Once you got into the property it was lovely. Minimalist rooms with high ceilings and clean lines. Lovely white linen. Comfortable bed and pillows. Neat bathroom, and everything sparkling clean. Pretty outdoor area with seating. Tasty continental breakfast. Location was excellent for exploring the city on foot, around the corner from the main train station. The staff were exceptional - Anna, Kristel and Dina couldn’t do enough to help us. Every request was met with a smile. They were amazing! I would definitely go back to the hotel. Great value for money.

The street where the building is situated, Via Fiume, was dirty and smelled of urine. In the middle of the day I saw a junkie (I presume) sitting on the curb and injecting himself. He wasn’t even trying to hide it. There were other seemingly unemployed people hanging around at the end of the street but we were never accosted by anyone. It would help the hotel if the city cleaned up the street.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. It was in great location. The breakfast was in variety and delicious.

Be aware of that it says. "private parking". It does not have parking place. They have valet who we had to wait for 40 min on the busy road with no show. We were told we still had to pay to the valet and parking. At the end, we found a parking on our own and paid 90 euro. . Yes that right. Om addition, The floors in the room had hair that was not cleaned.

The room and bathroom were lovely. It all looks new and there is a lot of space to put your things. The breakfast is delicious with so many choices! But the best part of our stay was Ana! Ana was amazing! She was always answering questions for us and helping us locate sights around the area. Ana also made sure to greet us in the breakfast room and make steamed milk for my coffee. She even held our luggage for us and when we picked it up she gave us cold water and a place to relax before our journey to the next city in Italy. Ana is a gem!

The area is just ok, but it is extremely close to the train station.

The hotel was only 5 minutes away from the Central Station of Florence. We went all over the city, on foot! The room was escellent!! Very beautifyl desing, very home-feeling, comfortable, cosy, smelled wonderful, made you feel welcomed and at home,at the same time! Every thing in the whole premises was chosen wisely! Recycling bags were placed under the TV table!!!! I had never seen that! Their sense of caring for the environmet, would be found everywhere! Fantastic breakfast, with a lot of choices! Even for me, who am a celiac, there were so many gluten free choices!!!!!! The people who worked there, where also very polite, helpful, understanding, always with a smile on their faces! They made our stay wonderful!

There was absolutely nothing that could be better!

The ECO Urban is a B&B in central Florence, just around the corner from the Santa Maria Novella train station and a few minutes from the conference center. The neighborhood is busy, but the via Fiume is quiet with limited traffic and feels safe. The B&B is mainly located on the second floor. It is recently refurbished and appears fresh, with modern bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, double-glazed windows, safe, minibar, good AC, and good WiFi. The breakfast with fresh products is good, somewhere between continental and full. The staff is helpful and friendly.

There are no major problems. Those who stay should know that it is a B&B with staff on the premises in the mornings. The nearby Market Urban hotel handles any need for follow-up in the afternoons and evenings. I had some key card issues that were handled promptly after I contacted them. Some rooms have a bit limited work-space, but most people go to Florence for other reasons than writing on their laptops.

Highlights of our stay included their sumptuous breakfast and the charming, greenery-filled courtyard, which added a warm and cozy touch to our experience. Our four-person room was particularly stunning, offering comfort comparable to a presidential suite, paired with an aesthetically pleasing design. This is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend. Whether it’s the environment, service, or overall experience, everything is truly impeccable!

Nothing, everything is so nice and warm

Location was super near and easily found from S.M Novella station, and relatively near Piazzale montelungo if you're taking the shuttle to anywhere (outlets/tours etc) Staff were really helpful with helping to book for a restaurant with tasty food on christmas day the day before and helping to check if places were open prior to our visit!

The toilets felt a bit run-down with the floor sinking in a bit and the locks of the washroom door not working

Just 2 minutes walk from the SMN train station . From the moment we arrived , Kathlyn, the front desk receptionist, made us feel so welcomed . She was a super kind host . A quick check in and we headed to the town to enjoy Florence . The place is few minutes away from the center . Room and bathroom are modern and clean . Everything was provided . beds were comfy . The morning breakfast was generous . Kathlyn made sure to make the coffee to our likings ….. the breakfast included delicious cold meats, baked goodies and lots of fresh fruits . We enjoyed our breakfast at the outdoor patio that had enormous Jasmine flower wall . Very pleased with everything. I’m glad I found Eco urban for our Florence stay . We spent one night here and went to Tuscany for a week . On the return we stayed here as well . Both times Kathlyn made sure we were very happy and comfortable during our stay . Having kind and friendly hosts makes a big difference during our vacation and I’m glad we got to meet Kathlyn . Thank you

The breakfast room is adequate and the food was good and healthy. The young lady at reception, Kathlyn, who also managed the breakfast was fantastic. Nothing was a problem and she was always bright and cheery when we spoke. 10/10 for Kathlyn. I must also mention the great job the young lady who cleaned our rooms did. Immaculate job and efficient to. Thank you. The location was great also. A 5 minute stroll from the train station and about 10 minutes to the Duomo and Bell Tower (unless others in your group want to marvel at the shops and markets on the way, then add lots more time). Overall the Eco Urban was way better than expected and we would definitely stay there again when in Florence.

I can't think of anything to be critical of at all.

Very nice inside. very close to train station so convenient if you are carrying your luggage but that area is not the closest to doumo and maybe not the safest at night? It is a lovely clean and beautiful room. They had a delicious breakfast in charming courtyard. Staff was very helpful. We stayed one night before flying out early so we appreciated the proximity to the tram.
