The hotel was 5mn walk from the railway station / tram station and 10mn by foot to the Duomo. We had a 4 beds room, a king size and 2 single for 3 people. The room was very cleaned. Bed comfy. The room was nice and warm, very quiet. As stated by previous reviews, the bathroom is small but got what we needed, good hairdryer. Balcony . Breakfast had a good range of food, lovely fresh fruits, mini muffins / doughnuts which are nice for a little treat. The hotel stall were very helpful. We came to Florence last August for 5 days so stayed a little bit further afield, however for a short stay (2.5 days), the hotel is the ideal location, good price and most of it very cleaned and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable for us. Location to the train station was excellent as we were also meeting our tour group then hence this choice. Bit of a walk to the touristy spots but we enjoy walking and sightseeing so it didn't bother us at all.

You can hear the neighbours bathroom.

I wanted to stay near the station so in that respect it was ideal .If I was staying longer I would want a place nearer to the centre.

I wanted a cheap one night stay and was pleased with the cost of the room ,although the room was extra small. Booking .coms address was not in Italian the address I had was Via Cennini 4.There is no such place I got a kind lad on his phone to translate .It is turn left out of station .Cross over find BURGER KING and it is just around that corner .The address is via Bernardo .

The hotel is cute and calm. It was clean. The staff is very polite and always ready to help. They give the map of Florence to everyone and explain everything if you have questions. One day I had a train before the breakfast time. The breakfast was included to my room, but I knew that I would not be able to have it since I had to be at the train station. I informed them in advance and they prepared a lunch box for me so I could get my breakfast with me. Every day they do cleaning. In addition, all the necessary conveniences are included. So, the room is always clean and tidy. In conclusion, my feedback about the hotel is positive. I recommend this hotel!

At the beginning I was struggling with the window:) But then I got used. They showed me how to open it, but it still took some time for me to figure out. However, it is normal. This hotel is called "Palazzo Vecchio", so it is normal that the windows are done in the old style. In general it was not a big problem.

The Hotel has a little run down feel to it, despite the cleaners best efforts. The room is very basic, minimal furniture and can be a little loud if facing the road

Location is great, super close to the train station and metro. 10 min walk from the duomo and major part of the city.

The only downside is that you have to leave the key at the desk every time you leave the room. I do understand tho. Also you can listen to the noise of other rooms / outside but if you are a heavy sleeper it won’t bother you :)

The room was very good and probably the best view of the city from our balcony. We took our dog 🐕 with us, which was no trouble at all. The staff were polite, accommodating, and helpful. We were very close to all the sites, and the train station was just 2 minutes away ideal for visiting the other cities nearby .Breakfast was good, enough to choose from for both of us. Car Park was just a little tight but very handy. There are plenty of places to walk the dog early in the morning and last thing at night. My only criticism was that the shower was a bit tight. Other than that, we had a good time. Would definitely return to that hotel again.

Clean and quiet room, close to the conference center (Palazzo dei Congressi, right across the street), not that far from the Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore, about 10 minutes by walk), good breakfast

In the single room I stayed, there is only one 220V outlet near the bed (there are 2~3 outlets below the table, but 220V plug does not fit in there and only electric kettle can use those outlets). There is really nothing to see via the window in the single room.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff Excellent. I took the room with the Cathedral view. The view was poor and the room and bathroom small. The view did not compensate for the 'upgrade' Would have been better off with the Deluxe Room. The hotel did give me a discount and refunded me. They are very accommodating and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very well placed, just a few minutes from the train station and an easy 10 minute walk into the city centre. The next street over also had a great selection of bars and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and my room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed but a little soulless.
