The breakfast choice was very wide and provided something for everyone- though eggs and bacon didn’t feature, but practically everything else. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms made up every day, with fresh towels supplied daily. Located only 5 minutes from the railway and bus stations it was ideal for day trips out to Pisa and Sienna. For what was on offer very reasonable

No shelf in the bathroom- lack of hanging space and no drawers- so had to live out of suitcase- we were there for 10 nights and the average stay was for about 2 - so that’s the market they are dealing with

Room was a great size with the bed on an upper level, nowhere unfortunately to sit if more than 1 person other than the bed was only 1 chair. Very clean room & bathroom within a great location to walk to all attractions. Breakfast was simple but fine, the coffee machine a little unreliable but was quickly rectified by the gentleman on service. The young man on Reception was very pleasant when we checked in. Good value for money for all round.

Quite a bit of noise coming from work happening in the garden courtyard area, not a problem for us as up early, but may not please everyone if wanting a long lie. Gent on breakfast could smile/chat a little more, as it wasn't the most welcoming for guests over Breakfast!

We had a great stay here at Mia Cara. They are located in the city and had a parking garage available (kinda expensive, €30 a night) for our car as we drove here. We could walk to all our desired destinations and there were a ton of choices for food on the way. Our room was spacious for our small family of 3 and we had a nice view from our window on the third floor. I was so glad to be away from the street noise and the hallways were really quiet. The interior of the stairways were decorated with amazing pieces of art, which was very pleasant to see. There was always enough food to eat for breakfast, which I am glad I booked. The coffee was delicious and there were plenty of options of food to choose from. The staff at the front desk were very kind. We really did enjoy our stay here.

The only thing I can recommend to enhance our stay there would be to add blackout curtains in the room and to ensure the hot breakfast items stay hot/warm while out. The double bed was very creaky and sunk in on the left side, but I managed to sleep well enough.

It is a bit noisy as one can hear all the neighbours in the room. For some reason a member of the staff got upset at me for spilling some scrambled eggs on the buffet table. But they give very tiny plates. He said rude things in Italian, perhaps thinking I didn’t understand Italian. The buffet area is also a little unpractical and small so people are easily blocked at the entrance or have to wait for someone to finish taking something just to go through.

The location is perfect only 5 minutes walk from the railway station. and Room was very nice and clean I really like the view from the window which provides a beautiful picture Tuscany dwelling system and their tile roof design.

Breakfast was very low quality and the men's staff was looking at everything on every second which makes many peoples uncomfortable. I would agree with all the previous reviewers who mentioned this incident. Last day we decided to have breakfast outside at Shake café to avoid seeing the beautiful face of the staff in the very early morning.

The location is superb, right on the outskirts of the Centro Storico, and within walking distance of everything. It is on a quieter part of a street with a lot of restaurants and cafes, so lots of eating options close by. Florence is a lively city, and can be pretty noisy, but the rooms here had awesome sound proofing, so we slept wonderfully. I never expect much from breakfast on Italian hotels (at least not unless I'm staying at a 4 star hotel or better), but this was quite good. Room seemed newly refurbished, with new bathroom with a great shower. Hotel seems well-run and very clean.

Beds are firm, whether that's a plus or a minus is a matter of taste. They were on the firmer side for my taste. While there was a lot of variation on the breakfast buffet, the scrambled eggs were quite dry (but hey, there was scrambled eggs available!).

My husband, two children and I stay in the family room and it was perfect for our stay! The reception staff is great, and they are very helpful for everything you need! The hotel also gives detailed instructions for checking in and answer the messages very fast! The reception staff also give tips for places to visit in Florence, out of the touristic area, restaurants, and let us leave our bags there after the check out! The rooms are comfortable, and cleaned every day. The breakfast is very good and delicious, having everything you need! The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes away from the train station and close to all other tourist area. We definitely recommend it! Thank Hotel Cara Mia staff for making our stay memorable!

The hotel was great and suited our purpose. It was tough putting three people in one room, but all we needed were three beds and a bathroom. You absolutely cannot beat the location. A five minute walk to the train station and easy walking access to all the amenities of the city. Hotel Mia Cara was great. Of course, you cannot forget about the friendly staff. We got there a little early and the gentleman at the front desk had no problem storing our luggage. The breakfast is also fantastic. Certainly not used to a breakfast like that in the US. If we ever come back to Florence, we’ll be sure to stay at the Mia Cara.

The elevator is a little small. So you may have to take a few trips if you have several bags. Not the end of the world though.

The hotel is in a friendly pedestrian street with some bars and restaurants. Relative central and at walking distances to the Duomo, the train station, the University, actually mainly everywhere. The staff was friendly and the breakfast with plenty of options. The room was clean and modern and the toilet was probably renovated a short while ago.

I found the price charged for the spa expensive, so I didn't go there. It's a pitty they didn't offer a time-slot free of charge for guests of the hotel or a more competitive price.

The housekeeping staff is exceptionally lovely and the rooms are spotless. All of the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and the room size was ample. The pillows were perfect. The breakfast was the most extensive I experienced over 4 weeks in Italy.

It would be nice if the breakfast foods were kept on a warmer during service. In spite of arriving for breakfast within the first 45 minutes every morning during a 6 night stay, the scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, etc, were always cold.
