We had a great stay! We arrived before check in and were able to lounge at the rooftop pool and have a drink and then were let into our room early. The room was bigger than expected and had good space to hang our clothes and store our small suitcases below & out of the way. We did request a fan which was promptly delivered and had a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable but quite firm, and pillows soft. We used the pool/rooftop three of our four days and enjoyed it. The room was clean and well set up. And the walk into city centre and most activities was about 25 minutes and very easy. We didn’t use them, but there are lots of inside spaces that you could lounge or work.

My friend found the bed slightly too firm, but I was comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was average, there was airflow but the fan was needed in the July heat. There is an open area that plays music until midnight which our room faced. Once that was closed the hotel was pretty quiet. Note that the pool closes at 6 and there aren’t any outlets near the bed.

Great hotel. My only regret is not being able to stay a bit longer to experience more of it. The room had everything I needed and the rooftop was gorge. If you are looking for a photo op or 10 defo go

One particular member of staff asked me to move my seat while I was enjoying the rooftop to let a bigger crowd sit where I was sitting. It was a fair request and I was due to leave anyways but the way he asked wasn’t very polite, he essentially told me to move rather than requesting, and made me feel even more on my own than I already did feel. I was a solo traveller feeling out of place up there with everyone sitting in crowds and me on my own.

Nice hotel, much better than the one in Bologna. The rooftop bar has a great view although drink options aren't great. Easy check in and out. Close to the train station and not a long walk to the Duomo.

Need a bit of maintenance, few things not working quite right and wasn't the cleanest room but not an issue. Also a very odd layout, we had to walk through multiple doors to get to our room but again not an issue.

Staff were very helpful, rooftop area was fantastic, the area was a ten minute walk from the train station and only fifteen to the centre. Whole hotel was very clean and room spacious and well equipped. Would definitely stay again!

The staff was absolutely wonderful – friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is also excellent, and the view from the hotel terrace is truly beautiful. Drinks on the terrace were quite pricey, but very tasty. The air conditioning, TV, and adjustable lighting all worked perfectly and made the stay more comfortable

Cleanliness was disappointing. The glasses were smudged with fingerprints, there was visible dust in the corners, and the bathroom walls were dirty. The heated towel rail was also grimy and needed a proper cleaning. Another downside was the poor window insulation – we could clearly hear all the noise from the street below

I loved the room, the bed and the bathroom, very comfortable. The pool and the view are fantastic. Breakfast was really good. I loved the design of the place. It's a little far from the city center but it's only 15 min walk.

I didn't like that the hotel store has political posters, they should keep things design only - no need to push agenda.

It was very modern and fresh with a lot of facilities to avail from.

The lift situation was a little annoying they take a awhile to come. Also the room was not cleaned during our stay we never got fresh towels

Nice staff at reception. Good bathroom with toiletries available. Cute spots for pictures (if you are interested) - swing at entrance, rooftop and pool. Distance to city centre ok if you want to walk (30 min walking with some transport available nearby).

Room felt a bit claustrophobic (however we didn't pay for the most expensive one). A bit disappointed with breakfast - could have more variety - but special with service as we would find the trays empty, not enough plates, glasses and bowls at times even though the room was not that busy. Had basic gluten free options like individually packed Schar bread, muesli and crackers. Some fruits but not a lot. Had vegan yogurt which you had to serve with a spoon (not individual pots).

Absolutely amazing hotel, fabulous location and facilties. The roof top pool is incredible and offers brilliant views over Florence. Being slightly out of the centre its quiet whilst still being well connected. We just walked into the center which is about a 15 minute walk. If walking is too challenging then there is a tram stop right outside the main exit of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and whilst advertised as a queen bed it was definitely bigger than that. The ability to do onsite laundry for free really help, especially if like us you're travelling to a few places over a few weeks.

Only minor things, the AC in the room won't go lower than 20 °C which for the weather we had was fine, but had it been a week earlier with 40°c temps might not have been sufficient enough. And other thing to be aware of is rooftop bar is very expensive and doesn't offer guests of the hotel a discount and everyone including visitors pay the same amount. That being said none of these things ruined our trip and were just minor inconveniences

By far the biggest hotel I stayed at during my trip. As the name suggests, it’s a social space indeed—I had many great conversations with other travelers in the lovely pool deck overlooking the city. My room (an upgrade from what I booked) was clean, modern, and well-sized. The laundry was much-appreciated in the middle of a multi-week trip, as was the pool on some sweltering August days. And there are multiple breakfast options if you don’t want to stray too far for a cafe. It’s a fun and hip vibe overall!

Because of its size in a massive building, the layout can be a bit labyrinthine at times, with switching elevators necessary depending on your room. Allow a little more time than you might normally at smaller European hotels—going from laundry room to your own room to the gym, say, can take longer than you’d expect if you’re on a tight schedule.
