite being next to a busy road). The breakfast was brilliant, served 7am till midday. Plus they change up a few fresh cooked items daily to keep it interesting. Location is excellent, 10-12 minutes walk from the station with luggage. Then all the sights are a mere 5 - 20 minutes walk at most. No need to use public transport. Our room also had a view of Dumo which was really quite special. Finally, the staff were lovely.

Air con can be a tad noisy at times.

Lovely hotel and friendly reception staff. Davide in particular, was really helpful with tips and asking how the day had gone. As a solo traveller, it’s nice when the hotel staff make an effort to ask how your trip is going. Got upgraded for a cheap price which was great. Families exactly as advertised and comfy beds. Close to the centre and the train station, with everything within walking distance. Breakfast was very limited for me as a vegetarian, but plenty of pastries etc to stock up on to keep me going. Shame there was not really many hot vegetarian breakfast options I’ll definitely stay again

Something has dropped on the floor in the room, which house keeping hasn’t cleaned so the floor was sticky. Was fine though as I just used the slippers they provided

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Florence. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially the receptionists and a gentleman named Mudi, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent. Additionally, the hotel’s location is very convenient, just a short walk from the city center, making it perfect for exploring Florence. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful city!

Very friendly and helpful staff from restaurant recommendations to helping with our luggage, etc. Great location -- 13 minutes from the main train station, 5 minutes to Accademia Galleria, 9 minutes to the cathedral, but a little bit away from the very very touristy area. Free breakfast is nice (we wanted to enjoy breakfast at a cafe so we went once, but it's a nice option to have).

Great decor & good location. Staff were very friendly & helpful - particularly the night staff. Breakfast was plentiful & diverse & the wait stuff were just lovely. I was very impressed with how many of them spoke multiple languages 😊.

Probs with lock on the door of my room - I arrived & was in & completely unpacked & tried to leave & it became clear the door wasn’t going to lock behind me (which I would not have realised had I not checked it.) So they sent someone with a physical key - & it wouldn’t work either 😳 So the best option was to move rooms. It wasn’t far but still annoying as it meant I didn’t get anywhere to eat dinner before things were closing. The bellboy offered to help - but I’d unpacked & it ended up just moving things in clumps. Bad start to the stay but it improved.

I had an interesting encounter with the front desk manager Aman and hotel manager Gianni. Originally, I made a mistake on my booking dates and I asked for a refund but the front desk person refused. When I was checking out Aman wanted to know why I rated the hotel 1 star. After I told them my experience, they proceeded to refund me 3/4 of what I paid on booking.com. The other 1/4 was lost to booking.com From this experience, I can at least say both Gianni and Aman are fair and honest people. I would be glad to stay at this hotel again.

The front desk was incredible in helping us with two specific problems. One, the power went out in our room and they could not get it restarted. The hotel provided was with an additional room and allowed us to keep our luggage and other items in the original room. Secondly, we checked out on a day without knowing there was a train strike. The hotel went out of its way to get us checked back into a room that suited our needs. In addition, the breakfast was very nice. I would stay here again.
