The hotel was only 5 minutes away from the Central Station of Florence. We went all over the city, on foot! The room was escellent!! Very beautifyl desing, very home-feeling, comfortable, cosy, smelled wonderful, made you feel welcomed and at home,at the same time! Every thing in the whole premises was chosen wisely! Recycling bags were placed under the TV table!!!! I had never seen that! Their sense of caring for the environmet, would be found everywhere! Fantastic breakfast, with a lot of choices! Even for me, who am a celiac, there were so many gluten free choices!!!!!! The people who worked there, where also very polite, helpful, understanding, always with a smile on their faces! They made our stay wonderful!

There was absolutely nothing that could be better!

The ECO Urban is a B&B in central Florence, just around the corner from the Santa Maria Novella train station and a few minutes from the conference center. The neighborhood is busy, but the via Fiume is quiet with limited traffic and feels safe. The B&B is mainly located on the second floor. It is recently refurbished and appears fresh, with modern bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, double-glazed windows, safe, minibar, good AC, and good WiFi. The breakfast with fresh products is good, somewhere between continental and full. The staff is helpful and friendly.

There are no major problems. Those who stay should know that it is a B&B with staff on the premises in the mornings. The nearby Market Urban hotel handles any need for follow-up in the afternoons and evenings. I had some key card issues that were handled promptly after I contacted them. Some rooms have a bit limited work-space, but most people go to Florence for other reasons than writing on their laptops.

Eco Urban B&B left a deep impression on us! Surrounded by tourist attractions, this accommodation offers exceptional convenience, with bus and train stations within walking distance. Highlights of our stay included their sumptuous breakfast and the charming, greenery-filled courtyard, which added a warm and cozy touch to our experience. Our four-person room was particularly stunning, offering comfort comparable to a presidential suite, paired with an aesthetically pleasing design. This is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend. Whether it’s the environment, service, or overall experience, everything is truly impeccable!

Nothing, everything is so nice and warm

Just 2 minutes walk from the SMN train station . From the moment we arrived , Kathlyn, the front desk receptionist, made us feel so welcomed . She was a super kind host . A quick check in and we headed to the town to enjoy Florence . The place is few minutes away from the center . Room and bathroom are modern and clean . Everything was provided . beds were comfy . The morning breakfast was generous . Kathlyn made sure to make the coffee to our likings ….. the breakfast included delicious cold meats, baked goodies and lots of fresh fruits . We enjoyed our breakfast at the outdoor patio that had enormous Jasmine flower wall . Very pleased with everything. I’m glad I found Eco urban for our Florence stay . We spent one night here and went to Tuscany for a week . On the return we stayed here as well . Both times Kathlyn made sure we were very happy and comfortable during our stay . Having kind and friendly hosts makes a big difference during our vacation and I’m glad we got to meet Kathlyn . Thank you

Location was super near and easily found from S.M Novella station, and relatively near Piazzale montelungo if you're taking the shuttle to anywhere (outlets/tours etc) Staff were really helpful with helping to book for a restaurant with tasty food on christmas day the day before and helping to check if places were open prior to our visit!

The toilets felt a bit run-down with the floor sinking in a bit and the locks of the washroom door not working

The breakfast room is adequate and the food was good and healthy. The young lady at reception, Kathlyn, who also managed the breakfast was fantastic. Nothing was a problem and she was always bright and cheery when we spoke. 10/10 for Kathlyn. I must also mention the great job the young lady who cleaned our rooms did. Immaculate job and efficient to. Thank you. The location was great also. A 5 minute stroll from the train station and about 10 minutes to the Duomo and Bell Tower (unless others in your group want to marvel at the shops and markets on the way, then add lots more time). Overall the Eco Urban was way better than expected and we would definitely stay there again when in Florence.

I can't think of anything to be critical of at all.

Very nice inside. very close to train station so convenient if you are carrying your luggage but that area is not the closest to doumo and maybe not the safest at night? It is a lovely clean and beautiful room. They had a delicious breakfast in charming courtyard. Staff was very helpful. We stayed one night before flying out early so we appreciated the proximity to the tram.

Location around train station is not the nicest area of town

The location: at the edge of the city center with all shops, restaurants and monuments at walking distance, and at 5 minutes walking from the major train station. The Staff: Kathleen making us feel welcome every morning with a genuine smile and 'tailormade' breakfast . The room: enormous, very tastefully decorated and quiet, The bathroom equipped and decorated at the same high level as the rest of the room. The cooperation with the staff of the Market Urban hotel - very friendly and helpful. The cooperation with the Garage Nazionale who parked our car and had it ready when we requested it. All together an excellent experience, thanks!

So conveniently close to the main SMN train station, yet a peaceful haven away from the suitcase-madness of Via Nazionale at the end of the street. A small hotel - quiet and restful - seemingly far from the tourist mayhem of Florence. Gabriella and Kathlyn on reception were superb: kind, and beyond the highest praise. To be greeted at what seemed like a family breakfast with home-made cake was an exceptional start to the day. So helpful, too, was the housekeeper Silvana. I'm a "morning person", but her beds were so comfortable and expertly made that on some days I had great difficulty stirring . . . I was reluctant to move on, knowing that I would seldom receive such great hospitality.

Nothing in the room itself, which was wonderful. However, noise from building work on the floor above disturbed me on an afternoon (and during the same evening!) that I was really unwell and had to stay in the hotel. It merited a complaint. Thankfully for future guests, all work should have been finished by the time this post is read and it won't be a problem. It should never have happened in the first place and was without doubt a senior management failing. I need to stress, though, that Gabriella was quite superb dealing with the problem. It was a small stain on an otherwise lovely stay.

Great stay overall, freshly renovated with a beautiful interior. The staff was also extremely friendly when checking in and checking out. Also, the location was quite nice as it takes less than 10mins by walk to the Duomo.

The check might be a little bit of a hassle, if you check in after 1:30pm, as the reception is only available until then. However, you can check in at another hotel 2mins away from there. So if you have large luggage’s with you, go directly there (eco has informed us about that before our arrival, so all good)
