The hotel is very well located — you can easily walk to all the main tourist attractions without needing a bus, especially since buses can actually take longer due to the narrow streets. It’s quite central, yet the street is quiet. There are plenty of cafes and terraces nearby, and it’s also very close to the train station and airport bus stops — we walked from there with no problem. Housekeeping was excellent: the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed, and the bed was neatly made. The front desk is open 24/7, and the staff are incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with anything. 🥹 Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😍🤗

If I had to mention one thing, it would be the breakfast — plenty of sweet choices, but not many savory ones.

We picked this hotel basically for the private parking and that it was a short walking to all the tourists locations, the room had a private bathroom and it was cheaper than most we looked at, that was available at the time, we arrived very late and luckily they always have a staff member to welcome and help you at reception. This is an old historical building with 4 levels, so the elevator is a big relief with baggage, room was a good size, the furnishings a bit dated, l guess to suit the heritage stile, but has everything you need, you can even have a little kettle for tea and coffee if you ask for it, as it's not in the room on arrival. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and plenty of clean linen, a TV and free wifi is provided.

As it was very hot weather when we stayed, the only negative was that the air-conditioning is like a gas heater thats situated on the wall at floor level and it doesn't cool the room very well, also if you intend to stay in your room past 9am, it will be turned off for cleaning, and won't be turned on again till 1pm in the afternoon. Aso parking on-site was not free.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist. One unique feature of the hotel is its atrium-style parking inside the hotel walls. Despite being a small space, it accommodates even SUV-sized vehicles. Breakfast was well-served with a variety of options, and the staff regularly checked in to offer freshly made macchiato or cappuccino, adding a personal touch to the experience. The location is unbeatable, with all major attractions within 10 to 25-minute walks. The cathedral, Uffizi gallery and central market are in walking distance making sightseeing incredibly easy. For those arriving late or feeling tired, the nearby restaurant Enzo e Piero, just a five-minute walk from the hotel, serves amazing Florentine dishes. The hotel also offers a 24-hour reception, ensuring you’re always attended to no matter the time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return to Hotel Vasari. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at this Hotel many times (all for business purposes) so I know exactly what I'm getting. Excellent location for the station and the majority of Tourist points of interest. The ratings listed confirm my views in that this Hotel is good value for money.

As this is not a 5 star Hotel with all that that entails - I have no negatives because I am very satisfied with all aspects.

Nice staff, good location, it has its own parking (did not use, but it's there). It's a historic hotel, in good condition, and it has an elevator. Pretty close to everything. Safe area. Close to train station as well.

small bathroom, very uncomfortable pillows (this seems to be the rule in Italy, with hard, rubbery pillows). Bed was ok, but squeaky. Beware of mosquitoes! Not really the hotel's problem, but I've never seen so many vicious mosquitos in a single room. So, keep windows closed when the lights are on. Can't comment on AC, since we traveled in September, so we didn't need it.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The bed was one of the best we've experienced during our trip in Italy. The location is fantastic—centrally located and just a short walk from the train station. The area is vibrant, with plenty of dining and café options nearby. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Without a doubt, this is a place we would love to return to! Highly recommended!

it was close to the train station, great location in terms off arrival, getting to the hotel and leaving the city. the hotel was clean. the bathroom was small, but it wasn't a problem for us, since we didn't spend that much time in the room. also I had no other options in this price range in the city since I had to book a week before my stay in September, the whole city was booked. The hotel is in old historical building, pretty much like the rest of Florence, which was charming in a way. good to know that they have an elevator. they offered us breakfast for 8 euros per person till 10 am. since we didn't try the hotel's breakfast I won't be able to comment on that.

The location was excellent - a short walk distance from the main attractions. There’s paid parking provided if you’re traveling by car and the roam was really clean and spacious. We also appreciated the instructions on how to avoid the ZTL zones when traveling by car.

- The mattress on the bed had a dent in the middle and the pillows were not comfortable at all, which resulted in a sore back. - We were told that the price for renting a car space is 20-25 eur max when we made the reservation, but when we arrived they told us that the max price is 30 eur, so keep this in mind.

The access route with to the hotel can allow fines very easily from Firenze Mayor…I hope that this time we’ll not receive another fine as it was in 2023

Conveniently located hotel with a great central location, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. One thing to note is that the hotel has a parking lot, which is a bonus, but the entrance is quite narrow. Unfortunately, I damaged my car's rear door area while trying to navigate the tight space.
