We absolutely loved the vibe of this hotel, it felt very nostalgic and chic. As soon as you walked in the staff were always available and happy to assist. The breakfast buffet was amazing, my favorite part was the buttery croissants and the made to order a coffee menu. There’s also a small bar with a great bartender who suggested grappa for my husband who was a bit under the weather when we first arrived. They also have afternoon tea time with even more free goodies to enjoy before you head out for the evening.

Showering was a challenge as the temperature would change from hot to cold every few minutes. The hot was extremely hot so I had to step out from under it and vice versa when it got cold. I tried taking a tub bath but it was a challenge to move around (I’m 65 and never take tub baths) because the tub is not wide or standard US size.

Upon arriving, my girlfriend and I were exhausted from a disappointing experience at a previous hotel. However, we were greeted by a very welcoming receptionist named Bryan who made us feel right at home. We were delighted by his kindness and helpfulness. The room was not only spotless and smelled beautiful, but it was also much more spacious than we had expected based on our booking. The location was ideal and the breakfast was both unique and delicious. If you're planning a trip to Florence, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Also my we went to Florence for my birthday and on my birthday Bryan offered me a complimentary glass of wine, which made me feel very good. Fantastic in every aspect!!

The hotel is a quaint boutique establishment located just minutes from the train station. Also within walking distance to the Central Market. Hotel staff are great and attend to your needs during your stay. Bryan at the front desk speaks good English, and Jeff handles a variety of tasks, including breakfast and tea service in the afternoon from 4-6 pm.

Great hotel. It is small and on the perimeter of the downtown local tourist areas. There is nothing bad about this hotel. Don't let the map fool you into thinking it is too far away from walking. Also, it is a short walk to the Accademia Gallery of Florence, where the David statue is located.

5 Star treatment . The staff were very attentive and helpful. High standard interacting with guests as they make you feel very welcome and special . Excellent service . Generous bathroom accessories . The breakfast choice was healthy and wide enough. We travelled with our 20month old grandson and the hotel even went a purchased special oatmeal for him to eat at breakfast. The FREE 'Afternoon Tea' provided is also a bonus after a full day of activities. Great restaurant recommendation within 8 minutes walk from Hotel . Great location around 15minutes easy walk from main attractions. Once again the staff were superb . We felt as if we were in an exclusive Boutique Hotel. This is where we shall continue to stay whenever we visit Florence. BRAVO team Rapollo & thank you !!

Staying at this little gem of a hotel is like coming to your home in Florence. From our arrival, being greeted by Rino with such warmth and detail, and the attentiveness we received from all the staff throughout our stay made us feel at home, especially for a family of 3 (including a toddler). The room has all the necessities you need, and the breakfast choice includes scrambled eggs, salami, iberico, greens, breads, jam and all types of coffee as requested. We also received personal recommendations for nearby restaurants and they didn’t disappoint. Will definitely come back here for a relaxing stay in Florence.

I can’t say enough about how amazing and beautiful this boutique hotel is!! I stayed at this hotel in Florence a few nights and they were so accommodating. Following my two night in Florence I left for five days to Spain. The staff was friendly and absolutely the best!!! Before my flight to Spain I asked them to reserve a taxi for me in the evening to take me to the airport. They were very happy to do that but advised me that just around the corner is the tram for only a few euros and this inexpensive tram conveniently will take me to train station and airport. It was perfect! When I returned back to Florence after my trip to Spain they greeted me back to the hotel like I was family! It was the most hospitable and warm welcome I could ever imagine!! I will only stay at this hotel while in Florence. The breakfast is amazing and the afternoon tea is also an amazing spread included in our room cost!

The hotel was located 10 minutes walk from the train station and very easy to walk to the major attractions within 15 minutes tops. The property is beautiful, charming and very clean. The staff was so helpful, professional and personable. I was always addressed by name and always offered something to make my stay even better. We opted for a terrace room and I was shocked at how spacious it was. The tub was perfect after a long day of sightseeing by foot. The breakfast was just perfect to start the day and the fresh squeezed OJ was great. We didn’t make the tea time but it looked great. The room was perfect. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had two mini bottles of champagne & a card welcoming us when we arrived, which was a very nice touch. Oh! How could I forget about the most comfortable robes! Overall, I loved the hotel and if I am ever back in Firenze, I will definitely stay at Hotel Rapallo.

Hotel Rapallo was a wonderful choice for our stay in Florence. The staff was very welcoming and even allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after our long journey. Breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were spotless. Our room was lovely — even though it faced the street, it was surprisingly quiet thanks to the excellent soundproof windows. The location is also perfect: we were able to visit all the main attractions on foot, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants just around the corner.

The hotel is ideally located, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. It’s impeccably clean, with sheets and towels replaced daily. While the bed could have been more comfortable, the overall experience was positive. Breakfast was decent, though the selection remained the same throughout our stay. The staff was helpful and polite, which made a big difference. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Hotel Rapallo.

If you’re staying more than 3 days, you might find yourself getting a bit tired of the same breakfast every morning 😏

The hotel was really lovely, and the bathroom, while small, was very well appointed. You had to step down from the tub/shower to the floor, which might be a little tricky for older people. Rubber non-slip mats should be provided. The breakfast was wonderful, and the lobby comfortable --- I would only comment that the location was a little far from the central city. 10 blocks walk from the train station. I like to walk, so this did not really bother me, but sometimes we felt we had to take a taxi back at night.
