A Wonderful kind host! A Unique b&b, beautiful decor and this place is so authentic . It was clean, fantastic size room and the layout was perfect. Spacious balcony area with beautiful views, everything we needed for a short stay. Coffee, tea, kettle, separate coffee machine, wine glasses, even an umbrella to borrow (should you need it) There are shower and hand wash products available and they smell delightful. The towels, good quality! The location perfect for sightseeing and lots of places to eat and drink locally. The area is pleasant and we felt safe going to and from Artemente. A lovely stay and we will definitely return.

The host Anna Maria was wonderful. Very responsive from the time we made the booking to the time we left. She helped in other ways to make our stay comfortable (helping with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, could watch French open with her help, communicate with the airport for our delayed baggage etc). The place was clean, room was large for our party of 3, the bathroom well appointed, centrally located, we could walk to most places. Also coffee, biscotti and sparkling water/still water at all times (other places we stayed at did not provide this).

Nothing to dislike. If you have accessibility issues, then it would be tough to reach the place, the elevator may not be able to accommodate a wheel chair. It is an apartment, not a hotel, so there will be things that feel different. But the room service was several times better than the other places we stayed at in Italy (that's really a positive).

The B&B is located in a beautiful old building within comfortable walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The location is ideal - close enough to be in walking distance to most tourist attractions but not too close so that it gets loud at night. A period elevator with an elegant wrought iron gate takes you to the third floor, where the B&B is. In typical Italian palazzo style, it has very high ceilings and the floors are tiled, which makes it easy to maintain a cool and pleasant temperature even when it's hot outside. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy, made even more so by the long shelves carrying art pieces which stretch along the main hallway, and the art supplies hanging from the walls. The room is furnished in a practical manner, with a spacious fridge (larger than your average hotel minibar), TV and water kettle with tea/coffee. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower and a bidet. The nights are quiet, no cars or loud partygoers making noise outside. The bed was comfortable, and there were more than enough good pillows. The manager, Anna Maria, is absolutely lovely and very attentive: she provided me with a map with all her tips and hidden gems which greatly improved my visit to Florence, and was always ready to help, whether with a restaurant reservation or with calling a taxi. She knows how to make a guest feel special. I had a wonderful stay and would stay there again anytime!

I had the rooftop suite which had amazing 300-degree views (3 of the 4 windows were straight-glass) of the city and Duomo. It was such a treat to have this amazing terrace to enjoy the view and have friends over for a glass of wine. The B&B was centrally located and close to the city market, all the main historical attractions and restaurants and shops. The hostess Anna Maria was attentive and helpful with recommendations of where to go and always very attentive. Even though the stairs up to the suite were harrowing at times, I would certainly return here every time I come back to Venice.

I am a little concerned that I started getting bites that started when I stayed there, that looked like bed bug bites rather than mosquito bites. But understandable that it's an issue, given the boon of travelers flooding through Europe post-Covid. But other than that, an amazing stay and place.

Unfortunately my plane was redirected to Bologna, and I had to travel by bus to Firenze where I was lucky enough to share a taxi. Arrived at B&B after 1 am It was all the way up the stairs. No message left on door. I was extremely tired and not sure what to do. I kept ringing the bell and fortunately my host finally welcomed me inside. No time to shower or eat Check out time at 10. I had coffee and a biscuit and walked to the train station to catch a train to Assisi which stopped due to bad weather and we were all rescued and led down a steep hill. Then walked to highway to catch a bus to Perugia where I had to buy another train ticket to Assisi which stopped and then I was unable to see a taxi. A very suspicious young man called me a taxi there and this time I arrived before 11 pm at Hotel Sole

I really appreciated the host letting me in and offering me a place to sleep but was very upset that there was no food. I felt over-tired , overwhelmed and very hungry in a strange city

The room is in a beautiful, historic building and was perfect for a family of 3. Spacious, with tall ceilings and with all the facilities one would need. The room and bathroom were tastefully furnished. Location was pretty amazing with a lot of great restaurants and cafes. The host Anna Maria is an extremely warm and helpful person. She gave us a map with amazing recommendations for historical sites and top restaurants. And she was very accommodating in allowing us to checkout late so we could visit more sites on our last day in Florence. We would love to go back and stay at this property.

This incredible place is exceptionally situated. The distance from the train station is a 5 to 7-minute walk . Basilica di San Lorenzo is accessible within an 8-minute walk. The room is big, beautiful, and well equipped. The bathroom is spacious and features an excellent shower. Host Ana Maria possesses an exceptionally benevolent nature. She is a beautiful lady with a great smile. She ensured we felt welcomed from start to finish. I will certainly return.

We loved everything.

The rooftop suite that has full panorama view from its balcony is simply sensational, gorgeous. You just want to sit here (with a fine wine maybe) and watch the city from above. Exceptional, memorable experience, really good choice for a honeymoon.

Expect small old elevator, steep stairs to go up to the rooftop suite, and the room is just enough for a couple - it's fully worth and exciting, I just say to be aware and manage expectations. For us it was really cozy!

We were warmly welcomed by Anna Maria who was a helpful, attentive and caring host. We loved the convenient location, so close to the station, main sights & some excellent restaurants, but quiet. We also liked the artistic and quirky decor. This is a home of character!

Nothing really - the lift was a little ancient (!) - but it is an old building & it added to the authenticity of the experience of spending time in a typical Florentine building. We settled in well and were made to feel very much at home.

The host, Anna Maria, was very kind and gave great tips on tourist attractions and local places to eat. My room was clean and cozy, in a great location close to the sights, and the AC kept it cool even im the summer heat of over 30 degrees. I stayed in a street-view room, but with Anna Maria's permission, I checked out the balcony room. The view was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!
