This is a lovely, beautiful hotel close to the main Florence train station. Guests have access to a nice terrace and the people who run it are really wonderful. The room was clean with plenty of space for our luggage, and there was a coffee machine. We were also able to store our luggage for a few hours after check-out, giving us an extra day of exploration in Florence.

Our room was on the street-side, so we could hear all the loud noises from the street even after closing the window. Earplugs were provided, but it was still hard to sleep at times.

Lovely old building with quirky character. About 5 or so minutes walk from Firenze SMN station and also within easy walking distance of everything. An espresso coffee machine and a cake for breakfast every morning. Clean and very comfortable bed, friendly staff (cleaning lady was lovely) and also the owners who were very helpful. The bathroom is shared but we didn’t see anyone else there. Very reasonable price considering the location etc. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back there.

Nothing. We loved it. The only negative ( for some) would perhaps be that it can be quite noisy in the street but it really didn’t bother us. We even enjoyed the singing of the man in the bar nearby.

The location is excellent, far away enough to be out of the tourist craziness, close enough to walk to the Duomo in 7-8 mins. The owners are wonderful. Pino made me a cup of coffee every morning and chatted. Their terrace is wonderful; you wouldn’t think you were in the middle of Florence. I had a great time

The first floor room was a bit noisy in evenings with post-dinner traffic, but earplugs solved the issue.

Lovely little hotel walking distance from the train station. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a very curated experience to stay here. The shared terrace area provided a great breeze on the hot days.

Not every room has AC, which is clearly listed on booking so be sure to read! Unfortunately in July it was extremely hot so while the fan helped it was a bit of a struggle falling asleep with the window open to so much street noise from the bars and restaurants down below. There were only a few outlets in the room - one being used by the fan, one for the minifridge and one for a bug spray - so navigating which to unplug when my phone needed a charge was tricky at first until I figured out the best system for me.

The location near the main train station, the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome from the local owners were great. The room was basic but just what I needed as I spent most of my time exploring the city so a fantastic bargain/value for money for my needs and long stay.

Cupboards a bit dusty so I had to clean them before to put my clothes inside. Fridge not quite cold enough if you intend on storing things like yoghurt and milk etc. There can be very noisy neighbours in the street due to the proximity of a restaurant/bar with a terrace that closed rather late at night, especially on weekends. Double-glazed windows might stop most of the noise in the future but I would recommend a room away from the street in the meantime.

Very clean! Lovely host and the property is screaming with a homey Italian charm. I like how near it is from main train station, duomo and basically everywhere. Never used the public transpo during my entire stay. There’s also a small restaurant near the property that’s got lovely food - Il Basilico. I also love that the shared toilet gets cleaned almost like after it gets used. Your room is also cleaned daily. And awesome hospitality from the owners. Would definitely come back!

This charming, family run lodging is located around the corner from the Central market, an easy walk from the train station and top sights. An amazing patio with great views and lots of fruits and vegetables in planters and the family's pet birds in residence provided a lovely retreat after a sightseeing, in-room coffee machine and mini fridge provided comforts of home. Thank you hostess Carmella for upgrading my room, , the private shower was much appreciated! If you're visiting Florence, don't hesitate to book here!

Everything was great, no downside.

The location is great，it’s only few minutes’ walk to most of those famous attractions. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and tidy. Moreover, there is a spacious communal balcony for relaxation. The owners of the hotel are a couple who are very friendly. I am a girl, and I travelled alone this time. the hotel is safe and actually my stay was quite comfortable，just like being at home.

The room and shared bathroom are very clean. Good to have coffee machine in the room and desert everyday. The hosts are very nice. I appreciated their help and sharing. It's a lovely and warm place like staying in friend's house. I had good time there.

My room is on the street, so there's some noise. I got used to it which didn't bother me too much.

It was a great experience. I did not encounter any problems at the hotel. In fact, I had a pleasant six days beyond my expectations. There are two reasons for this. First, the hotel and rooms are as seen in the pictures. The hotel's design is impressive and the terrace is very cute. Furthermore, the hotel boasts an excellent location - it is centrally situated yet secluded from the noise. Another reason is that Mr Carmel Coppola is helpful and wonderful. I am delighted to have met him.

I don't have any negative thoughts in general. However, the room I stayed in was facing the street, probably because there was no air conditioning, maybe it could be a problem in hot weather, but there was a fan and it was enough for me.
