The hotel has an excellent location close to the railway station and the tram from the airport. It is located in a quiet street - obviously the area around railway stations is never the nicest one but I did not feel insecure. The hotel is located on the first floor of a residential building (there is another hotel on the third floor), it is a flat or a set of flats turned into a hotel. I had a single room with a balcony. The room was not huge but there was also a fridge and a kettle. The bathroom is small and bigger persons might have difficulties "fitting in" but this is not my case. Wifi did not work in my room, which was fine for 2 days but would be a problem during a longer stay. Breakfast was not included and since it only started at 8 am, I did not take it. Generally, the hotel is ideal for a short stay in Florence, as the centre can easily be reached on foot. There are also many shops and restaurants around.

The noise isolation is not the best, so I could hear my neighbours as well as people talking in the corridor.

There was a misunderstanding with the room. I booked a room for 4 people but when we arrived at the hotel, an unpleasant surprise occured. Apparently on the hotel booking it was only a room for 1 person, not for 4 people. But the receptionist helped us a lot and also I called Booking to solve this issue. The room we received was very small ,not compared to the one in the photo.

Very good location. Near the train station and walking distance to attractions, restaurants, and shops. It’s also one of the biggest rooms we have stayed in our euro trip. Good stay, you get what you paid for. And Florence is beautiful.

It’s old, but they have renovated it. One of the staff was so poor in english, that even if we used google translate, he still had a hard time understanding. We asked for a new top sheet, but he didn’t understand what we were asking for, so we had to look for a photo of it. That was such a waste of time.

Hello, it was a pleasure staying with Hotel Lombardi, Great location, near train, tram and bus station and public areas, also walkable distance for places to visit. Reception Staff was great about everything, they were extremely hospitable and explained in detail where and how we could reach and guided us in the right direction. We stayed as two family with 1 year old kid. The breakfast was nice and delicious beyond our expectations. The Lady in breakfast area was so nice and kind, the coffees she made were delicious. The bathroom was clean and renovated. They helped for baby bed at 2nd night.

The furniture in the room looked old but still worked. I think the curtains were heavy on the cornice and were about to fall. When we informed them, they fixed it immediately.

The rooms and the bathroom where new renovated and the quality of the bed was good. (New mattress) a little refrigerator with a minibar. And the size of the room included a little balcony. (Deluxe room) Perfect located in 5 minutes walking distance from the main train station Firenze SMN. Quick check-in and a good little breakfast buffet with good coffee and yogurt. The central area in the side street was not noisy and the Dom in walking distance (approximately 15 minutes) Very good and clean quality for a two star hotel.

We booked this accommodation last minute because our original accommodation in Florence did not work out. Best decision we made! The hotel is minutes away from the train station and centrally located - easy walking distance to most attractions, cafes & shops. The hotel staff, Francesco & Andrea were lovely! Very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations. The room was fresh, spacious enough for three, clean bathrooms and decent breakfast in a sun filled room. We were very comfortable here and would definitely come back!

Property is in an excellent location close to lots of restaurants, markets & public transport

Steps at entrance to property not suitable to travellers with heavy luggage. Paid breakfast was average at best Reception staff not available at desk when we were due to check out. We appreciated kitchen staff who happened to be there assisting us, but this is not acceptable

Quaint old property. Excellent location just 4 minutes from the station but in a quiet street . Also within 10 to 20 minutes of all attractions . We walked everywhere, sometimes coming back for a nap in the middle of the day. Loads of restaurants nearby also shopping. The room is large and clean. The beds are just ok. The iron frame is too light and the move with the slightest nudge very annoying. The shower cubicle is tiny and requires quite a manouvre to shower in. The bidet far away from the pot . Again very annoying. Essentially an old property remodeled somewhere along the way. So slightly quirky off things . But nothing that's a deal breaker. I would highly recommend it . The staff is absolutely wonderful. Always greet with a smile. What a pleasure indeed.
