Clean and comfortable stay. Great location very close to Santa Maria Novella train station and tram stops, as well as walkable distance through tourist centre and to the river. Reception lady was super friendly and helpful, held bags when I arrived several hours before check in, made sure everything was okay and happy to help with all my questions. She even provided a power adaptor when mine was the wrong one. Breakfast was simple with coffee/tea, cereal and some croissants. Very enjoyable stay, would recommend!

I couldn't work out how to use the lift so had to walk up stairs to third floor with my suitcase and each time I entered the hotel.

The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is very close to the train station, and most of the main attractions were within walking distance. Breakfast was quite good and sufficient. However, we had some issues with the internet; it barely worked in the room and kept disconnecting. In the breakfast area, though, there was no problem with the connection. The hot water in the shower wasn’t warm enough either. Maybe there’s a tank system and I happened to use it during peak time, I’m not sure. Other than that, we were generally satisfied with our stay.

We were in Florence for one night and the entire next day. We arrived by train, so we booked Hotel Angelica due to the proximity of the train station. It was about a five minute walk from the train station.The found the hotel located on the third floor of the building in which it was located. Upon check in we were greeted by a very pleasant lady at the front desk who spoke fluent English. I’m sorry I forgot to get her name. We got our keys and was given instructions on reentry to the property after 5pm. Easy process. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had air conditioning, refrigerators, coffee pot with coffee available. The bathroom was very clean and had a hair dryer and more than enough towels. Breakfast is available in the morning. It is a full breakfast. Much more than we expected. We would definitely stay here again and we will recommend Hotel Angelica. We are very pleased with our experience here.

Room was very spacious and was exactly as advertised. Location is excellent with just a few minutes walk from tbe central station. Staff was very helpful, check-in done smoothly. We were not aware of the complimentary breakfast bit the staff came to our room and reminded us about the breakfast despite being after the specified time. She patiently waited until we were done with ours. Breakfast was nice. She was also kind enough to give us some time extra for check-out as we face unexpected delay in getting our rental car.

Nothing much. Lock of bathroom door wasn’t working. If you are arriving after 1700hrs, check-in and keys have to be collected from adjacent 3rd floor of Annabelle hotel which is just 40m away and literally 1 min walk.

Location, staff, breakfast (the croissant was so fresh and delicious 😋, even better than the ones in Paris!). I would also like to thank Maria for her outstanding service in organizing an early breakfast for my family one day and delivering croissants, juice, and fruit for breakfast on our last day, the night before our departure, as she knew we would be checking out at 6 AM! Maria (in the reception) is very friendly, accommodating and making sure that you are OK - indeed a sweet gesture!

Not a big deal - the property is located in the 3rd floor but there is a small lift available. In case of having multiple luggages, multiple trips is needed.

Location!! Close to train station like 4mins away. Close to cathedral duomo/ centro, attractions etc. Plenty of food stalls around, receptionist is lovely. We had the bed made everyday, cleaned and new towels. We have condiments shampoo shower gel and breakfast is lovely. They serve hot meals.

Lift is very tiny bUt this is like every other place in florence. So not a big deal really.

It was a small run hotel that was perfect for what we were after. Close to the station and a short walk to the main centre . Maria did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and went out of her way to accomodate us in any way that she could …. It was just lovely

The property was very cosy , the breakfast was great and the rooms were comfy and warm , it was spotless for an old building with a few wear and tear marks but overall really good

Staff were wonderfully friendly and always happy to help. We went for the breakfast included option and honestly I would highly recommend - it was a self service bar the coffee and the coffee was made for you as you asked for it. The rooms were superb - clean and tidy (the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in!) And quiet as well. The location of the hotel is on the third floor of a strange kind of building layout - the hotel itself is two floors - and there is a small lift that brings one to the third floor should you have any luggage. The hotel kindly let us keep our luggage in the atrium area beside the desk prior to out departure - checkout was at 10am but we were due to leave florence at 16h - which was a wonderful bonus as it meant we could wander around luggage free for a morning! We awoke every morning to the bells of the Duomo, a ten minute walk away. The Santa Maria Novella train station and tram line is a short three minute walk, maps are provided for free at the front desk. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it for those who are travelling in a small group or as a pair if you want a private, quiet place to stay in Florence.

One of the plugs didn't work. It also took three of us to figure out how to use the hairdryer - that was more of an us problem though!

The Madam at the reception was very nice and kind. The breakfast exceeded expectations - it was excellent! Lots of choices, muesli, croissants, sweet rolls, sausages, fruits, juices, excellent omelet. And very, very good coffee! Excellent! Many thanks to the hostess! The location was almost next to the station but it was a very quiet street. I could get everywhere I wanted very well. The room was cleaned every day.
