Lots of positives - staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel and surroundings were nice and quiet, the bathroom was good, and the room had a safe / fridge / kettle / etc.

Very minor negative - Just under 10 mins from the station, and about 20-25 to the city centre which was slightly further

This small, cozy hotel is located out of the main tourist mayhem, but within the city limits. It is very close to the Train and Bus terminal which was fantastic for us to do short travels. Also you can walk the center in a 20 to 30 minutes span. The staff was absolutely marvelous. Friendly, helpful, service oriented, both check-in and check-out were done in the blink of an eye. There is not really a cafe or lobby to stay away from the room but well...we were enjoying Firenze!

While the quality overall was good the price was far too expensive. Realize that half of your bill is ´overcrowded destination´.

The room was nicely decorated and modern. It had all the facilities we needed i.e. a fridge and a safe. The hotel is located on a really quiet street so we slept great while staying here. Had the breakfast one morning which was decent for a continental breakfast (and there's a nice outdoor area to sit and eat).

The room was a bit small but we did have a giant suitcase taking up quite a bit of room so that won't have helped. Slightly further out from the main attractions than we would have liked but we chose it for it's proximity to the train station.

The staff stands out here. They were all phenomenal. We don't speak much Italian and they were all able to assist whenever we needed. They called a couple taxis for us and booked them and also booked a restaurant reservation for us when we had trouble with it. The room is cozy (if you're from the U.S., it's smaller than we're used to), however the bed is comfortable and shower always had hot water (and a nice waterfall shower-head as well!). Great location - ten minutes to walk to the train station, fifteen minutes to the busy part of the city near the Duomo.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at this hotel. The breakfast was good value, great quality and varied set in an atmospheric vaulted basement or the garden. The location of the hotel was a few minutes walk from the train station in a quiet street. The area felt safe and the city sights were easily accessible on foot. The room was a reasonable size with everything you needed for a short break such as safety deposit box, hair dryer, fridge, tea and coffee. The bed was large and so comfortable plus it en bathroom had a fabulous shower.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and in a great area, just a few minutes walk from Florence centre and the train station. We had a large room, which came with an incredibly comfy bed! Breakfast was €6.50 from the hotel, which was a buffet, and I would highly recommend. Would not hesitate to return here upon another trip to Florence and will be highly recommending this hotel to others!

Great to have tea/coffee in the room, however it would have been great to have milk as standard with it. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear-plugs if you can - most of the time it is quiet enough, however we had loud bangs from upstairs at times

Very friendly staff, all spoke English very well. Extremely accommodating, the desk closes at 20:00 but I didn't get into Florence until 22:00. I messaged the ahead of time and they gave me the code to the front door and put my key in an envelope on the desk! You will never see something like that in the US lol. Room was relatively large, very clean, bathroom and shower were very nice. Breakfast was excellent for only 7€.

My one complaint is the AC. It was pretty weak and I wasn't able to set it to less than 19C, which would be fine, but it never came close to getting the room under 20C. Woke up in the night sweating. Then againit was 95F/35C the whole time. Better to just not go to Florence when it's that hot bc it's quite miserable in general lol.

Lovely spacious elegant rooms. Large modern bathroom. Fridge and kettle in the room which is so important for us. The hotel was just about 10 /15minutes to the station and about 12/15 to the Duomo . It is in a nice quiet street but close enough to everything.The rustic breakfast room on the ground floor was so cozy. The staff were so kind and friendly.

Very basic breakfast. Poor choice of cereals.The bread rolls seemed reheated and not so fresh but apart from that there was nothing I didn’t like!!!

Hotel Cosmos is perfect for visiting Florence. It's within walking distance of all major sites but just far enough off the main streets so really quiet. Our room was very clean, had everything we needed. Staff were helpful and breakfast was simple but plenty to start the day. Would definitely revisit.

Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel has a lift and a interior garden. The room and bathroom are big, clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable. There was no noise from neighbors/outside. Towels were changed daily. Housekeeping was done daily. The breakfast is very good and varied. The coffee and pastrieis products are delicious. The hotel is located in a perimeter without close-by restaurants or other pubs so the area is quiet and over-all safe neighbour, without heavy traffic. I found enough parking spaces. Close to public transportation infrastructure. Distances: 6 minute walk from the trainstation, 8-15 minute walk to main attractions of the old town. I would warmly reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a good stay in Florence.

The WI-FI signal was a little bit too slow for me.
