Location was great, easily walkable to everything - and the rooms were quiet

One of the reasons we didn’t Airbnb was because we wanted to have a lounge area with drinks after we put the kids to bed but the bar shut down (like kicked us out as drinks aren’t allowed in the rooms - even private ones) at 10:30pm . It felt rushed and unnecessary. We would have gone elsewhere but didn’t want to leave our kids and the website hours posted were till midnight. Also the pool didn’t open till 4 pm.

Plus Florence is listed as a hostel, but it exceeded BY FAR my concept of what a hostel is. It had 2 indoor common areas plus 1 outdoor; A bar; Indoor and outdoor pools; Coin-operated laundry facilities; A gym; A 2-tier terrace, and onsite breakfast options. Some floors also had vending machines with beverages and snacks. The facilities were safe. Parking is also offered at an extra fee, but limited in space, so book ahead. None of these I know about ahead of booking. =P We managed to book a private room for 2 (2 single beds, but we were able to just join them together) with a private bathroom. The room is small but very adequate for a short stay such as ours (2 nights). The shower was very nice, with adequate hot water and good pressure.

Nothing! Would be great if it was a bit cheaper.

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Good stay, we didn’t have any issues at all. The aircon worked perfectly and there was no noise despite the amount of people that stay at the hostel at all times.

There are two buildings. The lifts in building at the back are sooooo slow and old, so we chose to use the stairs instead…which is not ideal when you have heavy bags. The room was a bit smaller than what you see in the photos. The sauna and indoor pool were closed, so we couldn’t enjoy that part of the facilities. The drying machine in the laundry room didn’t dry our clothes properly so we had to do it twice, charging us double.

Location: 10 minute walk from main terminal, the main tourist spots are all walking distance so it's easy to get around. There were multiple buses that runs infront of the hotel so it was convinient with luggages. Amazing restaurants close to our hotel. Room: We had 3 adults so the room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was great and the toiletries provided were good. Staff: Lovely!! Also the security at the door were great, felt safe all throughout our stay

Laundry: As a hostel that attracts many backpackers I expected a better laundry facility. However, the machine only took 5 euro BILLS and didn't even give change for what they were charging (4.50 euro). The dryer barely worked so we had to do 3 loads which was a waste.

I was a bit scared when I saw the outside of the hostel, because it looked old and most of all HUGE. But it turned out better than I expected: my dorm (5 beds) was nice and clean, with plugs for each beds and a bathroom for the room. My bed was quite comfortable (except for the sheets which were super thin and hard but eh). The hostel has a pool (which I didn't use) and two terraces, downstairs there is a nice bar with a cool happy hour and events every nights. The location is very close to Santa Maria Novella Station, and great to explore Florence by foot.

This is not the kind of hostel where you can befriend the owners and the others guests super easily (besides your roomates), it is very big so a bit "anonymous". You have to pay 3€ to store your luggage after checking out, which is ridiculous in my opinion.

Really spacious rooms and clean. They also provided fresh towels which is not the norm with most other hostels but much appreciated! Pretty quick walk from the Firenze SMN train station.

Elevator was next to useless so used the stairs most of the time. Had to pay to keep my luggage for a few hours at the property after checkout.

I had a very positive experience at this hostel. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with recommendations or any needs. The location is perfect—just steps from a tram station, making it easy to reach from the train station and very close to Florence’s main attractions. Getting around the city was effortless. The facilities are modern and very clean, with well-maintained common areas. Overall, an excellent choice for its location, cleanliness, and great service. I’d definitely recommend it!

The only downside was the bed frames—they were a bit unstable and made noise when moving, which could be bothersome at night.

The property was, clean well maintained with a spacious layout allowing easy access to the bedrooms. The common areas on the ground floor allowed for self catering. The all you can eat breakfast was generous and I especially liked the pistachio croissants.

I would have liked fresh coffee included in the all you can eat breakfast. The machine coffee provided was adequate but not really good. Fresh coffee was only available on the Italian style option or at separate cost. The English TV options were all news channels, no entertainment or movie channels.

Affordable location relatively close to Florence main train station (10 min walk, couple minutes by tram). Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The hostel has a (small) indoor pool and outdoor pool, and sauna & steam room. There is a grocery store just around the corner. They have luggage storage for ~3 euro for a whole day, which is a good deal if you're considering other options in Florence. Staff was friendly and understanding. The cathedral (Duomo) and city center of Florence/Firenze are at 15 min walk from the hostel.

Pool. sauna and steam room were only open from 15h/16h until 21h00, which felt kind of limited. Didn't see any place where you could store or prepare any of your own food. To be expected in staying at this hostel, there was a large (possibly multiple) group(s) of younger highschool students staying there, which means more noise and people than normal. Luckily, hours of rest and quiet were respected.
